This business put the wrong screen protector on my Galaxy flip 5 a week ago. It's a folding flip phone and apparently the wrong screen protector can completely damage your screen because of the folding. Less than a week later my phone broke completely and I've now had to spend a lot of time money and effort getting a replacement phone. No refund and no free offer of repair. Asked for my screen to be repaired on my iPhone 14 pro, after coming back to receive my phone the front camera stopped working and back camera is stuck on 1x and 2x. Will not be coming back for screen installs. Parts are not genuine and the quality of the screen is terrible for paying almost the same price as apple repairs. Dropped my phone off last Monday, he said it was motherboard issue ($130) & that it would be a few days. By Sunday, I am anxious to get my phone back & he sounded like he forgot to notify me, said it was ready the next day. One full week. I called the next day, Monday, to make sure my phone is for sure ready, cuz ya really don't know. He said it was ready but that he tacked on an extra $20 for something I couldn't understand. Irritated, but ready to get my super delayed phone, I said fine, whatever, I'm on my way now. I go there & of course I asked him to move the SIM card from my loaner phone to my actual phone. He instantly breaks the opening to my loaner phone & my SIM card gets stuck. After 29 minutes, I tell him that since he fixes phones, he is welcome to take apart the phone to retrieve the SIM card. And this is after he told me, Well, you're going to have to go to AT&T to get the SIM card replaced. Grrrrrrrr, NO!! I'm not doing that!! You fix phones for a living. I already paid you a shitload, I'm not going to make another stop!! So he gouges my loaner phone to get that damn thing out. Photo to come. It was ugly. So many marks & ummm, I'm suppose to return this to my friend?! And he has a real way of making it seem like it is my fault somehow?? The takeaway is, 1. he doesn't know what he's doing. 2. He needs to communicate better. With when would be ready & costs. 3. My phone battery came back to me at 15%, THE LEAST ya can do is charge it LIKE OTHER PLACES like you actually give a shit about your clients but obviously you don't. So I will be going to said OTHER PLACES. Update - Face ID doesn't work. Update #2 - can't make calls out. Calls coming in can't hear me. I won't be back. Never had I experienced such a poor customer service. My Mom who is over 75 yrs came in to change her Ipad battery and was told to come back in 2 hrs and when she came back she was told to comeback tomorrow and waited another 2 hours and then asked to comeback in a week. Nevertheless, we had asked for her Ipad & I noticed Ben Houng name on the Ipad cloud, all her apps and pictures was completely deleted and he gave it back unfixed. When I reset to original reset, there was a Remote Management for a Equity Residential place that can't be erased by me nor Apple. Apple do not recognized and couldn't fix it either. This lead me to believe this not what we brought in and he did a switch on her Ipad. All I can say is to scam a old lady is beyond low. I will report this to the BBB. Really unfortunate that I choose to come here. My phone was dropped while I was in Oakland for a work trip so I brought my iPhone X in to have the front and back glass repaired as it was near by. They quoted me $200 which sounded fair.... if it worked. My phone now has a literal rattle sound, the wireless charging no longer works, the GPS does not function with direction anymore and the quick buttons for flashlight and camera at the bottom of the screen only partially work. I had the phone looked at when I returned to Los Angeles at an authorized dealer and they said they could fix the rattle (the battery was not taped down) but that everything else was a result of the prior service damaging the board and could not be repaired. Maybe this shop can handle basic repairs but do so at your own risk as I just paid $200 to ruin a $1000 phone... read more
