My desktop pc temperatures were abnormsl for previously installed included thermal paste so i made a terrible mistake of visiting Ben an the eShack to apply new thermal paste and put back the cpu cooler on it. Computer was working fine before but after visiting Ben where he drenched my AM4 socket with thermal padte upon starting my computer i hearda loud electrical noise with smoke coming out of my motherboard killing both my 350$ ryzen 7 3800x cpu along with my x570-p motherboard. If you dont want your computer to br ruined by Ben id strongly recommend to run far away from this shady business. I am out of 500$ becsuse he ruined my hardware. I really didn't want to write this review but thought it would be beneficial to future customers. I cracked my iPhone XR screen and so it was about time I had it replaced. Ben was able to replace the screen the same day and even include a screen shield! My phone looked brand new :D. Unfortunately, as soon as I got in my car I realized that my rear camera was not working...it was working prior to the screen replacement. I immediately brought the phone back and was told that I'd have the option of replacing the camera part. Given the situation I figured I'd be better off taking my business somewhere else. The service here is great, but after this experience I would rather go to another shop if the quality is going to be hit or miss. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS RIP OFF. My child iPad was charging and simply needed a charging port. The owner He kept the iPad for weeks with no calls of any information or updates. He couldn't even remember that the iPad was ours. He then charged us 120$ and we brought the iPad and it was still not charging. We returned he said he would fix it, another week or two goes by no calls , I called him and he said it's ready come pick up. Then I picked up and tested it in my car still no charge! He said it's not the charging port he then tried to have me spend more money so he could keep it for longer. I told him to charge in front of me so I could prove to him that it wouldn't work, and he wouldn't. He said it's my chargers fault! Lol So he basically took our money, did not fix the iPad , to this day it doesn't charge. I'm 100% sure he probably didn't even install a new charging port. This guy is 100% scam! Life saver. Literally threw my MacBook in the trash because the previous owner put a firmware lock on it. Did a Craigslist search and he popped up. Text him and a quick replay later I was driving an hour to drop my laptop off. He literally unlocked it in 40 min. I broke my ipad's screen. Ben quoted me two day turnaround and $240. Within 5 mins of me fedexing ipad to Ben, he called and said he'd made a mistake and the cost was $340. I told him i would split the difference and he agreed. The next day he called and acted as if we never made the new agreement. Now that my ipad was hostage, i agreed to the $340. He repaired the unit and then missed the fedex pickup time. My unit was lost in fedex for 36 hours until i used 'findmyiphone' to locate it at a fedex depot in Oakland. It eventually arrived a day late. The screen was fixed but the unit would not recognize face id. So i restarted and the ipad would not update or restore. Tried everything for several hours until apple support declared it unfixable. I just spent $1500 on a new ipad. Ben did not refund me the $340. If i could give this guy a -5 star rating I would. read more

I wish i would give 0 star. I brought an iphone to replace the screen, he replaced it with some super cheap aftermarket screen which was so dark, can't even focus on the phone. Then i took it back to him, him said he would make it brighter by changing the backgroud light?! Dont judge a book by its cover! I was hesitant on the location and it not being a well known store at first but the service was super quick and at a really good price! I wentbin for a cracked screen on a galaxy s10 and after getting quoted at 280-380 after calling several spots I was definently pleased when the owner was willing to work with me and only charged me 220! I called to replace my galaxy S9 plus screen and I asked him if it will be water resistant, he said yes and it will only cost 299. I went to drop off my phone and asked him again if it will be water resistant, he said just the front of it, really? I said it is okay let's do it, then he said it will be 325, wow I should have know. Since I was there anyways, I said it is okay let's fix it. It took him the whole day to fix it and I asked my wife to pick it up. when I got my phone the back of it was lose, I could have done better job then him. Really disappointed in this place. Wanted to get my PS4 fix but just paid this guy to babysit my PS4. I pick it up took it to my house trying to play it and it had the same issue. When back and ask him that it wasn't working his responds was that he was not responsible to get fix I was so confused. I told him that on his Ticket It said I had a 30 day warrant. Been doing business with Ben K. For many years havent bought a new phone because when i brake it Ben fixes it just like i first bought it!!! Happy that hes still in business because he moved and i freaked out when i went to his old location!!! (Last week) so im glad i found his new location (current place). To get to his office you must go upstairs. Hes saved me a lot of money i dont believe in buying new phones just because its the new samsung or iphone im not with trends but without Bens Services i probally woulda been hustled into buying a new phone which i wouldnt do. Not a good place to have your electronic devices fixed. He gives you the run around and not sure if he knows what the hell he is doing. He says he is able to fix your device when in reality he has no clue on repairing that specific item and just wants to take your money. He takes his time trying to figure out what to do/how to repair your device and may take a week or so before you see your device again. When you take your device for repairs, you can almost expect and be certain that he will remove the working parts and install old non working parts and then blames you for it, and still the initial issue not being fixed. Very shady business and not trustworthy. Try taking your devices to the company authorized shops or other credible repair shops because they provide warranty for their work, they do not mess around with your good working components, and sometimes even charge less than this guy.
