Been wanting to try this new hot spot for a while and today was the day :) Great ambiance with large patio and cheerful decor. Everything we tried was delicious. Creative menu - the kalbi jjim eggs Benedict was cooked perfectly, kitch avocado toast was light and seasoned well, and the prosciutto burrata honey toast was a great blend of flavors. tried a few times and it's hit and miss and not consistent. For the ube toast only 1-2 of the toasts had custard inside. The remaining toasts only had a dab of custard on the outside and no custard inside and the toasts were really dry. Good customer service and friendly staff but the quality of the food is just not there. Nice ambiance and good place to meet friends for brunch. Food and service were good. However, the tables outside were covered in a layer of dust/dirt. Additionally, their plain toast does not come with butter, and the first employee we asked just pointed at the condiments area saying "that's all we have". The second employee we asked finally emerged from the kitchen with two cubes of butter that were frozen solid. How does a breakfast place not have butter?? My subpar review though, comes from the fact that while my entire table received and nearly finished their food, I had not received my order (5 in total party). Oddly enough, I had ordered first in my party and received my drink, but my omelette with addition of avocado, did not come for 45-50 min of sitting down. After 35-40 min, a gentleman came and asked if everything came out, at which time, I had stated my order did not. He left and 10-15 min later, arrived with my food with a short apology of "sorry about that". Not only did I receive my order very late, they did not add the avocado I had paid extra for. I understand being busy with brunch rush but I dont think it justifies receiving my food 45-50 min later when the rest of my party received their food, and have an item that I paid for missing from my plate. The experience itself, was unfortunately poor for me. Advice for those who go during a rush: dont feel bad to ask the status of your order. read more

Let's just I was so disappointed. Kitch Cafe is in a cute plaza in Fullerton with inside and outside seating. I wouldn't say they had the greatest hospitality, it was just okay. The food however was not good. I got a burrito and my friends got the soufflé/ fluffy pancakes. Presentation wise, everything looked very aesthetically pleasing. However the taste.... Bland, underwhelming, flavorless. My burrito had no taste whatsoever, the potato's were kind of sour and the bacon had just TOO much fat. I could barely eat half of it. The pancakes just tasted like egg whites with toppings which my friends couldn't even eat. I've had these types of pancakes at other restaurants and they have always been excellent w flavor. However it was all just very underwhelming and I am disappointed with my overall experience. Went there for weekday brunch. There were more people working behind the counter than there were patrons. So many things wrong here... no strawberry puree for strawberry matcha, no hojicha for another drink, when someone's drink wasn't sweet enough they wanted to charge her for an extra pump of syrup, the bread they used for my avocado toast was hard and stale. I get that they have a $1 surcharge for eggs, but when my very basic $12 avocado toast was small in size to begin with that $13 in all just didn't make it worth it. It was literally a stale piece of bread, maybe a quarter of an avocado smashed on top, pepper, and 2 small eggs on top. Our food also took a look a long time to come out. The 2 stars were for the nice staff, but the food, especially for that price wasn't really worth it. read more

The cashier mentioned that it would take about 15 minutes for the food to come out, which I told them it was no problem. I was pleasantly surprised by both dishes but mostly the soufflé because I thought it would be too sweet but it was very soft, airy, and balanced. I also loved the prosciutto toast and would definitely order again! It was a generous amount of prosciutto which I appreciated. Also, the french toast wasn't as soft as I expected. I recommend getting the biscoff banana or ube french toast instead of the original. I came here with my gramma to have a cutesy, light lunch, and we had some pretty high hopes. The room was bright with several people, overall felt friendly with good music playing (all KPop if that's your thing). We were greeted nicely but I noticed that whenever my gramma asked for clarification, they didn't care much to repeat themselves to accommodate her being hard of hearing. The menu items were interesting, lots of cool fusion items that included Korean ingredients. However, I don't think their prices match up to their serving sizes and offerings. My gramma got the acai bowl ($10), it was about the size of a Yogurtland cup. I got the Kitch Avocado toast, it came with one slice on a small plate. The flavors were good, but not better than average. The cucumber kimchi on the toast kept sliding off, I definitely think plating could use some work. Probably a nice space to just chill and I don't think we got items that were their best but fine overall. The loco moco was a complete miss for me; the meat in it spoiled my appetite completely and made me feel unwell after. The french toast wasn't bad, but again, nothing special for the price. Unfortunately, we also received dirty shareable plates and the restaurant had a strange smell all throughout. The vibe and the ambiance are lovely, the Korean fusion menu is inspired, and the staff is wonderful. I'd like to try to everything on the menu! The one issue is that during the weekend brunch hours, it was packed, and the service was quite slow. The food took a while, and by the time the food arrived, it was already cold. As others have mentioned, the place just opened up, so they are sorting through the kinks, but it is entirely well worth visiting. The good: Matcha pancakes were delicious. The bad: Service, omelets, hashbrowns, coffee, and price First tried to come on a weekend. Was understaffed and had to wait almost an hour for a table despite joining the waitlist 20 minutes before we arrived. Saw only 1 server working plus a hostess chipping in and decided to eat somewhere else nearby. Came back on a Thursday and it was mellow. However, chairs were wet and tables were dirty. The table next to us complained that it took over 30 minutes for their food to arrive (one person received their food way before everyone else and was finished before the others arrived). When they went in to check on their food and told them it'd been 30 minutes, they were told by staff "it's only been 25 minutes!". That obviously didn't help lol. Drip coffee was not at all fresh around 11:30am and tasted gross. Omelets were one dimensional. You could only taste the butter and cheap cheese. Hashbrowns were somehow both burned on the top and undercooked on the bottom. Plus super salty. Honestly didn't know hashbrowns could be so utterly fumbled. Service was non-existent and you are expected to pay AND tip upfront if you order using the QR code at your table. Would much rather tip at the end. Only redeeming factor was the matcha pancakes which did take a long time to come out but were very delicious and beautiful. In the future, would only consider ordering the sweet items for pickup ahead of time. read more

The Smashburger was phenomenal, perfectly filling, and came with a side of hashbrowns. The flavors were insane! Their special sauce for this item really came through. We didn't try their beverages, but it looks like a lot of people ordered their matcha while dining in. you order at the table through a scan code, or at the register, not directly through a waitress.
