They were able to complete this in half a day and I picked it up next morning. Odometer on my 2001 Toyota Camry was having issues on high temp days that cause the odometer to not display and the speedometer to remain only at zero. It seems to be a common issue with older 1997-2001 Camrys and the solution was to replace with a new resistor (I tried replacing the VSS, transmission solenoids, spark packs/wires/plugs, new alternator and battery) per a video on YouTube. They did a great job with the soldering of the new resistor and I put the odometer/speedometer back together and into the car with no issues. Now to see if this resolves my Camry issues! Big thank you to Andrea for her prompt replies to my questions and Carlos for ensuring that the techs knew what needed to be done!

Instead of just shrugging, the technician downgraded the iOS version on my phone to one that actually worked and that *allowed* me to sell the hardware *I* paid for. I was asked to wait 15 minutes, wound up happily waiting 45, as she was clearly working to solve the problem. Again, she didn't give up, just started running the checklist, and this Graybeard with 30 years in IT appreciates that. The shop itself is in the Capitol of Sketch, 24th and Mission, but like all "scary" neighborhoods in SF, it vibes a whole lot worse than it really is.

Rather than taking responsibility as the store owner and addressing the damage caused during the repair, she asked the employee involved to cover my loss. I felt bad for the employee who was put in that position. In my opinion, this was very unprofessional and disappointing customer service. I would not recommend this repair service. Zero star if I could do that.
