WARNING. Devices "repaired" at BayCell are not guaranteed to be the same as they were before coming in. Procced with caution. We brought our son's Apple Watch in for repair to Bay Cell after it's screen was cracked. After getting the watch back our son swam in a pool with the watch on and it stopped working. The Apple Watch is a great device and our son enjoyed using it in pools as it tracks his swims, etc. After taking it back to BayCell we were told that they do not cover "physical and water damage" to the watch. The watch was not damaged again, it was simply used in a pool which we had done countless times before the original break. If BayCell told us up front and even after repair that the watch should not be brought into water because they could not guarantee the seal we would have either not bothered with the repair or not taken it into water. As it is we are out of $150 - BayCell refused to reimburse us the cost of the repair. I would recommend NOT using BayCell if you want your device to operate as it did before it was originally broken. read more

One year ago, BayCell had to replace the battery in my Google Pixel 4a phone and the phone is humming along. Very reasonable prices and top notch work. Another note, I had to replace my battery for a very slim remote, hard to take out and they took it out for me for free. Cellphone, laptops, headphones, you name it! I would call first to verify but it seems like they fix all electronics. I needed my Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones repaired because the right side was cracked. The team at Baycell was able to order the part and fix my headphones with no issues. The service took about 3 weeks but that was mainly because of the part that needed to be shipped. Cost was pretty reasonable and the staff were very good at their job. Quick response time when asking about quote and accurate price quote at that. It ended up taking more than two hours to fix because he was already working on someone's phone. He was upfront that it would take longer due to someone else's phone being dropped off before mine. The whole back of my iPhone was shattered and he was able to fix it like new. Very happy with service. If needing the phone with the hour quote to be fixed maybe call ahead because he's so good he can be busy. You dropped it You ran over it This time you really, really did it Erish can probably fix it even if it's mangled, smashed and looks so broken it won't even lay flat. My son needed his broken, expensive ASUS gaming laptop fixed. He complained the cover was "a little loose" a few weeks ago. I agreed. The next time I saw it, it looked like a train ran over it. He'd dropped it: The hinge was twisted and sticking out, the bottom plate was falling off, the screen was barely able to be opened, 12 screws were missing. The Geek Squad just laughed. Yet Erish took this laptop that wouldn't even lay flat on the surface and carefully took it apart as if handling a Fabergé egg. He stood it on its end and repaired the hinge, set it upside down and began unscrewing it carefully to take off the bottom panel and look at the wiring. My son forgot his power cord so we hoped when he plugged it in at home it would work until Erish could order a new housing unit ($300). Unfortunately with so much of the delicate wiring exposed and juggled around in his backpack for days, the motherboard was damaged. It wouldn't turn on again. Yet, Erish painstakingly went over the unit again and said it wouldn't be worth fixing. If we'd only gone to Erish a little sooner because I swear this guy's a gentle miracle worker. Fixes laptops, phones, iPads, everything. Erish spent 2.5 hours and only charged us $30 for the initial troubleshooting which would've gotten us through until he ordered and replaced the housing. Location is convenient to San Francisco and Silicon Valley, just past the airport off the Third Avenue exit in San Mateo. Or, take CalTrain directly there and walk 5 minutes to the shop. read more
