I know what you are thinking...another 5 star review. But that's what you get when you delight the customer. The first awesomeness came to light when researching how to fix my daughters iPad with.a shattered screen. It's been on my list for a year and I never got around to it. Low and behold Yelp has a great feature to get a quote. I entered in my details and eFX was the first to respond with an estimate that came in 45% cheaper than the competitors. Dropped it off on a Saturday afternoon and had it back in my hands by Monday. I would never know it was broken and my kid is a happy camper. Do yourself a favor and let eFX fix your broken device and save some cash. Bonus! There is usually free parking right outside for easy drop off and pick up.

Yelp recommended.

Update: I accidentally messed up settings and thought the problem came back. Fernando took care of it for me. This guys can repair most of the problems related with smartphones, I took my iPhone 7plus because it had Audio problem and they were able to diagnose right away, then I went to pick my iPhone next day and I was ready and fully functional. Now thanks to this guy I'm happy using my phone normally. Edited

Highly recommend eFX for your repair service. They were by far the best priced quote. My son fell on his iPhone while skateboarding, and it shattered catastrophically. eFX did a great job of repairing it and went the extra mile to explain the process to him. Great work and thank you!

Iphone x not turning on getting fixed, fingers crossed

Fixed my non-functional wristband fitness tracker. They were very patient and effective in their approach. The device now works.

Apple told me the logic board was bad and quoted me around $500 for a repair. I thought I was going to have to buy a whole new phone. I decided to get a second opinion from My Emergency Guy, and I'm so glad I did. They took the time to diagnose the problem, explained everything clearly, and repaired my phone for much less than Apple's quote. The communication was honest, professional, and straightforward the whole time. They even applied the diagnostic fee toward the repair, which I really appreciated. My phone is working perfectly again, and they saved me hundreds of dollars. I wanted to share my experience and concerns regarding my data recovery evaluation. I am not…read moresomeone who typically writes negative reviews. I'm about uplifting local businesses. However, because I work in the technology field, I felt it was important to share my experience after taking the time to look further into the situation and to help others going through a similar situation. Initially, I did not jump to conclusions. Instead, I sought additional opinions from other professional recovery companies to better understand available options. That's most important. Before posting this review, I reached out directly to Emergency Guy to give them an opportunity to address my concerns and provide clarification. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response. I came to Emergency Guy seeking guidance after experiencing issues with my HDD and SSD. Overall, the staff and technicians were respectful. However, I did have one interaction with an individual staff member who appeared overwhelmed and frustrated - possibly the owner, Phillip? While that affected the tone of that particular interaction, I understand that these situations can happen. It did not deter me from my overall experience, as I continued working with other staff members who were professional and helped improve the overall tone of the communication. I paidfor an evaluation and assessment, including shipping costs. During a follow-up phone conversation, I was asked over the phone whether I would consider increasing my budget to approximately $2,000 so the HDD could be sent to another company. While I was open to discussing available options, I ultimately decided not to proceed. Approximately four weeks later or longer, I was informed that the HDD platters were damaged and that there was essentially no realistic chance of recovering my data, even through another recovery provider. I was also asked whether I wanted the drive recycled, which I understood as disposing of the device, and I chose not to proceed with that option. I sought additional professional opinions. After receiving a second and third evaluation from other data recovery companies, I was advised that the condition of the HDD did not appear to match the assessment I had originally received. This experience raised concerns about the accuracy of the initial evaluation. Since I paid it, I expected a clear and accurate diagnosis of the drive's condition, along with realistic information regarding possible recovery options. My concern is not that recovery was uncertain -- I understand that data recovery can be complex and that outcomes are never guaranteed. My concern is that I was told it was beyond recovery, yet further evaluations resulted in my data being successfully recovered. My advice to anyone going through a similar situation is to seek multiple professional opinions. I chose Emergency Guy because I believe in supporting local businesses, and I appreciate the services they provide. However, when dealing with important data recovery decisions, it is always wise to consult other qualified professionals. If something does not feel right, take the time to ask questions, gather information, and get additional opinions before making a final decision. If someone becomes dismissive with questions - that's a sign to move on immediately.

One of my external hard drives got corrupted, so I took the risk of sending my HD in for analysis…read more I will say, that recovery was EXCESSIVELY EXPENSIVE. They called me over the phone and gave me an estimate of $200-$1000 for my specific repairs, but when they finally did a full analysis, the estimate shot up to $1400! I was quite shocked and I declined on that offer. Thankfully the rep who was in contact with me the whole time spoke to his manager and we were able to get the price down to about $1000. I still think the service was expensive and it seems that all data recovery services are banking on your desperation and sentimental value of your files. But if you can somehow look past that, they were extremely fast with recovering my data, the rep I had was very kind, understanding and fast to respond to my questions, and all my files are working just fine now. I was a little annoyed that I had to pay for the new HD the files were shipped back on, but it's whatever at this point. I've since invested in a heftier backup system. It's safer, cheaper, and more secure in the long run.

It was just going to be shipped out from there which I could have done if they provided me a shipping label. There was no communication about transit or where in the process of evaluating my hard drive was. I eventually heard back 5 days later that it had arrived. I heard back again 2 days later that it was not going to be recoverable. That sucks, but not their fault. What is their fault is that now I have to pay $40 to get my hard drive back. They only allow for a 2day or express shipping. It's not a free evaluation if you are forcing me to pay you give me back my hard drive.
