I had made an appointment with the Apple Store to replace the battery in my iPhone 8, with the assurances that they would have the battery I needed in stock. When I arrived at my appointment, the "genius" looked at me and said, on no, we don't have that battery. On my way out of the mall, I saw the Fix N Gadgets kiosk and stopped by. Rick ywas so great, he told me that he would have my battery replaced within 35 minutes. And he did! I picked up my phone in perfect working order and he had even cleaned it! This was my 2nd time going there. My sister was visiting from Canada and we went to the beach and she dropped her brand new Samsung S22 into the water. It was working for a couple minutes and then it went blank! I tried putting it in rice for a fews day but to no avail! I am about a week overdue on this review. I recently had a catastrophic failure of my wife's Pixel 6 pro, a phone that is a couple of years old. We purchased an Iphone to replace it and assumed because my wife backed up her phone regularly that all of her previous data was in the cloud and would be accessible that way. Turned out it was not the case. Begin "panic mode" my wife had a number of messages and data that would not be recoverable from the cloud. I contacted Nik here at Fix n Gadgets told him my story, he didn't promise anything and told me what he could do. But due to the age it was not a sure thing. I was desperate and he could have easily gouged me for some insane rate (i would have probably paid) anyway, he said he would check his stock and probably have my phone back to me by Wednesday (this was a Saturday night). Well next morning Nik called me and said they had got my phone repaired and I could pick it up that day. ROCKSTAR!!!!. I was able to get the data off the phone with a working screen. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing phone repair. I don't know if you will be able to get 24 hour turn around like I got but I was very happy with my outcome. read more

Went here to get my screen changed immediately after when I tried to pay for my service my Apple Pay "tap" didn't work . I let the man who helped me know that I had previously used it at another store and I worked per fine, he said it would work once I restart my phone (it was closing time by then so I didn't argue and just left). The following day I tried it at multiple store and still didnt work so I went back to the mall and told them. Two other men argued with me and said it had nothing to do with the screen but when one of them (most likely the owner) changed it for another new screen the Apple Pay worked perfectly fine again. The screen worked fine until a couple days later I was not able to hear through the speaker when I received a call, the screen glitched on me, and the Apple Pay stopped working again. I went back and let them know what was happening they blamed me for it and I asked them to switch it back to my original broken screen since that is the only one my phone didn't have problems with (in the beginning they said I had 30 days to come back if something went wrong) I was back within the 30 days and had my original screen put back on and did not receive a refund or partial refund at least after paying $170 for this and continuously having problems and having to waste gas driving back to the mall multiple times AND not having my screen changed or fixed at the end. read more

I had my daughters iPhone 10 screen replaced for 143.32 (after tax) and after about 35 days it died. Phone works cause it vibrates when you call it but the screen he replaced is dead. Took it there and they guy at the booth refused to fix it cause it was "past the 30 day warranty". Clearly the quality of the screen he is using is no good. Worst part is we're from the same country. If I could give it a negative star I would! Came to this place on Wednesday and got my iPhone 12 max pro screen replaced and 3 days later it doesn't work. It started with my screen disappearing and then an internal crack so I went back to the store and they told me no refunds because my screen cracked. They claimed my phone dropped and that was not the case. I even placed a screen protector when I purchased it and the screen protector was 100% fine. This was something defective from the screen. They won't replace it or refund my money. THIS PLACE IS A SCAM! Would definitively not recommend this place to no one! In addition if you go to the other fix n gadgets in the mall, they will give you different pricing. Save yourself from a scam and avoid this place at all costs! read more

I took my ipad here to get fixed a year ago, and they did an amazing job. I came back today to get a new tempered privacy screen protector which wasn't as expensive as other places have been. they also threw in a discounted case for my phone and discounted lens protector, along with a free charger. Great experience - My iphone screen was damaged and had issues with touch screen not being responsive. I was looking to replace the screen initially with Apple who said it would cost $350 and all new iphones were out of stock due to semi shortage. While I was walking back disappointed I came across this shop and walked in and asked about screen replacement. Ricky was candid, quick, responsive and got my phone screen fixed in 30 mins for just $100. He also did not charge me for the newer OLED screen b/c the regular LED was not in inventory. Worst place do yourself a favor and just go to Apple or Bestbuy I went here on a Thursday to fix my cracked screen that still worked, the guy replace it it looked good then it started to go in and out I took it back and the guy blamed me that I dropped it that's why my screen went black and wouldn't do anything, and offer to fix it again for half the price seems like a scam fix it wrong the first time then offer a discount the 2nd. When I went to Apple they pointed out the corner was lifted from not being installed correctly and they sealed it with the wrong material. Like I said go to Apple it's 350 to get it done correct with warranty and a certify Apple approve screen verses these cheap knockoffs for $270 the extra money is worth it. read more

Worst experience ever. I submitted them to repair my daughter's iPad mini for a power and boot issue over the weekend. They think it's a battery and should have it ready by Monday. They'll call or email me when ready or status update. I haven't heard from them and try calling them through Apple Maps and the number listed is no longer in service. Yelp doesn't have their support contact information. So I rode into the store and they claim there are issue with the power chip and will be finish the following day. They ask for my number again and I gave them, the 2nd time. The next day came and went and no information status. No call back. Tried calling them on the receipt 925-425-7400 and it just rang for about 3 min before it ask you to enter an access pin. Another weekend has gone by and no email or answer. I will be going to them again this event after work to hear what other excuse they have. read more

Going on my third time replacing the same screen within 2 months with them. These screens are faulty I wouldn't recommend going here . They tried to charge me $120 then dropped it down to $80 and after I said put my original screen I bought from you back on they dropped it down to $50 they was going to charge me extra for me wanting to keep my screen I paid them for in December .
