Last December, I managed to destroy my iPhone 15 pro max. Took it to the Genius Bar at Apple Stoneridge and they told me it was beyond repair and I'd have to buy a new phone. I meant to update back in July 2022 when I needed repair for a cracked screen on my iPhone 11. I stepped on it while packing - lesson learned, don't leave your phone sitting on the driveway. Alex came out to my home and was done in less than 20 min... I was thrilled he was able to make it out so quickly as we were leaving on a month long cross country road trip and wanted to make sure my phone stayed functional while traveling. The screen seemed in perfect condition though I did notice a few issues with having to tap the screen several times and the face recognition didn't work as well.. and figured an update was needed. The issues improved a little with an update and assumed that was the issue. Not long after I had what looked like a small scratch and didn't think much.. Long story short, that small scratch grew and eventually with the screen lit brightly it looked like a hairline crack. I remembered the year warranty and messaged Alex. He had me bring it into his office. Happy to say, I brought it in today and he replaced the screen for me FREE of charge. Good as new. My screen tap and face recognition work like my original screen long ago! So the screen likely was defective as I hadn't dropped it or gotten it wet.
