I've been coming here for about a year to service my PS5 and controllers, and up until recently, I've had positive experiences. The staff is usually helpful, and turnaround times are pretty quick. However, my last experience was really disappointing. I brought in my DualSense controllers to fix analog stick issues and paid $100 to repair three knobs. Just one week later, I had the exact same issue with one of the supposedly repaired sticks. When I brought it back, I was charged an additional $60 to fix what should have already been resolved. What's most frustrating is that I couldn't get a clear explanation as to why I was being charged again for the same issue. If a repair doesn't hold up after a week, that should fall under some kind of workmanship guarantee--not an additional charge. I want to continue supporting this business because I've had good experiences in the past, but this situation felt unfair and left me questioning the quality and accountability of the repairs. read more

Sent out a bunch of quotes to pay for my own stupidity (broken screen) and not only was compupod quick to reply, they had an extremely reasonable price (under $100!) and turnaround time (within an hour). Upon arriving, the staff was friendly and professional. They also reconfirmed their quoted price which was excellent (no bait and switch). I enjoyed a quick stroll around Mission while I waited for my fix and sure enough, I was notified after about 40 min. They had me test my phone a bit and once I accepted the quality, we closed out the transaction. Hopefully I don't have a repeated incident, but if I do, I know exactly where I'm going! read more

iPhone users beware. I went to replace a cracked screen. When I got it back the phone warned that the screen it was replaced with was unofficial and would result in performance issues. And it was right. The screen touch is much worse and drains the battery substantially faster than before. When I raised the message to the repair crew they dismissed it as nothing to worry about, which is flat out false. Poor performance and compromises trade in value. Really you're better off going to Best Buy or the Apple Store to do a more legitimate repair. read more

Summary: they took in my device when they didn't have the parts to do so, and couldn't repair it cause it was a new model that they thought their supplier had parts for. So I paid $35 for a useless inspection. The customer service is genuinely fantastic. But my experience was not. Submitted in my rog ally x for repair. Probably shouldn't have the moment I noticed they kept on calling it a "rog ally" like the predecessor version (the components are different) but I thought they could work through it. After a month, or 2 weeks, I was concerned about the lack of an update. I called and they told me the reason why it didn't work. Which was cool. After another month or 2 weeks, I got fed up and gave a call. A nice worker essentially said, "oh so sorry we didn't have parts because it's a newer model and our supplier turns out to not have them". So basically they never had the parts necessary to fix my console, and they charged me $35 for a inspection that helps nobody, not even to Best Buy/Asus when I send it back to them. These guys are great at replacing phone screens, but bad at this type of stuff. read more

Used this location for a Samsung phone screen replacement that I needed to access all of my work information. Arrived and was greeted by the girl in the front she took all my information dropped off the phone came back an hour later and all done. They walked me through my phone repair options; laid out the benefits/drawbacks of each option; and then actually recommended a cheaper fix that would likely preclude the more expensive repair. I went to Compupod for the first time today and came away a loyal customer who will now always come to them first with any issue I have regarding my phone or laptop. Michel, the front counter person who assisted me, provided a level of professional assistance every tech-challenged customer dreams of--extremely knowledgeable, patient, friendly, and thorough, going out of his way to investigate the exact cause of the mystery problem I was having charging my phone. He even tested my cord and charger on his own phone and confirmed it was working even though it would not run on mine. I assumed I needed a new battery which I was willing to buy and have the store install on the spot. But Michel saved me that cost and hassle by determining the actual cause was an interior circuitry problem that had nothing to do with the battery. He was upfront with me that the parts and labor for repair would cost almost as much as a new phone, and then provided a much simpler and cheaper solution. All I had to do was buy a different kind of cord and charger that would run slower but still get the battery to full capacity. He even allowed me to charge the phone for a half-hour at the store while I went and had lunch to be assured this solution would work out. Which it did! It is so refreshing to interact with a service provider who is genuinely wanting and willing to help his customers get what they need. It's apparent Michel really knows his stuff, takes pride in his work, and is just an all-around decent guy. I hope the owner/manager of Compupod reads this review and will do everything they can to keep him. I'm sure other businesses would love to have such a great employee on their staff. read more

My laptop computer went Black screen. I took it to Compupod. the first gentleman was quick and so polite. Such nice manners. he took me to the fixer. and they talked some in spanish and he translated to me. It took no more than 10 mins. left a great review a couple weeks ago but soon after my phone started acting up. It would turn off randomly and be completely unresponsive, and the screen from the beginning wasn't very reactive. It got a small crack and had colored lines all across and was unusable. The man at the repair shop I went to said he was surprised I had been able to find a screen of such poor quality. Additionally, I received a gift card and pressed the link minutes after it was sent to me but it said the link had expired. 2 stars because they were very nice. read more

Perhaps a little chaotic in the store with customers wanting assistance and no clear signage indicating standard operating procedures (chaotic customers also makes it challenging). But staff is efficient, kind and attentive when engaged with the client. Just put up a multi/bilingual sign indicating that customers will be serviced in the order of their arrival to the store. They fixed my hdmi but in doing so it caused problems with my connection to the ps5 like now when the controller is is barley away from the ps5 it disconnects and it has lagging problems like stick drift and the headset audio cuts out little by little and it never happened before the hdmi was broken I even went on my brothers ps5 to see if it would work normally and it would so it's just only my ps5 need help read more
