I looked on Amazon, but the cases there were surprisingly not that cheap and didn't have very good reviews (I wanted a case that was sturdy and would protect my phone.) Including shipping, the ones that fit the bill were getting too out of my price range. SO I decided to venture into Chinatown, thinking I could find a case at a store catering to tourists. An employee at one of those stores pointed me to GoApple. GoApple has a huge variety of cases for so so so many different types of phones: all the old iPhones, Androids, Samsungs, and more. They were very reasonably-priced, but the highlight of the visit was the staff. They were attentive and helpful, letting me open up a case to try it out (with hand sanitizer) and then putting on the screen protector for me. She put it on with such care and precision, smoothing out the air bubbles with a wipe, I was extremely impressed. What a pro! I will be back for all my phone needs, and will tell friends to as well. I always passed by this shop at Chinatown. You will see it once you see a lot of phone cases hanging onto the wall. They sell more than just phone cases. I called in and asked if they sell iPhone screen protector and YES they do! I recently bought my iPhone 12 Pro and sure enough this place sell so many cool gadgets! For the screen protector, she told me there's three different price for each screen protector. There's one for $10 and the expensive one is $20. I purchased the expensive one. It's so nice that I sometime forgot there's a screen protector on my iPhone. Everything about this protector is on point and perfection! Stay Away. I never write Yelp reviews (good or bad) but I am so dissatisfied with GoApple I have no choice but to tell what happened. My phone had a crack on the screen (iPhone x) and all the repair shops in the area were out of stock on the right kind of screens. GoApple did have it in stock so, by force, I went and dropped my phone off. I picked it up 40 minutes later and paid $135 for it. BREAK #1 - Later that night a small black blob appears on the upper left side of my screen. Slowly but surely over the next 24 hours, it takes over my whole screen and I cannot use my phone again. I go back to the store - show my receipt and they "fix it", I leave no extra charge. BREAK #2 - The next day the screen starts popping out and I cannot type the letter 'E' or the number '3'. Over the next week it gets worse, a line appears on my screen and I cannot use it. I went back, they refused to fix it saying I dropped it. Now I'm out the original $135 I spent on their two "repairs" and will pay extra to get it fixed at a real place (about $200). I guess you get what you pay for....but, in summary, STAY AWAY. read more

Since my phone already had minor cracks on the bottom edge from a previous fall, the entire left half of the screen detached and showed vertical lines and black splotches. Passed by this shop on the way to lunch with family today (Memorial Day) and noticed the yellow screen repair sign outside this store. Wasn't expecting to find a place open to repair my phone since it is a national holiday, but Fanly was available and able to repair the phone within 30 minutes for an amazing price. Our son's iPhone 6 had a small crack on the corner of the screen and we decided to have the screen changes at GoApple while we were walking around in Chinatown. The crack had been there for ages and wasn't much of a bother but we thought it would be nicer with a new screen. The phone worked perfectly well: Absolutely no issue with it! Before leaving the phone, we ask the employee if everything will be the same once the screen is changed and if everything will work as before (our son wasn't really keen on doing this screen change). He assured us everything would be fine and done in 30mins. After 45mins, we came back to get the phone and they were still working on it. Something had gone wrong when the employee we had talked to tried to change the screen. A second employee was working on it then and could not resolve the problem. Come to find out, they had first tried to install a lower grade screen on the phone (so be aware of that as it is not the same quality than the original iPhone screen). They then tried multiple higher grade screens with no success. The phone now has a very dark area on the one side that does not go away, the flash light does not work, the brightness level can't be changed and the response time is really slow (even just when typing a text message) The employee tried to put back the original iPhone screen and the problem was still there confirming something was damaged in this screen changing process. We understand that sometimes unforeseen issue/problem can happen but what really pissed us out is the GoApple owner's attitude once the employees realised they could not restored the phone to its original form. The employee thought we could go get it fixed at the Apple store and GoApple would pay for it but the owner refused! She said, they had done nothing wrong, the phone still worked and she will not pay for any repairs. Our son was crying and was so upset, the employees did apologise but were in no power to help us. The owner (Fanley I believe) simply did not care and was insisting that the phone must have had a problem before and that her employee had done nothing wrong and not fully asses the phone before changing the screen. Now we have a broken phone which we need to replace and that is not an expense we were ready for! Stay away from this place! Reputable shops would have done everything to restore the phone to its original working form and paid for the repairs. GoApple is not that place! read more
