Great communication and quick service for an iphone screen replacement for my kid. Also browsed their inventory of refurbished phones. Replaced my old phone which was unable to accept new ios updates due to storage constraints with the same model but with more storage. So happy I didn't have to deal with that type of purchase online. read more

My battery was expanding. They replaced my battery nice and quick. It was good work and fast. After that I did an update and my phone bricked. I took it to apple and they said a sensor had failed because of the original battery and it was done for. I took it back to Kemo and they were very kind and tried everything to save my phone. They really do good work and they're honorable people. read more

First time I came in I was quoted 159 over the phone for a screen replacement and m and the young lady with an an attitude said you're lying I never said that it's 175. That same day the screen broke because my keys were in my pocket. This has never happened. I go back and they are telling me it was dropped no chance of warranty when it clearly was not dropped. They give me a discount of $120. Lo and behold they put a screen protector on and that same thing happens I have had I phones since the 6 and this has never happened. It's either cheap materials or lazy labor. Beware. I am going to look for compensation for paying 295 for garbage read more

They were very respectful and responsive! And they replaced the battery in my phone very fast I would highly recommend.

These folks are fantastic. I brought in a phone that my mobile provider told me was damaged to the point of needing replacement. Within 5 minutes, they found out that it was just some lint in the battery charging port, cleaned it out and my phone was good as new. They didn't charge me anything for this. Amazing customer service, honest, and skillful--what more can you ask for? read more

They cleaned my clogged phone charging port for free! What?!? Who does that in 2025?? So, I bought an accessory for my phone. It didn't work with my rig and they took it back, no problem. Wow. - Honest, Skilled, and Customer-Focused I brought my iPhone 13 Pro Max (512GB) into KEMO Wireless on International Blvd in Oakland because the charging port was acting up. I had to wiggle the cord or flip it over to get it to charge, which was a major issue since this phone is essential for my resale business. I'd already called a few places--quotes ranged from $125 to $150 just to replace the charging port. KEMO originally quoted me $85, which was already a better deal, so I called again to confirm. That's when I spoke to Sam, who immediately stood out. He listened carefully and said, "You know what? Based on what you're saying, I don't think it's the port itself. Bring it in--I'll check it out. Worst case, it's $85 like we quoted, but it might be way less." When I asked what it would cost if it needed full repair, he was upfront--said it could run $125 max, but again reassured me he didn't think that'd be necessary. That honesty already earned trust. I came in, handed him the phone, and within five minutes, he had it working perfectly. He'd done a full cleaning--turns out there was a bunch of debris deep inside the port. I tested it, flipped the plug, wiggled the cord--rock solid. It charged perfectly on both sides, no issues at all. When I asked what I owed, he just smiled and said, "No charge--didn't have to open it up. Just leave a review." That level of integrity is rare. Even better--when I told him I was in the market for a MacBook, he didn't try to upsell me. We discussed what I needed it for, and he told me straight up that an M1 model would be more than enough. He had newer ones (M2, M3) but didn't push them, just gave solid advice and left the decision to me. Bottom line: KEMO Wireless is the real deal. Honest work, fair prices, no pressure, and genuine care for the customer. Sam turned a frustrating situation into a great experience. He's got a customer for life--and I'll recommend KEMO to anyone who asks. read more

They cleaned out my phone so it could charge again. I got a good deal on a heavy duty iPhone cover. The charger plug doesn't work for my iPhone. It's a generic brand but is supposed to work for iPhones. Avoid buying. Not worth any savings. But unfortunately they have a no return policy. read more

Quick response to my inquiries. Dropped off my iPhone 12pro to get the camera lens repaired. They replaced the full lens assembly. Work was done in a couple hours at a reasonable price. Came in for a MacBook water damage repair and the team helped me determine that the cost of fixing it wouldn't be worth it and showed me exactly what was wrong. I was so impressed by their honest that I just decided to get my iPhone tuned up with a battery replacement and they turned it around in 30 mins for way less than what the Apple Store would charge. They even replaced a broken screen protector as a courtesy. Highly recommend and will come here again! read more

This is by far some of the best service I've ever received. Being the clutz that I am, I dropped my new iphone in the middle of the road and completely shattered my screen. I rushed over to Kemo Wireless since they were the only repair shop open at the time and they had great reviews. They fixed my screen and I was in and out in 20 minutes. Shortly after repair, my phone started getting the black screen of death. I initially was able to turn the phone back up by completing a manual reboot, but a week later the phone just stopped turning on altogether. I went back to Kemo and they replaced my screen at no additional cost, but we found that the black screen issue was continuously happening. I was convinced that my issue had nothing to do with the broken screen, but more so with the motherboard. I went back to Kemo 3 times that day to see if they can help because the issue kept occurring. Their team RELENTLESSLY troubleshooted the phone even though they didn't cause the issue. They dissected my phone and put it back together; when that didn't work they replaced my battery and charging port at no cost. Wow, just wow. I thought I had to fork over another $1000+ on a new phone, but these guys saved me. A HUGE thank you to the Kemo Wireless team. You guys went above and beyond when you didn't have to. The reviews speak for themselves, but this experience was next level. I will be coming here every time in the future and will recommend you to all my family and friends. Honest people, honest business. read more

**THIS IS A CONDENSED VERSION of a complaint that is being filed with the California Attorney General and the California Bureau of Household Goods and Services My written complaint is 5 pages and thoroughly documented.*** On November 30, 2023, I took an iPhone X to Kemo Wireless for a screen repair; only the top half of the screen was responsive to touch, the bottom half was not. I had already performed a hard reset and restore of the iPhone to rule out software issues. After the repair, I collected the phone, completed the payment, and verified that the swipe function was operational. The technician asked if I knew the iCloud password to set up the phone and I stated that I did and would set it up later (I needed to get back to work). Post-repair, all seemed well until attempting to set up Face ID, which resulted in an error indicating a problem with the TrueDepth camera. When addressing this with Kemo Wireless, the experience was beyond frustrating. Initially ignored and later given the runaround, we were met with unfounded claims that the camera was already damaged and told that I refused to provide the password so the technician could set up the phone and verify it's functionality. As I had restored the phone, there wasn't a password to provide, the phone needed to be set up. There was no discussion of the camera at the time of payment. Contrary to their assertions, before the service, there were no issues with Face ID and the TrueDepth camera. The technician's explanations were inconsistent, at one point suggesting the camera was damaged before service, and later implying the damage was from a prior drop or potentially water - an incident that never occurred, as the phone has always been protected by durable casing. Even if the phone had been dropped prior to service, the fact remains the TrueDepth camera and Face ID were both fully functional prior to the screen replacement, AND only the bottom portion of the screen was non-responsive. There were no screen cracks, chips or other physical damage. At this point, we do not trust the repair shop. Thorough research of this issue indicates that the mostly likely cause is that the repair tech either damaged or did not fully connect/program the camera components or cable(s) during the screen replacement service. If the repair technician needed the phone to be set up, to verify proper functioning, he simply could have stated that and I would have set up the phone in-store. The lack of transparency and accountability from Kemo Wireless, coupled with their dismissive attitude, has led to a complete loss of trust. The mishandling of the repair and the subsequent customer service has been both disappointing and concerning, pointing to a serious lack of integrity in their service and dealings. We will not be returning to Kemo Wireless for further repairs. The gaslighting, constant goal-post shifting, general disrespect and disregard for our time and travel is unconscionable. Not to mention the complete lack of trust in the willingness of the business to ethically and honestly repair the phone. read more

Dropped my phone in water so I came to get a quote here on screen repair and see if they can repair water damage given they advertise that they repair both and was given a quote for $260 JUST for the screen and given the quotewas so high compared to other locations I asked if with the screen repair my phone would for sure be working due to the water damage, and if there was any warranty on the screen replacement, and I was told no due to the water damage they could be dry it out but could possibly give me problems at any moment therefore I was expected to pay $260 for a screen and the phone could not work the following day I feel like in this situation either warranty should be provided or they should let the customer know it's best to not even move forward with the screen replacement as the phone may not work. Almost $300 for a screen is crazy that can be put towards a new phone. I also went to different locations in the area and everyone quoted 160 max just for the screen so definitely a rip off here. read more

I went to take my computer to get fixed, my usual place who does things cheaper didn't have a replacement screen until Monday. So I decided to try kemo. I got charged $550and they said they would have it done the same day by 6pm. I saw the kemo guy take my computer to my usual computer fixer across the street. Later on I got a call that I wouldn't get it back till Monday. Monday I called and they said it should be done at 3. I came at 4. Wasn't done. They said they had my computer "charging". As soon as I left I saw the kemo guy leave to my usual repair shop across the street where he picked it up. It's now 5 read more

I'm really happy with the service here! My phone needed a new battery--there were additional complications, so it took longer than expected, but they solved the problem and charged me the quoted battery replacement cost. Later that night, I noticed the camera was no longer working. I went back the next day & they fixed that on the spot. They didn't charge me extra, and even gave me a new screen protector! These guys do a great job, and are very respectful of their customers--a rarity these days. They are now my go-to repair shop, and when it's time for a new phone, I will definitely buy it here. read more

Shattered my phone screen while working on my truck. It's an iPhone 11. Went to metro to get a new phone and forgot how outrageous the prices were. Saved me a huge hit on my bank account and left my phone looking new. Very pleased with their services. Highly recommend. read more

While I needed a screen repair, I also needed a new go-to phone repair shop. I tried out KEMO because they were the only shop open early in the morning. Sam had my phone ready in 35 minutes...for the quoted price. Good communication skills, too. read more

The assistance I received with my new iPhone was excellent; way beyond my expectations! The owner was so knowledgeable, generous with his time, very patient with this non-techy senior, and polite!! I highly recommend Kemo Wireless if you need repairs, a new phone, any gadgets. I contacted Kemo via Yelp and Kamel replied back with 15 min to give me a quote to replace the cracked screen on my iPhone 6 and let me know it would take about 20 min. I headed down and it probably took me longer to find parking on a Saturday afternoon around International & Fruitvale than it did for them to replace the screen. I walked in, there were about 3 people behind the counter...chatting so not busy I'm guessing...or one guy was doing all the work LOL. No matter, they acknowledged me immediately, took my phone, and again let me know it would be about 20 min. I wandered around (tip: Payless Shoes is closing across the street so go buy some shoes, socks, or store fixtures if you read this review in the beginning of June, 2019) and came back ~20 min later and boom! New screen! As a first time customer they gave me a screen cover to help protect it in the future. 20 minutes, $60 and we're good as new. Thanks, Kemo Wireless! read more
