Surprise Surprise my son cracked the screen to Iphone again!! My son found this place to repair his phone. We took it in at around 1 pm phone was ready about 45 min later. Very fast efficient work. Mike is a gem and PhoneGeeks is a treasure. Don't sleep on them! Located along E 14th next to a haircutter boutique, PhoneGeeks repairs, resets, fixes, replaces, etc. all things phones... and at a really reasonable price! Me, my phone, and the ground (especially gravel) are best friends. I've dropped my iPhone 6S Plus at least 20 times. I've had my screen replaced at least 7 times. Of those times, I had brought my phone to Mike at PhoneGeeks to replace its screen about 4 times. I will make the trek to San Leandro (and I live almost 100 miles away) for my phone repair needs because I know PhoneGeeks will take care of it. This last incident, Mike was able to replace my screen, clean my charging port/hole thing, and threw in compatible charging cable/box - all in under an hour and for under $80. Also, shoutout to the girl in the front. I didn't catch her name, though!! She was super nice to us and the customers before us - treating them as if she's known them all her life. My iPhone screen cracked and my husband recommended me to come to this place. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by a woman who told me they can fix my screen, it would be 45 minute wait and that I could drop my phone off and pay when I come back, so I did. When I came back my phone wasn't quite finished and she was very apologetic and sparked up conversation. Her and her husband were super sweet and accommodating, and I found out it was like a mom and pop kind of place. I waiting a while for my phone to finish but I didn't mind because the customer service was on 100% she even gave me a discount and a warranty. I left before my battery was charged and had a message on my phone telling me that I needed to connect to iTunes and that my phone was disabled. I returned two days later to see if they can help and they were more then happy too. connecting my phone to their laptop, restarting my device, letting me use their personal cell phone and trying different ways for my phone to stop being disabled. Unfortunately nothing worked it was my phone carriers problem but the fact that they took time out to help me in anyway that they could was very much appreciated. All I needed was a back glass replacement. Messy job, dude punctured the flash, totally crushed it. Microphone in back is missing, sounds like it is loose inside the phone. I think he opened my phone too because there is one screw missing inside. $100 of mine down the drain... and he also forgot to put two screws in. And didn't use a real apple backing for my phone. Part of the touchscreen on bottom left does not work properly. Took my phone in for a screen repair last week and it was done in about a half an hour and cheaper than most places. That's a 5 Star review alone, but he noticed that my front facing camera was damaged and installed a new one for free. Fast forward a week and my phone completely shuts down and won't charge. I brought my phone back to see if he could fix it or at the very least identify the problem. I left for a bit and when I came back he informed me it was a battery issue and went ahead and replaced it. When he went to hand me my repaired phone I asked him what I would be paying and said don't worry about it and proceeded to hand me my device. I usually don't feel compelled to leave yelp reviews but I will be recommending this spot to everyone I know from here on out. read more

I came here with a shattered iPhone 6s Plus. I met the owner, and his workers. The work was super clean and good quality work -- done by the owner. He's very knowledgeable about all types of phones and his business. It's a friendly chill environment where people could actually hang and chat for a little bit. I still owe them $10 for the tempered glass they installed for me, I just forgot to pay them and remembered 2 days later. The only thing I don't like is the location. They ended up being dishonest about what I needed done. So to begin with, I walked in there because I needed my phone repaired. I needed a new screen because my friend dropped it and the screen has just went completely blank. I had 2 options, I believe. 1 was to get the cheap screen for $65 and the other was for a brand new one for like $90 or something. So I told them I just wanted the $65 one because I didn't plan on having my phone for too long. I got a receipt for exactly what I wanted. Gave them my phone number so they can call me when it'll be done. They said it'll take up to an hour to do it so I said okay. I waited a little over an hour, and just waited a little longer just because I thought they'd call my friends phone that it took a while but it's done. No. I walked in there and it looked as if it's been done since I dropped it off. Never called me to tell me it was done. Which has made it worse, I expected to pay the $65 or something right, NO, I was being charged $90 for a brand new screen. It was not completely what I wanted! The dude tried to make me feel better about it by giving me a glass screen protector and a case. Also, overtime this screen f***ing sucks. Can barely here anyone on the phone anymore, and it doesn't even lock the screen when you are on the phone. I know some of you may think I sound a little cheap for this issue, but the point is that I just needed a temporary fix for a couple days as I get a new phone. That is NOT the way customer service should be. That was just horrible, dishonest, and disrespectful. If I can give thing this half a star, I would. LOL! read more

Came here on a Friday evening, and it wasn't busy at all. I got my cracked iPhone 5s screen repaired for $95, (I wanted the high quality glass) plus a small discount for first timers. I also got free tempered glass for leaving this Yelp review. The repair was done within 30-45 minutes, I left and grabbed something to eat, and it was done when I came back. So I was looking a for a place to repair my phone so I yelp and found this place. So on my lunch break I dropped my phone off. Details on my annoying all phone that only worked 70% of the time. My touch screen totally failed on me. So I was skeptical that if he changed cracked screen that I would still have the problem and it was gonna cost me. Anyways I came and pick up my phone and believe it or not my phone works now at 100% and it cost me less that $70. Working phone and new screen for that price? Cannot beat it.
