Yeah I could have ordered a replacement Soft OLED from MobileSentrix and done it myself, but I would have spent more money DIY than just having Brian do it because time has value too y'know. Warning!!! He promised me he would fix my iPhone 13. Well he put in a budget fake screen that does not work. It flashes inverted colors constantly throughout the day and drains the battery because it overheats the phone. When I went back to ask for a repair he wasn't there so I called the number as there was a note on the door that said to call him. Holy cow that is when things took an insane turn. He started yelling at my all sorts of expletives. I hung up and he called back repeatedly. I answered and told him he was harassing me and to not contact me. Then he had an even more crazy out burst of expletives. This guy is a maniac and legitimately scares me. I've had to block his number he has been calling me back so many times. The owner overcharges and is verbally abusive to potential customers. It's disappointing to see such behavior from a small business, and this kind of harassment shouldn't be tolerated. Unfortunately, things took an unexpected turn when the owner verbally attacked someone because they were wearing a 'Kamala Harris: Future President' t-shirt. His outburst, filled with profanity--'Get out of my F-ing store, you F-ing Bitch!'--shocked both me and others around for its sheer unprofessionalism. I tried to steer clear of any political talk, but the owner went on a rant, calling a potential customer brainwashed and accusing Democrats of killing millions. We calmly reminded him that we live in a country where I can freely express myself--wear what we want, vote how we choose--and ended the conversation. As the woman was leaving, he became more hostile, escalating to profanity and intimidation. As someone who won't back down from raising awareness, I feel it's important to share my experience. On top of the rude encounter, he quoted me $548 for the repair. I later went to another store and was quoted just $250 for the same service. Lesson learned: if you're wearing a Kamala Harris shirt, you might face a verbal attack and an inflated price. Proceed with caution read more

My opinion, my $.02: This guy is unfriendly and that is an understatement. I literally called 911 afraid he was going to resort to something crazy like physical harm AND say I wasnt going to pay him because I kept trying to pay just to get out and he wouldnt let me out so he could verbally barrage me (AND in my haste he ripped me off because I paid for a new screen protector AND a camera lens protector but didnt get the latter - $54 for a screen protector !!) A N D he began yelling at me for being friendly and making conversation which he was offended by. My opinion: he doesnt like women with freedom. He is dangerous in my opinion (because I was scared enough to call 911) and this is a public service announcement. Some in the comments experienced similar. He is scary enough in friendly customer interaction (ie when a customer like me is being friendly, God knows what he'd be like in a situation with an aggressive customer) that I had to call 911. Brian has great reviews on Yelp. I am not ready to buy the latest iPhone as my iPhone 11 Pro Max is still fulfilling all my needs. But of course, the battery needs to be constantly plugged in. Brian changed my battery within a half an hour and charged me the equivalent of what Apple would charge at their store. I didn't have to wait and that was important. He also changed the screen protector on my iPhone with a correct size one. I have purchased this on Amazon and supposedly it would fit my phone. Not exactly but OK. No it's 100% protected. This was a courtesy and I was not charge. It was also fun to watch him replace the battery and I am so glad I did not buy a battery and try to do it myself . I had visited Brian before in September of 2023 as I has having an issue with my iPhone 8 Plus mic, which had stopped working. I'd had the port replaced by another third party vendor in the Mission when I had initially bought the phone used off Swappa.com, to whom I had taken it when and been told that the port was corroded and would no longer work with wired headphones. Brian completed the replacement of the port under the estimated time and showed me that part of one of the flat cables was partially split, which was why the mic wasn't working. I don't know how that happened, as my initial replacement with the other vendor fixed the problem, so I doubt they had damaged it during their work. Anyways, the replacement port that Brian installed in September 2023 worked great for several years, but as we're all familiar with Apple's fascistic control over their products, a recent update had detected that the port in my phone was not an OEM Apple product, and refused to interact with it. Brian ordered an Apple OEM port, again completed the installation under the estimated time, and my mic was working again! Many thanks, Brian! I became aware of iPhone Repair Care+'s (IRC+) people in 2016 when I had just stepped out of the Apple store which was in Emeryville, California, which had just told me that there was "no repair" for my pretty much never-used iPad. Although I was upset, desperate, and "did not know what to do", I stopped and chatted with one of them and guess what - he repaired the iPad! - while I WAITED! HellOo! I continue to go to only them - now in Berkeley and not Emeryville - for all of my iPhone servicing, which has been for a number of devices and a considerable number of times. IRC+ is very professional - and is very accommodating to and it is personable with its customers - on the telephone - yes! - they answer the phone! - and in person. I continue to be confident about IRC+'s services; feel that "if they can't fix it, no one can", in which case I would just move on; and be trusting of it - and very satisfied with its services and the results thereof. If I ever had to leave a device overnight, it was only once. You could not ask for more accommodating hours. It gets only better! - rather unusual these days! It is indoors - and centrally located, easy to get to, clearly marked, and has very-close-to-the-front-door free parking - imagine THAT in the Bay Area!
