My phone itself worked fine, just needed the back fixed because I was worried I was gonna get cut or others if holding my phone. When I got my phone back, the back was fine, but then my phone started to shut off every 3 min or less, or overheat. I went back to see if they were there and ask, and they were not; they closed up shop because of a technical issue (it was on a sign that I read). I went back today to ask if they could fix it, and another employee was there, not the same one. I told her the same thing and asked if she could fix she said no, she can't fix it, only the guy can, and to come on Wednesday. I told her I needed the phone to be fixed right now because I use it for work, and she just said the same thing. Then I asked her for a refund, and she said I can't do that either. It really frustrated me a lot. I'm calm and very open-minded, but this whole interaction and service disappointed me. Like, what do you mean you don't know how to do a refund and can't fix it? I thought all employees from this place knew how to fix the phone, or if they didn't have the piece to recommend me somewhere else, but no. I opted out and told her I'm just gonna find somewhere to see if they could fix and I did. I went somewhere in Burlingame, and the nice gentleman took his time and told me what they did to my phone and showed me what they did, and apparently they burnt or broke a piece of wiring from my phone, causing it to overheat, with it leading to shut off. I was so mad when I found out, and more mad that I wasted my 147 bucks just for my phone to be broken. i aswell took photo of what they did. Again, never coming here again. They were able to complete this in half a day and I picked it up next morning. Odometer on my 2001 Toyota Camry was having issues on high temp days that cause the odometer to not display and the speedometer to remain only at zero. It seems to be a common issue with older 1997-2001 Camrys and the solution was to replace with a new resistor (I tried replacing the VSS, transmission solenoids, spark packs/wires/plugs, new alternator and battery) per a video on YouTube. They did a great job with the soldering of the new resistor and I put the odometer/speedometer back together and into the car with no issues. Now to see if this resolves my Camry issues! I brought in my DualSense controllers to fix analog stick issues and paid $100 to repair three knobs. Just one week later, I had the exact same issue with one of the supposedly repaired sticks. When I brought it back, I was charged an additional $60 to fix what should have already been resolved. What's most frustrating is that I couldn't get a clear explanation as to why I was being charged again for the same issue. If a repair doesn't hold up after a week, that should fall under some kind of workmanship guarantee--not an additional charge. I want to continue supporting this business because I've had good experiences in the past, but this situation felt unfair and left me questioning the quality and accountability of the repairs.
