Walked in and could immediately tell this place was going to be amazing. Three atmosphere is clean and inviting. The staff greeted me with a smile and helpedc answer some questions about some food. We ended up ordering a Smoked Brisket breakfast burrito, smoked meatloaf Loco Moco and the Kitch Avocado toast. The burrito was packed with meat and and amazing cheese sauce. The Kitchen avocado toast was so delicious. It had kimchi cucumbers and tomatoes that were packed with flavor. If I had to pick a favorite it would be the smoked meatloaf Loco Moco. Serving time is long and very slow. Wait time is around 20-30min which is reasonable, but the wait for the food to come out take longer than that, so the wait out of the total dining time would be around 60 minutes. We haven't tried any of their breakfast menu. The place is quite busy in the mornings. We did try the brisket and meatloaf for dinner. It was okay, but nothing memorable. Visited Kitch Café around 12:45 p.m. when it was less than half full. Ordered two lattes, a smash burger, and the Kitch scramble plate through the QR code. The Spanish latte and food came on time, but the black sesame latte took 35 minutes. It had been served to another table first and remade. Service was also off. When the scramble plate arrived, the server asked what side I ordered. I said fruit, but she set down a salad and insisted that's what I chose. Iced Spanish latte was supposed to be their newest creation, and I've had a lot of Spanish lattes, from many other coffee shops they need to go back to the drawing board on this one .. a 1.5/2.0. Kitch Cafe seems to lack an identity. Is it a restaurant? A cafe? A coffee shop? The staff is helpful but the service is lacking. We joined the waitlist for self seating, where you order at the front... how does that make sense? Is this some sort of homage to the previous tenant, Rubios? Feels like we followed the confusing procedure, and still waited a long time. The drinks were good, a drip coffee and a sweet cream cold brew. The food is very pretty but doesn't taste that great. The açaí bowl was really frozen, as we were expecting it to be more smooth. We also had trouble mixing the açaí bowl due to the size of the small paper container. We had to ask for another container to mix the acai bowl. The matcha souffle pancake was not really that sweet and didn't taste much like matcha. Im not sure if it was supposed to taste like this but it tasted a lot like just eggs. The ambiance of this place was nice though, there was indoor and outdoor seating so that was nice. Along with that, when my friend was ordering the employee was using inappropriate language saying that "coconut is s**t". It was my first time meeting her, and she was super friendly and quick with the order. I ordered avocado toast, original soufflé pancake and kids breakfast plate. I will admit the food was good. My experience in this establishment could've been a 5 star review if it wasn't for a server that really ruined my experience. The kids plate comes with toast,eggs, ham and hash brown. For a kids plate the hash brown was spicy due to excessive amount of black pepper. When I told the server about it, she brought an extra plate to scrape the hash brown from a plate my son was eating from. When she was doing that I even told her that's so weird that you would take the food and scrape off the hash brown in the middle of my son eating instead of bringing a side of hash brown with no pepper, but she continued to do it. I was tempted to just cancel the rest of the order and leave but the manager made it right. He was very apologetic and brought my son new hash brown and gave us free meal ticket for next time. I don't think I am asking too much when I'm asking for hash brown with no black pepper. She needs better training . The ambience is cute and clean. Overall I do recommend this place. Beyond terrible, I walk in, immediately met with attitude, order takeout, leave the restaurant to go order a drink at Jamba, come back, (after about 10 mins), still not ready, which is cool, I get it. Wait another 15 mins, no one walking by addresses me about my food at all, just ignores me like I'm not there. Everyone else has been served at this point, including a family of 5 or 6 who ordered after me, and a couple that was not in there when I ordered before. Finally get the food bring it home, waffles are pretty lame, paid $8 for 3 mini waffles (not disclosed size on the menu, whole thing looked worth less than $1), and the order is missing the strawberries that were supposed to be included.
