The fact that this place only sells braised items is pretty interesting since it's quite a specialty. Since everything is already pre-packaged and frozen, ordering is pretty easy, you don't really need to call ahead of time. We ordered a box of Duck Neck which sounds really weird but is actually pretty delicious. I like how much Chinese Herbal Medicine flavor there is, but duck neck, in general, doesn't have a lot of meat, more bones than anything. I think it's definitely worth a try if you haven't had this authentic Chinese delicacy. read more

I have ordered delivery from Weee grocery store App for this restaurant twice. Both times are very good and delivery fast. I ordered combo set which come with variety food. It's a very specialized restaurant which only sell mostly Chinese Lou mei (滷味). Items in Lou mei (滷味) will usually take hours to cook with many different Chinese spices & soy sauce. Those items are also difficult to clean and cook. So I'm super happy to find this restaurant. It has many authentic items such as pig ears, chicken feet, duck neck, pig feet, duck mouth...etc. The spirit of Chinese Lou mei (滷味) is to utilize every single pieces of meat, so nothing gets waste. It originates in Southern China, after hundred of years it has developed into flavorful taste. The best item from the menu is definitely the duck necks. It's perfect spicy level and pre-cut it into pieces. It's easy to grab with my thumb and index fingers. My next favorite items are pig ears and pig feet, it's a bit crunchy. I suggest microwave a little bit before serving, so the skin is a bit softer on the mouth feel. I usually watch soap opera and drink beers while eating those. It's pretty happy feeling to be able to eat my kids time favorites from the comfort of my home. Although those items might be too exotic to taste for some people, it tastes really good IMO. So I will definitely encourage everyone to try. read more

The tripe is fantastic here! It is very spicy, be sure that you can handle that level. I have also had the pig ears here, and they were marinated well. The pig ears aren't spicy, but they can as spice on it upon request. Service is good, and it has a deli ambiance to it, and that is fine. read more

I have been looking for a place where I can find this type of snack food that I missed back home, I can say that I have found it!! I'm so happy I found this place and it is so close to where I live! The food here totally surprised me. I have had their pig ears, chicken feet, duck wings, and beef shank, they all taste so good. The spicy flavor just right in my alley, love it! I love that they chopped the duck wings into smaller parts, makes it easier to eat. The pig ears are very thin sliced and the quantity is a lot. The flavor of beef shank is just right and the meat is tender. The chicken feet is frozen, kind of hard to separate it. But I can't stop having it! They do a good job with Dandan mian and other classics from China's southwest. Lots of places have spicy wontons, but there are none with greater flavor than you'll find at Kingwu in San Jose. Hours are roughly 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. when I inquired. Located to the left of Ma's halal restaurant. They are known for their duck parts. As soon as you walk in you experience that aroma of their special spice blend that is Luwei (Chinese marinade which of course can vary regionally) - you know you're getting that authentic taste. Driving a long way here expecting my favorite kind of snacks but ended up with big disappointment. Not tasty at all. You can taste nothing but salty. Even the spicy ones are not spicy at all. Just not flavorful as these kinds of braised dishes should have been. Extremely tiny portions at very high prices. Expensive but not worthy at all. And I really doubt they're doing TAX EVASION. We stumbled upon this little eatery because all the restaurants in that plaza were closed for afternoon break. We ordered three dishes. I want to comment on their braised beef stew noodle soup. The noodles was cooked al dente. The soup was flavorful. The beef stews were delicious and easy to eat, and they put lots of beef in the bowl. We were very happy with that dish. The price was very reasonable. The owner lady brought some freshly cooked braised pigs feet, and pig ears for us to try. They were cooked perfectly and delicious. We will go back again ! read more

Owner gave me one box of braised pork ear as complimentary. However it's spoiled and tasted sour. Don't give expired food as complimentary.

Food are not fresh at all. And they automatically charge you 30% tip without telling you, this is what we experienced last time. So please take a look at your receipt when you get them, make sure they don't charge you tip for nothing. I believe they do some trick on the payment machine. read more

Bad experience. We got one box of beef shank yesterday. And it tasted wired. Feel like it has been a while and went bad already. I asked my husband to bring it back to the store.he mentioned they give him another box which is the same kind of smell. And the person change to another box for us.
