I broke the screen on my phone on my way to take a hike. We had some time before friends came and saw that this place had VERY high reviews. Perfect timing. Unfortunately, I got to the shop at 11A (opening time), and no one was there. I made a call to the shop only to be told that they were running late. It happens. But, he said because he was running an errand for his wife, he would not be there for at least an hour and if I can come back. Although I'm positive they do great work, I cannot be a customer. Ryan is Houdini when it comes to fixing all types of electronic devices....not just phones! This is my 2nd 5 star review in less than a year. Last time he fixed my water damaged iphone in a couple hours when no one else could. This time, I went in because my cell phone had been run over by a car after i dropped it loading groceries. Took it in and he ordered parts and next day in 1 hour my screen and camera were fixed! At a price that is 80% less than a new phone would have been. BUT THEN I mentioned my audio drivers in my laptop were fried and the laptop company, who tried everything on phone with me, wanted me to send it back East for 10 days. He told me to bring it in and in less than 5 minutes he figured out a way to make the microphone work again! BUT THATS NOT ALL! I been here a couple of times. I believe the owner is Ryan who has worked on my cracked iPhone before. He was quick and really nice. It was a walk in which was great because I honestly didn't have my time to take my phone to Apple and wait for hours I was in an out in less then 15 mins and the cost was only around $104 I saved hours of my time just going here. I went there 2 more times another times my iPad was cracked and Chris was the one to work on it he was really nice about it too. This time I dropped the iPad and came back the next day to pick it up reasonable price. I would recommend this place to anyone short on time and does not have hours to spend at Apple and in those crazy lines they are really quick and the prices are reasonable. Very bad experience. I brought in my sons iPhone because the charging port wasn't fully holding the lightning cable. Technician stated we needed a new port and it would cost $50. He replaced the port and we paid. After leaving we noticed the phone was shutting down and acting erratic. We decided go take it to Apple, who stated that motherboard on our 13 month old phone was fried and we needed a new phone. We took it back to R&S, but he refused to even look at it and said it wasn't his fault. No accountability, no customer skills. So now we are out $50 and the costs of a new iPhone. I would recommend going somewhere else that doesn't destroy your phone. read more

My daughter's IPhone 5 phone stopped charging, so I went to Verizon and they told me the pins on the charger port were almost all stripped and that it needed to be replaced. They could not fix it because the warranty expired. They then referred me to Mobile Device Repair in Dublin. I went there and the kid told me he thought the price was $50 for a new port and then he went into the computer and then said it was $74 after tax. I never had a cell phone fixed so I just figured it was the going rate. It was Saturday and he said the guy who repairs them will be in on Monday to fix it. I then come in on Monday and then they told me they are out of ports and have to order one. He said it will be here on Wednesday. Wednesday comes and they call me and said the part has not come in yet. He now said the part could come as late as Friday. I come in on Friday and the part is still not in yet. Now I am super pissed. They then called me on Saturday and said my phone is ready. I come in and they have no charger to show me if my phone charges or not. Finally after 10 minutes they find one. The phone does charge now, but the phone speaker now does not work. They said the port is defective and it would take 3 to 5 days to get another port. I was furious. I asked for my money back and then left. This is the same place that got 4 out of 5 stars on Yelp. $74 for this horrible service. Not happy! I was then desperate and the closest place was R&S Cellular Solutions, which only got one star on Yelp. I called and the owner told me to come on by and he would help me. I got there near closing time and he said don't worry I will stay after working hours to help you out and get your phone up and running. He only charged me $45, which was $30 cheaper then Mobile Device Repair charged me. He was really down to earth and really wanted to do his best to help me. I was how the heck did this guy only get 1 star on yelp. He provided great customer service with a great price and the phone is working perfect now. I am so grateful that I found this shop. I will only go here from now. I need to get my Ipad 2 screen fixed and he quoted me price that was $30 cheaper then I got quoted from Mobile Device Repair in Dublin. I completely busted my iphone screen and needed it fixed ASAP because its my only phone that I use for business. Every hour I am offline costs me money. I stopped by the local ATT store and was really dissapointed by how long it would take and also how much it would cost to get my iphone 4S back up and working.
