Beware -- A Cautionary Tale We had an unfortunate and horrible experience at a time when we were most vulnerable, and we were taken advantage of. My work phone suddenly stopped working, and I needed it for my job. I hate to single out one person, as perhaps it's a cultural problem at this place, but Eddie was kind and reassuring at first. He said he tried everything, including cleaning the port, changing the screen, and replacing the battery, but told us the phone was gone for good. He offered to sell us replacement phones, which we declined. We paid for the diagnosis and took our supposedly dead phone home. As a last resort, we pressed the reset button several times, and on the fifth attempt, the phone came back to life. While we were overjoyed, we also felt cheated and let down by someone we'd trusted as a professional and an expert. When we called back for a refund, Eddie denied ever opening or diagnosing the phone, and hung up on us. We learned an expensive lesson and want to share it so no one else gets cheated the way we were. read more

They replaced my Iphone battery with a defective third party battery, when I returned to have it fixed again they did not have a battery in stock so I asked for my money back. After a lengthy discussion I was told I would receive my refund only to find they had only refunded $50 of the original $109. I later went up the road to another phone repair store and got a working OEM Apple battery installed for $97. read more

Tried to like this place. The first encounter was good. Tech was nice. Repair of the iPhone 12 was done quickly. Unfortunately it did not work. The phone started overheating. It would think that the screen was triggered at the slightest bump. Battery life plummeted. To make matters worse, we were leaving on a month+ long vacation and they did not have the ability to repair it again in time. I asked to put a note on the invoice so that we could still get the repair done upon return. Guess where that note went. No where. No record. It gets worse. During the trip, the screen cracked, despite the screen guard that they mounted. Came back at the end of the vacation, and they claimed the repair was out of warranty. We could get another repair done. This time for $180 instead of $250. Fool me once.... Never doing business with this store again. read more

To me, this business deserves 100s of stars... Please read this... I am a business person who uses his phone a loot. So, I damage my phones often... I used go to an other telephone fixing company. Few days i went to them again. They told me they need at least 10 days time to fix it... Fixing price would be $160. I told them that my phone is my business phone, It is my business phone; I can not wait 10 days... They suggested me and gave me this youn gantle man's address. I went to this young man. He said he can fix in 30 minutes for $80 + tax. I have 2 lines and 2 Iphone devices... All the sudanly i damaged my both iphones. One was screen broken and one was wather damaged... I spent hours talking to Verizon suport and Aple suport technicians. They tried to fix for hours. Finaly, they told me, it is inpossible to fix the one wich was not working beause of wather damage... AND, he monted a screen saver for free... I went to this gentleman with my both phones... He recognised me. This time he discounted the price from $80 to $70 each... He fixed both of my phones at the same time... In 30-40 minutes... Not beeing abble to use my phone i use for business costs me at least $2000 a day... Moussa (and Ali) are amazing folks! The back glass of my phone was destroyed from a drop and they helped me replace it at a fraction of the cost to the Apple store. In the process of the replacement, the shards of glass unfortunately damaged some parts of the phone causing it to reboot. without skipping a beat, they offered to make sure the phone was repaired correctly. While the repair took a while, I appreciate how thorough they were with it and their integrity. read more

I just went there today for replacing the battery on my iPhone X. I had been to 2-3 places in the last 4-5 days and they all said they had to order the part and it would take a few days. Called Talk N Fix. Hussain picked up and said he had the part and he could fix it in 30 minutes. I went right away and he fixed it in about 20 minutes and showed me that the battery was at 100% of storage capacity after the restart. Very competent and professional fellow. The store is conveniently located in the Hillsdale mall right next to coffee shops (by the entrance of Nordstrom) with plenty of free parking. Beware of scams. Some may find luck things seem worked. We were there for some protection for our new phone. Deceived and tricked into paying $150. For 3screens 3back camera screens. 1 case. Installation failed to attach screens and scratches all over. We removed and returned everything but refused for a refund. Very bad attitude, unprofessional, no manner. I walked in and asked about repairing my son's cracked display on his iPhone. Moussa, (not sure about the correct spelling) who was sitting at the front, quickly assisted us and told us he could repair the phone within 20 mins. So happy that we found this place! The store had ordered my replacement screen but upon inspection, he noticed the frame was cracked in two places and wouldn't hold my screen properly. Brought my Google phone which got wet and cannot be charged. AM did a superb job to at least get it started in less than an hour an I managed to retrieve my photos. She refused to charge me anything as she, in her own words ' I barely do anything'. i've went here multiple times and everytime i've had a nice encounter with the employees and the store was very budget friendly. however, go in at your own risk. i went there for a screen replacement and when i went to go retrieve my phone my touch screen wasn't working, which was weird because my phone never did that prior to this. i went back to store 3 times in one day to show them my phone was experiencing the same results (the touch screen was not working). they didn't do anything to fix it and said they didn't know the cause. read more

While they do fix your screen in a timely manner, your phone will have problems after. I wasn't told they replace it with an LCD screen which is not what my phone came with. I understand it was significantly cheaper because they use an LCD screen but they should make it clear before. Since they changed my cracked screen the quality has been lower and my phone RANDOMLY and FREQUENTLY turns off on its own. That has NEVER happened before. read more
