There is so much inconsistency in leadership, (file per file vs. file per box) then to switch to re-doing data entry because the brown nosers decided with the client it would be a better way to enter the info. Seemed more like job security if you ask me. And if IF you get injured because you are expected to lift file boxes above shoulder level on palettes repeatedly (I lifted a total of 1 ton of boxes over a week period). I had let my supervisor know that I hurt my back. She did not tell me to go to the doctor, leave work early nothing. It wasn't til I went to ER on Sat, and told her again that I hurt myself. She told me to go see their doctor the following Monday (why she didn't do that on Friday when I notified her, which of course she claimed I did not notify her immediately, even co-workers knew I hurt myself) Not only did I injure my back, they expected me to return, which I didn't. Had to get an attorney, only to get misely money that to this day, 2 years later I am still dealing with back & hip pain. I was told I may have this pain the rest of my life! So, if you temp working for them, ok, but keep it at that, do not get hired by them. Hard work means jack, it's who you know & brown nose with. Heaven forbid you rub them the wrong way, they will target you, pull the boxes you keyed, say it was keyed wrong, go back and fix it (I never had any problems til this one supervisor got on our shift) Terrible employer!

If you're considering working for this place here are several reasons to consider before you apply…read moreor accept an offer from the data entry department especially if you're black or even worse, a black woman. For starters, the first mistake they made was the change of supervisors. They went from a solid supervisor who seemed to be very level headed and fair to a real snake. I started back in December and the new snake has only been in power for about 3 weeks or but it didn't take very long at all to realize this snake is very bit of shady. It oozes off of her like sparkles off diamonds & common sense isn't so common with her. She's one of those snakes that is so fake and so phony she doesn't realize that the more she tries to mask her shadiness (& she tries so hard), the more it shows & she wasted absolutely no time to start 'cleaning house'. She's fired 3, 4 including myself, people in her short reign who all just 'happen' to be black women. Ironic? Coincidence? I doubt it. It appears this snake has a bit of a racial complex & does a pathetic job trying to hide it. Rumor around the office is she has a bad habit of making comments about cultural issues when it comes to any kind of conflict that involving a black woman. I guess the only time us black women speak up is to be confrontational. Not because we had a point to stand on like continuing to ask why is there no training being given for this work? Or why do workers get blamed for following instructions OR how do you expect people to do their jobs when the directions are not clear from the beginning. The boxes are always mislabeled, the job specs we're supposed to read never go with what's supposed to be really done and how come the 'click' (a.k.a: management) is aware of this yet nothing ever gets done about it? Those are the kinds of questions that get you fired - as far as black women go anyway. Management or the click have the audacity to make announcements like, "we know some of the boxes are labeled incorrectly, but we need you guys to really get things done anyway OR they say, "read your job specs! Read your job specs" to guide you on what to do, but after reading it over and over you still have no clue what's going on, not because you can't understand, but because IT NEVER APPLIES TO THE BOX or what you should really be doing. After reading it several times & if you're lucky enough, you're able to pry one of the members of the click away from their very important business of gossiping and giggling about other people around the room while they 'act' like they're 'so busy' to help you, IF they help you & never not without making it obvious that you are seriously bothering them by expecting them to DO THEIR JOBS, by the time they explain or find out (along with you) what's going on, it sure as hell doesn't have a thing to do with the job spec they've been telling you to read thru. How do they expect people to get things done when the directions aren't or even relevant to the box at all? And don't get me started on the conflicting information that comes from people who are supposed to be on the same 'team' or in this case the same 'click'. Ask two people the same question about the same job and 9 times out of 10 you're going to get two conflicting answers & heaven forbid a box gets keyed incorrectly. I could go on and on about this twilight zone/looney tunes place that's supposed to be a professional business but I'll save the rest of that of that for my next review. My advice is think twice before you get caught up with this place, there's an awful lot of shady business that goes on inside those walls. & if you're a black woman, consider this a warning and step with caution. There are a few exception individuals on the helping team that none of this applies to, they were actually really friendly and cool to work with, there's about 3 of them, a Black woman, a Latin woman and an Asian man, they know who they are & they were really cool to work with. There's another man who is a part of the 'click' by association but he would actually help you out whenever he could and he'd never bring a bad attitude like some of the people in his click, with him or try to push you off onto the next person. He was ok too. As for the rest of them, and the new snake of a manager, these people made going to work much like them, a real pain in the ass. The one good thing about this job, the hours 4:45am to 1:15pm. Pretty sweet hours.
