This place rocks. I needed to repair my iPhone 6s screen so that I can trade it in. Showed up, 20 minutes and 60 bucks later, I have a flawless iPhone. Boom baby. P.S. Don't be thrown off by accompanying souvenir shop at this address -- just ask at the desk and they will help you out! read more

Phone went completely broken. Ghost typing got so bad the phone is unusable. Would not recommend the service. read more

Jr Repair - Mobile Phone Repair Near Me

Nice guys who work here. They charged me $70 for my replacement screens (included LCD) and if you check into Yelp and redeem the deal you get a screen protector and a case. You also don't get charged tax if you pay in cash but I wasn't about to swim my way through the cluster that is Chinatown just to withdrawl cash and save myself less than $10 bucks. My time and sanity is more valuable. They were quick and efficient. Not sure if they use the best parts but whatever my screen is in working condition again. They're nestled inside a souvenir shop so you can spend your 20 mins waiting for your phone perusing the tacky souvenirs Chinatown has to offer. read more

I have been looking for a good iphone repair place and I called JRS and the person who answered the phone was extremely helpful, talked me through everything I needed and gave me a quote. Gotta love a business that actually answers the phone in today's world where you normally have to stay on hold to be routed through an off-site customer service call center! Very convenient hours if you need to go after work for a repair. They seem like Johnny-on-the-spot with super fast turnaround times and were honest with the repair quote when I compared it to other places. Thanks Jose! read more

I've had a few phones repaired by JRS iPhone Repair and it was always a great experience. Today was no different except that he came to me due to the Covid situation. So friendly and nice and fast! He said that the store was going to be shut down due to Covid which is soooo terrible. Be he will be making housecalls to repair your phones! That's good for me but not so good for him and his store. Anyway, the service was fantastic and I am very happy since I had to get 3 phones repaired- new battery, new touch screen, new glass cover. All done in about 20 minutes. How wonderful is that? Try him and see for yourself! read more

Dropped my cracked phone off at 7:22PM, browsed a couple of stores and picked it up brand new at 7:34PM complete with a new temperglass screen cover. I now know that there are no consequences to my actions. Wooo! read more

Best value screen repair in the city. Also you get your phone back in 20 minutes so it's way better than other places which can take hours. Also use your yelp checkin to get a feee screen protector. It's a little hard to find as it's in a souvenir shop, but very happy with the service and timeliness. read more

Highly recommend JRS! He came to me the day I called and fixed my phone in his car in literally 10 minutes. It's just like new and functioning perfectly. He was very friendly and talked through the different screens. Good prices too. Look no further for your iPhone repair needs! read more

From the start, these guys were great. Jose Jr. was quick to respond to my Yelp request for a quote, and he told me that it would take four hours for my iPad Air screen to be fixed. Cool. I dropped off my ipad with Jose Sr around 11:30am, came back to the store around eight hours later at 7:30pm, and I am now typing this review with my new iPad Air screen, fixed and functional, for $90. Jose Jr. Also gave me a verbal 90-day warrantee on the new screen, which I really appreciated it. Overall, the experience was fast, more affordable than a new iPad, and came with excellent service. I would use these guys again, for sure! read more

Jose did a great job repairing my cracked iPhone screen. He was very friendly and efficient and I can't recommend him highly enough.

I called in and he said come in anytime during business hours. I arrived around 3:30pm and was met at the entrance of the building. I told him I needed a new battery for my iphone6s+. He inspected my locked phone, he said no problem, and told me it'll be done in 10-20 minuets. I returned in less than 10 and told me it was all done. I also bought a screen protector and phone case. The same one he uses for his phone. In total ONLY $60!!!! He saved me 1000$ because I didn't want to upgrade to the iPhone X and only had problems with battery life. He showed me my old battery and he noted the surface was disfigured. The new battery that was installed is an original Apple battery, so there shouldn't be any issues. 5 stars. Great service. Nice guy. Quick. Quality parts. read more

Broke my iPhone 6 Plus screen while vacationing in San Francisco and found JRS on Yelp. I normally would be nervous giving my phone to someone in an unfamiliar city but the reviews on here reassured me. I was spending the day in Chinatown anyway so I dropped my phone off, gave them my wife's cell # to call when finished, then went to grab some tea. Within 30-40 minutes my wife's phone rang. My phone was done that quickly. The price: $90. I would have had to pay almost double that in my hometown. JRS, thank you for saving my phone and my wallet at the same time. You rock. read more

The best, quality, prompt service for iPhone (mine is a 6s) anywhere. JRS was available - took 20 minutes to fix my cracked screen and chang the dying batter. My phone, old version that it is, works better than ever. I had tried in vain for days to contact CPR - even knocking on the door in person. No one would respond by phone or mail or however---this was prior to the current social distancing. Go to JRS! read more

I dropped my phone last night and the screen was smashed and not really usable. Needed it fixed ASAP. JRS came to my front door, fixed it his car, and brought it back 10 minutes later. Fast, honest and wore a mask. Highly recommend!!! read more

I cracked my iPhone 7 screen a few days ago and was checking out places to get it fixed while I'd be in the FiDi for the weekend. I sent a Yelp message for a quote and Jose responded within 5 minutes. I set up some time for a few hours later and stopped by. He was transparent, expedient (in 10 minutes as I walked around the block), and did a great job. The new screen feels and works well. I researched the rate my insurance quoted for repairs. Most boutiques are about half that so I researched some in the area open on the weekend. His rate is competitive with others if not less, at little under ~$90 for a generic screen. He was expedient, and I would come here again. Considering how clumsy I am, I'm embarrassed to say I probably will. read more

I've had my screen replaced 3 times and every time I appreciate the responsiveness and flexibility. Best part is that I just have to bring my phone outside on the sidewalk and it's done within 10minutes! Minimum effort, maximum results. read more

Dropped my iPhone, instant spiderweb. Emailed these peeps re price - Jose hit me back in less than 10 mins. Took my phone in, did a short walking tour of Chinatown, came back to a beautiful new phone. Paid for the excellent service and went on my way. read more

Jr canceled my first appointment and said it was due to a family emergency. At our rescheduled time a week later, he just didn't show up, so I wasted an entire day. No apology or explanation for why he didn't show up or fail to communicate. Really terrible customer service. Save yourself a headache and get your phone repaired by a legitimate business. read more

I'm very satisfied, I dropped off my phone and picked it up after 25 minutes. Screen is fix for a reasonable price. Definitely recommend this place Will come back again Thank you read more

I got my phone's screen replaced here some months ago and the work didn't hold up. The screen is coming detached at the bottom edge and the home button (iPhone 6) isn't as secure as it was before I handed it over to be repaired. Additionally, and it's not a huge deal, the colors on the screen didn't look as they did with the original product. Slightly cooler tones and an vaguely bluish tint to whites. Took a chance here and it didn't work out. Hoping to spare other people the headache. Just go to Apple. They cost a bit, no doubt, but they'll get the job done right with their own product. read more

High quality, quick, and honest service. This guy is the man! Very knowledgeable and will help you out and give good recs.

My go-to for cracked iPhone screens - unfortunate bad luck I dropped mine twice in 3 months! Junior does a great job and it's hands down the best price in the area at $60 (most other places charge $99 and upwards for iPhone 6 screen repair). I usually wait around and he can get it done for me in under 20 minutes if they don't have other repairs ahead of me. read more

Went in to check on iPhone for which a front camera was always black. JRS was able to tell me within a few minutes what was wrong, a piece of hardware was missing and various parts put back incorrectly. Thanks for saving me trouble down the road! read more

This was so easy. He came to my place of work and it took 10 minutes. Looks and works great. Thanks Juan!

I'm careless and clumsy! I've dropped my Iphone a thousand times, but was always saved by the padding of the protective case. This time was different, the phone fell with the face almost perfectly parallel to the ground. I picked up the phone, and sure enough, the screen was shattered. Fudge! Got quotes from other several repair shops and JR was the most reasonable and convenient to me. He's in a small storefront on Grant and Pine in Chinatown with a small sandwich board outside advertising phone repairs. He had me out the door in about 15 minutes. Pleasant surprise, he installed a screen protector at no extra charge which should protect the screen the next time I drop it. Definitely recommend! read more
