More information: I only confirmed with this business that it was a battery replacement because they initially had forgotten the service I had requested (battery replacement, and they texted me asking if I wanted a "screen replacement", lol...). Also the people I talked to on the phone had initially quoted me for 115 pre-tax for the replacement, but when I spoke to them yesterday, owner tried to pull a fast one and quoted me for 125 (hence my confirming the price as well). After refusing to pay this price he went back to his initially quoted 115. Not a big deal, but it's funny that they tried changing an agreed upon price last second, lol. Scummy business practice honestly, and their replies and comments speak for themselves. Just shady people trying to scam customers. The staff is usually helpful, and turnaround times are pretty quick. However, my last experience was really disappointing. I brought in my DualSense controllers to fix analog stick issues and paid $100 to repair three knobs. Just one week later, I had the exact same issue with one of the supposedly repaired sticks. When I brought it back, I was charged an additional $60 to fix what should have already been resolved. What's most frustrating is that I couldn't get a clear explanation as to why I was being charged again for the same issue. If a repair doesn't hold up after a week, that should fall under some kind of workmanship guarantee--not an additional charge. I want to continue supporting this business because I've had good experiences in the past, but this situation felt unfair and left me questioning the quality and accountability of the repairs.

I was hoping it would be an easy screen replacement so that I wouldn't have to shell out big $$$ for a new phone altogether. I was checking on Yelp the next day for mobile phone repair in the area and found a few. Applemeister had the best reviews, so I started reading through them. Someone mentioned that they have a Groupon, so I bought it, and then realized it's the same price as when you walk in, so at least you're still getting a deal! The other 2 places locally that replace screens were $10 more. They don't open until 10:30am, but if you work/live close by, it's not an issue. I headed up that way and got there a little after 10:30. Robert wasn't there yet, so the guy who works at the souvenir shop (Applemeister is in the back end of the souvenir shop) called him, explained my situation and was able to take my phone and information and told me to come back at 4pm. Around 2pm Robert called me to make sure of the color screen I wanted (since my phone had an after-market white screen on it instead of the standard black - thankfully he had one white one in stock) and said it would be done in about 20-30 minutes. I had a long work day, so couldn't pick it up until 4pm. When I arrived, my phone looked fantastic! Great customer service by Robert, fast repairs, convenient location and priced well. I also bought a tempered glass screen in addition because I'm clumsy and this will hopefully prevent another broken screen!
