He heard her say to her friend that she liked it so he pulled the plastic off and sent her over to the register, never told her the price, rang it up, and did not give a receipt. Says go to Apple Store and get $700 trade in for new phone. WRONG! Apple trade in $175 because of blank screen. So screwed! I have an iPhone 11 and wanted to fix a cracked screen. The gentleman working the booth said that he could do it for $170 so I agreed to it since I wanted to get the phone fixed and then trade it in at Apple and upgrade to the iphone 13. It was a big mistake. After an hour, I received the phone after payying $188 after tax. The screen glass looked nice however right away I saw that the the systems icon had a red alert, then by clicking on it I found that the phone screen was not a genuine apple part and there was no way to remove the warning. The guy told me "don't worry about it, the phone works". Well he was wrong! Now anytime I try and zoom out using two fingers on apps like Waze, the phone starts going bonkers. It randomly opens apps and even calls people on the contacts list. Its like the phone is possessed with a mind of its own. After googling the problem, I found out that this is a common problem when the display screen is not a genuine apple product and that there was no way of fixing this without replacing the display glass again by an authorized apple dealer. To make things worse now I can't even trade in the product for the upgrade because I have a display screen that's not a genuine Apple product. This was a big mistake on my part and I will never go back here again or to any other places like this. Do yourself a favor and go to an apple genuine store instead for screen fixes. read more

BIG MISTAKE do not ever order from these people and read reviews wisely. Went to the mall with my mom to the apple store to see the problem with my phone (The screen didnt work) and went to see how much it cost at the apple store (390) and we decided rather to wait till next time to pay for it. We soon later on were walking around and went to see this store and wondered how much it cost to pay for my iphone 13 pro. The man with black hair and a mustache told us various prices but the biggest price was going to be 399 for the screen to be fixed and the man offered to open my phone to see if it was fixable or unfixable for free and that he would call us to see if it was fixable or unfixable and that he would tell us when we went back to the store if we wanted to continue further and that he would fix it. We waited 30 minutes and walked around the mall and once the 30 minutes were up, we came back to the store and he smirked and said jokingly "Dont tell apple I fixed it or they'll get mad" and me and my mom looked at eachother confused and she asked " You fixed the phone?" and he nodded and she was asking him how much it would cost and he said 390. We remembered that he specifically told us he would "Only check if it was unfixable or fixable for FREE" not that he would FIX IT. He kept gaslighting my mom and lying that he said he would fix it even thought HE KNEW we asked him to only check if it was fixable or not. Not to fix it.!. We ended up having to pay the price due to lack of time but right now i just checked my phone and he put a unknown screen part on my phone and now my phone has a notification message saying its a unknown part. My teen has an iPhone 11 with screen damage that stopped responding to touch. Part of the frame was slightly bent too. While Face ID was working before the latest screen damage incident, there was a possibility it was impacted by the last damage, but we didn't know as we couldn't swipe to test Face ID anymore. We got the teen a new iPhone 13 at the Apple store. Took the broken 11 to one of the Fix N Gadgets stalls nearby. They fixed it quickly. They repair, while you shop, which is a great idea. We took it home reset the phone and noticed it wouldn't let us set up Face ID. Took it back to the main Fix N Gadget shop. I Met Nick there and explained the situation. He spent more than an hour trying different screens, adjusting the components inside the phone, and confirming no direct damage to the Face ID hardware inside. He got the phone to a point where it lets me set up Face ID. All without charge. I'm impressed by Nick's exceptional service. Thank you very much. Nick has been doing this for over 20 years and hopes he keeps doing this for 20 or more years if he feels like it.
