The ladies on duty went well above and beyond to help me. If you have ever tried to sell an iPhone that you don't need anymore, you may be aware of just how hard Apple intentionally makes that. Instead of just shrugging, the technician downgraded the iOS version on my phone to one that actually worked and that *allowed* me to sell the hardware *I* paid for. I was asked to wait 15 minutes, wound up happily waiting 45, as she was clearly working to solve the problem. Again, she didn't give up, just started running the checklist, and this Graybeard with 30 years in IT appreciates that. The shop itself is in the Capitol of Sketch, 24th and Mission, but like all "scary" neighborhoods in SF, it vibes a whole lot worse than it really is. read more

They saved me over $1,000! I recently traded in my Pixel 8 Pro with T-Mobile for a Pixel 11 Pro. T-Mobile let me take the old phone home, along with the new, to confirm data transfer. Along the way, the phone got stuck in am infinite reboot loop. And if the phone can't boot up, no rebate. They diagnosed the issue as a battery issue, fixed it, and I was good to go. Only giving 5 stars because I can't give 6. read more

my battery was dying on me, so I took it to Mission Wireless, and they had me back up and running with a new battery in about an hour!!! Fantastic service and great people! Couldn't be happier. read more

Not sure if I got a new battery or not. They didn't give me the old one and this one is heating up just like the old one paid over $100. For that. I think they should have given me the old battery read more

It is the best repair shop there is, they offer a three-month warranty, the treatment is very friendly and they helped me in everything I needed to fix my cell phone, they do more things apart from repairing cell phones, it is a very complete store, congratulations read more

Extremely friendly and helpful staff! I came here hoping they could fix my Google Pixel 5a, but unfortunately, it was a motherboard issue. Despite that, the team was incredibly kind, provided a detailed explanation, and recommended next steps. They seemed trustworthy and genuinely wanted to help. I would definitely recommend them and will return if I ever have another device that needs repair. Thank you! read more

The Lightning port on my iPhone 13 stopped working. I tried cleaning it myself, but the phone would only charge wirelessly no matter what I tried. I assumed I'd need a new port, but these guys tried cleaning it again first (under a microscope with a special tool) rather than jumping to the more expensive replacement. It worked like a charm, and I'm super appreciative that they tried the cheaper (and faster) approach first. read more

After dropping my phone at *just* the right angle, I was left panicking on how to get my phone back in working order. I called a couple places on Yelp, and many were quoting $350-500 to replace the screen of my Samsung Note 20 Ultra (d*mn curved edges!) After calling Mission Wireless, they let me know they could squeeze me in, had the screen in stock, and could get it done by EOD for $279. I think that was super reasonable. Parking isn't super easy over there, but I managed to find a spot about a block away. I dropped it off, and came back around 2.5hrs later, and all was good! I had a flimsy screen protector on it (mostly for scratches), and they seemed to replace that free of charge! I'm english speaking, and while I do know some Spanish, the workers there were super nice, and able to provide clear instructions on how the warranty works, etc, and I didn't have to embarrass myself by trying to use my rusty Spanish. This business is also women-owned, a plus for me! Pro tip: Bring a charged laptop if you're driving in, so you can keep your parking spot and not be bored to death during the wait! The block I parked on was near the bank, so I was able to hop on their wifi and play some games while I waited. Theres also lots of shops and food places that you can grab a drink, a burrito, or some tacos while you wait. Thanks again to the folks at Mission Wireless! I was an anxious mess when I came in, and I got to walk out with a weight off my chest. read more

I went to this business based solely on their Yelp reviews and I'm so glad Yelp didn't disappoint me. On a Friday night I dropped my phone and the battery swelled and the backplate popped out. I dreaded the thought of not having a phone and losing my data. I finally went to his place in the Mission near 24th street and I couldn't be happier. Although, one technician was out sick, they managed to replace my battery in an hour and 40 minutes! I simply went to get some Mexican food and stayed at a cafe until the technician Christian called to tell me it was fixed. The people there both Christian and Marisol were very friendly. The total cost was $80 which was very reasonable. read more

my iphone 14 was having intermittent faulty charging connection and I had tried many of the online port cleaning techniques, nothing seemed to work. I thought I needed a new port possibly. I also thought if this goes well I will have my cracked screen replaced. After a quick assessment, I left my phone and came back 20 minutes later and BOOM! my phones port was cleaned and now charged perfectly, and my screen protector was cracked (they replaced it). now both are perfect and I also bought a new phone case so it really feels like a new phone again. Thank you Mission Wireless for the quick affordable fix. read more

Super helpful. I needed a second phone for travel. Helped me get exactly what I needed. There was a tiny hiccup with the eSIM, but they went above and beyond to make it right. Would not hesitate to recommend or do business with them again. read more

I thought my Iphone needed a new battery so I Yelped these folks. They were the top rec. So, I went to Mission Wireless. They charged me the cost of the battery and labor ($67 & change) and told me to return in 2 hrs, so I did. Surprise! They are *beyond* ethical. They stated they tested my battery outside the phone and told me I didn't need a new battery, that there was possibly something wrong with the charging port and that they were giving me a full refund. Moreover, I got a mini lesson on how to preserve battery life. Folks, that's really all you need to know, right? You need good service? Yep, we all do. So now, you know where to go. And the people are just fab. read more

My phone fell into the sea. Instead of replacing, I usually try to repair myself, or find help. Mission Wireless was not fazed by my phone's brief swim, but instead kept me posted on what they plan to do, and possible options if plan A did not correct the problems. My old phone lives on! Pricing was very reasonable, staff was friendly and helpful. Many thanks -- it was a pleasure to work with you! read more

I got several quotes through yelp, and they were the cheapest. Was also very happy to support a women's own business. I thought my charging port was broken and wanted to replace it. When I got there, they figured out that they could simply clean it and that would fix my issue. And that was half of the price they had quoted online. Great integrity. VERY happy with their serivce read more

I wrote them a 5* review 5 years ago. Now I broke my phone today and felt confident to turn to Mission Wireless again. I called first and explained how my screen was showing green (pixel 6) and they quickly said they could fix it. So I took it in, and 90 minutes later my phone was up and working again perfectly. Whew! Also, for the pricing, I used yelp to get quotes from lots of other providers just to see the pricing, and Mission Wireless was also the lowest price. read more

I've had several repairs over the past few years with my cellphones. Marisol and her staff are very efficient and I'm extremely satisfied with the quick repair service they provide. I highly recommend this establishment to be your first stop for any repairs. Thank you! read more

I visited the shop when I shattered my iPhone 13. One of the employees gave me a very thorough explanation of what to expect: Two options for screen repair (as of Jul 2023): - $150 for after-market type - $230 for iPhone screen replacement There were a couple of tradeoffs between the options, but those were clarified to me as if he had my best interest. He was very patient with my questions and didn't make me feel rushed at all. I didn't end up going with this shop, but highly recommend it if it fits what you're looking for. I think it'll be the best match if you're looking to fix an Android phone! read more

Timely and quick service. Knowledgeable staff. They also have a lot of available accessories at the shop

They broke my IPad Pro. I had an iPad Pro 11.7 in which was having poor battery life so when I saw the good yelp reviews and a coupon I tried them out instead of an Apple Store as it was about half the price. I regret this, after a few months the device randomly reboots every time I try to use it. I took it to Apple Store and they tried a software wipe and reset but that didn't work. They stated it was a hardware issue but because it was opened by a third party they wouldn't offer to repair it. Now I'm left with a $800 paper weight. I would not trust them with your device. I thought I was saving like $50 and now I'm out an iPad. read more

I've been coming to repair my phone here for the past 6 years and have never had a problem until recently I went to get a simple screen and home button repair... Screen was replaced with a way thicker plastic glass which now makes everything way harder to press and also makes my screen glitch and even worse they screwed up my home button so now every minute my assistive touch pops up on my screen while I'm trying to type a message or do anything and the phone thinks my home button is still broken which is incredibly inconvenient... And upon going back to the store two days in a row after the fact they said basically nothing can be done even though they made my phone incredibly harder to use and just told me to go to another store to pay more money to have my phone fixed AGAIN Long story short...AVOID THIS STORE they will not take responsibility for their cheap screens and wonky hardware they use to replace the phones and will offer NO type of refund read more

I just needed the backglass on my iPhone fixed so AT&T would accept the trade-in. I called about five places and Mission Wireless quoted me less than half the price compared to others. They got it done exactly when they said they would, at the price they said they would (it was even tax inclusive), and I was able to trade it in without a problem. Will plan on coming back here next time I need a phone repair. read more

Fantastic business! The initial online contact was cordial. When I brought my iPad to the store to have the charging port replaced, they charged the same price quoted to me online. I returned the next morning to pick up my device and it was repaired as promised. After having used it for a few days, I have to say that it is as good as new! I have not seen any damage, scratches or misalignment. I am very happy with the friendly and professional service provided by Mission Wireless and at a very reasonable price. read more

Great service! I thought I needed a repair for my iPhone but they just cleaned out the power port and it worked great. Thanks so much!

If I could give 3.5 stars, this place definitely deserve an "above average" rating! Clean and professionally managed shop that does phone repairs of all sorts - they create a ticket and for something like a screen replacement or battery replacement they can have it back for you in 2 hours. For me, I needed to have both the screen and battery replaced for my Samsung Galaxy S9. Since it is walk-ins only, I dropped by on a Wednesday before a yoga class and went back to pick it up an hour and a half later. Timing was great, popped in, got a ticket, returned later for payment and pick up. I noticed by the next day that some glue had gotten into the space where my front camera became unable to focus and noticed that the battery was draining even faster than before. Crazy...so I came back in and they were able to get it fixed. Unfortunately my battery is still draining really quickly, I can't keep a charge for longer than 6 hours.. I'm not sure if it is my phone or if it is the battery. The screen replacement is grest and totally happy with that service. Definitely recommend sending them a request for a quote if you ever find yourself in need of a phone repair. read more

I had my service today at Mission Wireless. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Mari was super nice and "very honest". My pickup time was store closing time, 6pm (closing early due to holiday) . I paid total of $85 in advance so that I can get out quickly. When I went to the store, Mari told me with smile that the damage was only protector, and there was no damage on the glass. The tech inspects the phone thoroughly and it was functional. In end, they immediately refunded me $60 and only charged me $25 for tech's labor. I truly appreciate her honest and great service. read more

So my kiddo's cell phone screen had a crack... and I insisted it needed a repair. As some of you might be aware, teens don't really care much about such things.... I called frantically on a Black Friday (fully expecting they'd have to order the part..) but I called and they said they would do it on the same day, as I wait! We have the Samsung S20 FE so it's not the most common phone (unfortunately) but they replaced the screen within 2 hours, for $159! Thank you thank you! It was an unexpected expense but they made it painless and reasonable. read more

Great customer service and extremely friendly. Came in thinking I needed a new charging port and it turned out the port just needed a good cleaning. They were honest and saved me money when they could of went ahead and done the work and charged me more. Will come back again read more

I had a brand new (slippery) phone. One day 2 of having it (pre-case and pre-pop-socket), I dropped it - of course it cracked - Lucky for me it was the back - not the front. I really did not want to tell my husband about it - b/c the new phone had been kinda a point of contention. Anyway - I just wanted to get it fixed quickly and move one. I work in the FIDI, and all the cell phone repair shops around here only fix Apple phones (not android - ANNOYING!). Finally, I called this place and they said of course they would fix it - On my lunch hour I took BART here and they had it done within the hour and only $40 - the front screen would have been about $150 - so WHEW!! read more
