He took the time to explain how he had found these were the two issues, how much it would cost and that he would call me on my wife's phone when it was ready. Great service! I texted to get availability and a quote for an iPhone battery replacement and got a prompt response with two battery options. I dropped off the phone the next morning at the agreed upon time and returned 30 minutes later for pick up. The tech told me that it was good that I got the repair before the battery started leaking or swelled sufficiently to crack the display. (The slight bulge in the case was the first tipoff that a replacement was required. Since the iPhone display is glued to the battery, a cracked display makes the replacement much more expensive.) I received awesomely great service from Louis and am very happy I took my phone in for repair. I would definitely use them again for any future cell phone repair needs. I contacted Louis via Yelp (during Saturday morning business hours) and he replied immediately. I took my phone in because it appeared as though the charging port needed replacing. It felt like there was a short in the port because whenever I plugged the phone in, it would stop charging if I even lightly touched the charging plug. I had to jiggle it around to get it to start charging again. Louis quoted me $80+ tax for fixing it. I should've read all the 1 star reviews before I decided to have my iPhone X screen repaired here. Extremely overpriced, my iPhone GPS was completely broken after the screen was replaced. BEWARE, DON'T RISK to bring your mobile phones here !!! When contacted Louis and told him about the issue he was so defensive and did not admit that he completely broke the GPS antenna inside my phone!!! He said the gps has nothing to do with the screen repair. Yes it does! It was completely broken and the iPhone map was no longer usable right after I took my phone from his hand ! I even confirmed with people who worked at the apple store!!! This guy Louis sounded like he is so knowledgeable about screen repair on mobile phones and I started to think either he just acted as if he knew a lot or he did knew that he completely f*ck*p my phone and tried to avoid the responsibility of having to fix my iPhone GPS !!! My phone has been dropped many times and the screen finally bit the dust. I was able to get it fixed the same morning I called. It only took half an hour and was about $75 with taxes. The person working the counter (owner?) was polite and helpful over the phone and in person. One note - the store smells noticeably of cigarette smoke, so maybe not the best choice if you have a severe allergy. We came in and right away was pleasantly greeted by Louis. She wasn't sure which phone she wanted and he was so patient, asked her questions of what she was looking for. He pocessed the phone upgrade, it was a smooth transition and even helped her transfer all the info from her old phone to the new one which was a major plus! Turns out I had to service it, but I couldn't find a place that took walk-ins, and you know Apple stores were closing due to Covid. *Angels descend down with harps as this place popped up on the Yelp recommendations* I was able to get an appointment on Christmas Eve! The whole process took about 45 mins, so I was able to enjoy a coffee and bagel from a local cafe while I waited. I didn't catch his name but I assume he's the owner - he even changed out my cracked screen protector for me, no charge.
