I'm SO glad that I came to Phonegeek to repair my phone screen. I was ready to buy a new phone until someone told me that the light sabers I was seeing on my phone was just an issue with the touch screen and not the actual hardware on my phone. They recommended Phonegeek. Mike was fantastic! He was incredibly kind, personable, and professional. His turnaround time was right on point, and the quality of the repair is amazing. My phone looks and works like new! Plus, the service was super affordable. If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would. This place is truly a local gem! read more

I dropped my iPad Pro and cracked the screen. Apple wanted $800 to replace my iPad. Other repair places wanted over $500 to replace the screen. The quote provided by Mike at Phonegeek was much less than other places. Mike was professional, clear with his communication, kept to his promised timeline of the repair and the work he did was flawless. Overall an amazing experience and I have now found my goto place for this kind of work. read more

I had been advised by the Google Store to take my phone to a local repair shop. This was the closest to my home. The guy behind the desk gave me excellent advice, which ended up not making him a dime. Seems the least I can do is leave this Yelp review: this shop is honest. read more

I've brought my phone to Mike at PhoneGeeks three times over the past couple of years for different issues - from a cracked screen to an irreparable charging port. Every time he's been fantastic to work with. I'm on a budget and Mike consistently has the best prices in the area, but what really keeps me coming back is his service. He's an ethical business owner, communicates clearly, and turns repairs around incredibly fast. He always sticks to the ETA he gives, which I really appreciate. He's also just a genuinely nice guy and great to talk with if you have a minute - though if you're in a rush, he's efficient and respectful of your time too. At this point I can't imagine going anywhere else for cell phone repair. Highly recommend PhoneGeeks and Mike. read more

Super nice, honest and helpful. When I called and left a message he actually called me back! I came in and he realized it was actually my camera protector that was broken, not the lens itself. Charged me nothing. But the price he quoted me was super reasonable. Will be back if I need to! read more

This place had very Fast service and at a great price! They were able to fix my iPhone X that was malfunctioning.

Great service, great prices, focused on helping customers and the community. Mike is truly a valuable asset to the community!

Fixed my XS Max screen in 30 mins screen works great no issues, will definitely be back if the future entails.

Replaced my cracked iPad screen. Most competitive rate I could find, did an awesome job, was straight forward with the process (pay a deposit for the part, ordered overnight, fixed the very next day, lifetime warranty for normal Use--ie not going to replace it when I drop it again, but any other issues are covered). Will use again for all future needs. read more

Surprise Surprise my son cracked the screen to Iphone again!! My son found this place to repair his phone. We took it in at around 1 pm phone was ready about 45 min later. Very fast efficient work. They even fixed a separate issue he had with his phone free of charge. Charge was $100.00 for the repair. Parking is kinda hard to find, we had to park down the street, no private parking lot read more

Mike is a gem and PhoneGeeks is a treasure. Don't sleep on them! Located along E 14th next to a haircutter boutique, PhoneGeeks repairs, resets, fixes, replaces, etc. all things phones... and at a really reasonable price! Me, my phone, and the ground (especially gravel) are best friends. I've dropped my iPhone 6S Plus at least 20 times. I've had my screen replaced at least 7 times. Of those times, I had brought my phone to Mike at PhoneGeeks to replace its screen about 4 times. I will make the trek to San Leandro (and I live almost 100 miles away) for my phone repair needs because I know PhoneGeeks will take care of it. This last incident, Mike was able to replace my screen, clean my charging port/hole thing, and threw in compatible charging cable/box - all in under an hour and for under $80. Also, shoutout to the girl in the front. I didn't catch her name, though!! She was super nice to us and the customers before us - treating them as if she's known them all her life. In the end, definitely sealed the deal with this last time and will make the drive to PhoneGeeks whenever I need a repair! read more

My iPhone screen cracked and my husband recommended me to come to this place. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by a woman who told me they can fix my screen, it would be 45 minute wait and that I could drop my phone off and pay when I come back, so I did. When I came back my phone wasn't quite finished and she was very apologetic and sparked up conversation. Her and her husband were super sweet and accommodating, and I found out it was like a mom and pop kind of place. I waiting a while for my phone to finish but I didn't mind because the customer service was on 100% she even gave me a discount and a warranty. I left before my battery was charged and had a message on my phone telling me that I needed to connect to iTunes and that my phone was disabled. I returned two days later to see if they can help and they were more then happy too. connecting my phone to their laptop, restarting my device, letting me use their personal cell phone and trying different ways for my phone to stop being disabled. Unfortunately nothing worked it was my phone carriers problem but the fact that they took time out to help me in anyway that they could was very much appreciated. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs their screen fixed. read more

Hours incorrect on yelp - actually opens 12 noon sundays. Here's a photo of the posted hours. Other than being early (Yelp's fault not the business's), I *LOVE* this place! Mike has helped me with a battery replacement (wouldn't hold a charge), cracked screen, and more. He knows his stuff, beats competitors' prices, and is awesome to work with. You won't be disappointed. read more

Update to my previous review. Mike does not stand behind the quality of his repairs. My screen literally fell off like it was not put back on properly and he refused to fix it without me buying a new battery. I asked for my phone back and left. I would never recomendable a business that does not stand behind the quality of their work. read more

I came in this morning to get a new screen for my iPhone. The guy that helped me was friendly, prompt, and professional. Great job I will definitely keep coming back and I will recommend to family and friends. read more

All I needed was a back glass replacement. Messy job, dude punctured the flash, totally crushed it. Microphone in back is missing, sounds like it is loose inside the phone. I think he opened my phone too because there is one screw missing inside. $100 of mine down the drain... and he also forgot to put two screws in. And didn't use a real apple backing for my phone. Part of the touchscreen on bottom left does not work properly. Not worth the 3hr wait. ******UPDATE: although I went ahead to apple and got a new phone the guy gave me refund so thank you very much dude for your generosity and understanding I really appreciate it***** read more

Took my phone in for a screen repair last week and it was done in about a half an hour and cheaper than most places. That's a 5 Star review alone, but he noticed that my front facing camera was damaged and installed a new one for free. Fast forward a week and my phone completely shuts down and won't charge. I brought my phone back to see if he could fix it or at the very least identify the problem. I left for a bit and when I came back he informed me it was a battery issue and went ahead and replaced it. When he went to hand me my repaired phone I asked him what I would be paying and said don't worry about it and proceeded to hand me my device. I usually don't feel compelled to leave yelp reviews but I will be recommending this spot to everyone I know from here on out. read more

Quoted me $80 for something that I knew was a 20 minute replacement, even when I brought in my own parts. He claimed it was going to take two hours. I later ordered the part myself off eBay and did the repair. It was a six dollar part and it took under 15 minutes. read more

Very fast and friendly service at super affordable prices. The guy had a mask on and they meet you at the door which is super cool. The guy was honest with me upfront and told me that it would cost me more to fix my ipad than what it was worth. read more

Today I went and saw Mike to get my phone screen repaired and I am so grateful and appreciative of his service! I called ahead and asked for a quote on what it would cost to fix a cracked iPhone X screen and he told me $90. I got down there and it took him no more than 15 minutes and he even I installed a screen protector too! Highly recommend going here! Mike is very kind and efficient. Best customer service I've ever had, in any place, period. There was some mishaps that happened but they recuperated and fix everything, even gave me a free case for the inconvenience. Definitely will come back and recommend to others. read more

I came here with a shattered iPhone 6s Plus. I met the owner, and his workers. The work was super clean and good quality work -- done by the owner. He's very knowledgeable about all types of phones and his business. It's a friendly chill environment where people could actually hang and chat for a little bit. I still owe them $10 for the tempered glass they installed for me, I just forgot to pay them and remembered 2 days later. The only thing I don't like is the location. I know he's been there for years but the looks of the shop with bars isn't really the most inviting shop to visit, BUT the work speaks for itself. Keep up the good work. read more

Mike replaced my iPhone 6s battery, did a great job, in & out in about 20 minutes, my phone is working great again, no complaints!

The guy who helped me today was really awesome! Super cool, professional, quick and also a good person! I don't want to give details that might give him trouble with "corporate" or whatever, but hella trustworthy guy!! I appreciated him and his trust in me, as well as being super courteous and considerate after his WiFi was acting up, and generous with helping me out! Whoever that guy is, you are awesome and made my day! Appreciate your help and kindness! Best of luck in life to you man! You don't meet GOOD people anymore, and you're a good guy! Thank you! read more

They ended up being dishonest about what I needed done. So to begin with, I walked in there because I needed my phone repaired. I needed a new screen because my friend dropped it and the screen has just went completely blank. I had 2 options, I believe. 1 was to get the cheap screen for $65 and the other was for a brand new one for like $90 or something. So I told them I just wanted the $65 one because I didn't plan on having my phone for too long. I got a receipt for exactly what I wanted. Gave them my phone number so they can call me when it'll be done. They said it'll take up to an hour to do it so I said okay. I waited a little over an hour, and just waited a little longer just because I thought they'd call my friends phone that it took a while but it's done. No. I walked in there and it looked as if it's been done since I dropped it off. Never called me to tell me it was done. Which has made it worse, I expected to pay the $65 or something right, NO, I was being charged $90 for a brand new screen. It was not completely what I wanted! The dude tried to make me feel better about it by giving me a glass screen protector and a case. Also, overtime this screen f***ing sucks. Can barely here anyone on the phone anymore, and it doesn't even lock the screen when you are on the phone. I know some of you may think I sound a little cheap for this issue, but the point is that I just needed a temporary fix for a couple days as I get a new phone. That is NOT the way customer service should be. That was just horrible, dishonest, and disrespectful. If I can give thing this half a star, I would. LOL! read more

Came here on a Friday evening, and it wasn't busy at all. I got my cracked iPhone 5s screen repaired for $95, (I wanted the high quality glass) plus a small discount for first timers. I also got free tempered glass for leaving this Yelp review. The repair was done within 30-45 minutes, I left and grabbed something to eat, and it was done when I came back. Would definitely recommend this place for screen repairs, you probably won't find anywhere cheaper. My phone feels like it's brand new! read more

So I was looking a for a place to repair my phone so I yelp and found this place. So on my lunch break I dropped my phone off. Details on my annoying all phone that only worked 70% of the time. My touch screen totally failed on me. So I was skeptical that if he changed cracked screen that I would still have the problem and it was gonna cost me. Anyways I came and pick up my phone and believe it or not my phone works now at 100% and it cost me less that $70. Working phone and new screen for that price? Cannot beat it. Oh and they even put on an anti glare screen protector too. Fabulous!!! Thanks Phone geeks read more
