First time here and I was definitely satisfied with the whole experience! From the moment I called to check availability they were very polite, they even called me to let me know something opened up sooner! I got a full set and pedi done ! They treat their customers like royalty here I was really impressed with the customer service! Jeniza nails has won over my business! I will definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family! read more

Jeniza Nails - My nails came out so cute! - Nail Salons Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I've been looking for an amazing nail place in Phoenix for a long time and I finally found it! I was able to get an appointment within an hour of calling and everybody was so nice and welcoming when I came into the salon. This was my first time getting acrylic and I was nervous but everyone there was so nice and helpful! They listen to what I wanted shape wise and also had the color I wanted! All the employees were having fun and laughing with customers! Anthony did my nails but I would recommend everyone there! Anthony was so nice and did a stunning job. I can't wait to come back for my fill! You definitely made a new regular customer! read more

When i first got there, the ladies made it so obvi that they were talking about me. Then the lady doing my pedicure was very gentle on trying to take off my calluses. She hardly paid any attention because she was talking the entire time to her coworkers. On top of everything, she did such a horrible job on my toes. I might as well had my 4 yr old niece paint them read more

I made an appointment for SNS and still had to wait quite a while to get started. An "appointment" is more like call-ahead seating than a reservation. Not including the wait, the service itself took 1:45 minutes. (Twice what it should have taken)Two days later three nails chipped at the tips. I filed two down really short, but one was really bad and uneven. I went back and asked for repair of one nail- the guy laughed at me and said he was booked all day. I wouldn't go back here. read more

I waited 40 minutes for a $20 fill/trim. By the time I was seen to, I found out that I'd be charged $5 extra to have the old polish removed. Lolololol no. You have to remove the polish to do the fill so how is that not part of the job? I walked out. read more

This was my first time coming here it's a very small and quite place. Michelle did my nails the pedi was just ok but my nail set she took her time and I was very happy. I've been to many places and a lot of time I just deal with it. Michelle listened and gave me what I wanted. A friend originally told me about her and after seeing her nails I was impressed. I will be returning for sure. read more

I'm very particular about where I choose to have nails done. I was in a pinch and a friend recommended Rose here. Rose wasn't working that day so I had another nail tech. It's been less than a week and I've lost 2 nails from my gel mani. The pedicure was sub-par at best. Needless to say, I will not be back. Very dissatisfied. read more

Jeniza Nails - 2 nails gone in less than a week - Nail Salons Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I have been trying to go to this salon for many weeks. The guy that does nails there is not good. His full set he did for me, fell off in less than two weeks. I called on Monday of this week and set an appt for today....Friday. They called me last minute and told me Holly has a bad back and cannot work. And the only person is a guy, its the same guy that did a crappy set for me before. Every time I go in here the place is empty. What gives? I wait a week for an appt and it gets cancelled? Weak. Do not recommend. They need to beef up their staff with people that can make it to work and work all day. Not depend on one person to run their shop. Ridiculous. This is NOT a recipe for success. Will not be returning. read more

I had an amazing first time here, I was a walk in for pedicure and was sat right away, Van and another young girl were very helpful. I had gotten my nails done at another place but wasn't able to drive all the way back for a pedicure, I had asked van to get me a color as close to my nail color, and she tried very hard to find a good match, I understood they might not have the exact same color since it was at a different salon and I told her it was ok if it was slightly darker or lighter. She was amazing, she didn't get upset that I had very ticklish feet, she assured me it was ok, I know some technicians get annoy about that but she kept telling me it was ok. I absolutely love her and all the ladies there, they were very nice. I will definitely be coming back. read more

Amazing service. I went to Jeniza just because they were close but it was a great choice. My tech, Le, did an awesome job on my mani and pedi. I haven't gotten my nails professionally done in six plus months and it was obvious that I needed help. Le did not hesitate to jump in and get me fixed up. In addition to everything else, she gave me the best hand and foot massages I have ever gotten. I will be coming back again and hopefully to see Le so she can work her magic once more. read more

Hanna did a great job on my regular pedicure and gel manicure! She was very friendly. The place was very clean and well lit and they have TONS of nail polish colors to pick from. Best part is that I was in and out in a hour, given complimentary water, and if you pay in cash, you get a 5% discount. YAY! For my regular pedi and gel manicure was like $52 + tip. Very reasonable. read more

Still place is a thug thief place. Not only did they do my nails, each one of them were different shapes, and one literally broke shortly after leaving the salon. What's the worst is I gave cash & was supposed to get back my change. The nail technician said , "no change". Ummm, no woman you are going to give my change & since you not only messed up my nails & now trying to take my money. Ummm no. read more

I came in 35 min before they were closing (like a real jerk) and they still took me. He didn't rush and did a great job. I got the PediPro which was amazing and a very good deal ($38). I will be back for sure read more

I've been coming here for about eight years. They have exemplary customer service and always stay on top of the trends. They don't have a high turnover of employees which speaks volume to me. The owners work their salon and treat their employees with respect. Very clean, very professional, very friendly! Reasonable prices too. Highly recommend! read more

I'm so torn!!! I've come here once before, but that time it was really busy and they didn't have time for a basic mani. I get that. But the customer service could've been better. The lady at the front desk just yelled out to see who could do a mani, no body could so I just left. My most recent visit was a little better, but why does their customer service have to suck so bad. I would have given this place a two, but the gal who did my nails (basic mani) did a good job and my color is still on and it's almost a week later! Prices are cheap and have plenty of selection of nail colors. I probably won't be back unless I didn't have any other choice of salon. But I could tell they had their regulars which is probably a good sign, just wasn't my cup o' tea. read more

I have never been more impressed with a nail salon in my life. I went in with my sister and my cousin today and I immediately felt at home, I felt accepted and cared for the whole time. There was no pressure for anything (I have experienced this from other nail salons my whole life) and I was treated with kindness and my nails have literally never looked better (gel manicure). Jeniza and Anthony laughed with us and Jeniza even put on a little show for us and sang for us with her Bluetooth microphone. I will never go anywhere else again. read more

i went here thinking i was going to have at least a three star experience at jeniza nails, but what i got was barely even a one. i am genuinely upset, considering i paid my good money for a pedicure. i should have known when i walked in and they had so much availability. i told the lady that the layers were too thick and they looked gummy. she redid them but the next time she did them they were still just as bad as before. i deserve a discount for the emotional trauma. read more

Went in for a dip manicure--Took an hour and a half and after 1 day TWO nails chipped. Went in the next day to get them fixed and Jerrie was very condescending. After one week, every single nail chipped. I have been getting dip for 5 years and just moved to the area....i have never had a worse nail experience and then not last. read more

I come here for gel nails. I don't know how, but the gel nails I get here look the best, last the longest, and destroy my nails the least out of the 10+ places I've had gels done in Phoenix. The waiting area is a little cramped and I wish all nail salons would present gel colors in a better way than that weird plastic rolodex of fake nails, but I will keep coming back to this place because I'm lazy and clumsy and bright nails make me happy. Plus it's next to a Chipotle and a Total Wine. I could pretty much live next to a nail salon, a Chipotle, and a Total Wine and never leave the thirty yard radius of my house, so I'm a fan. read more

Hannah is the rudest nail tech I've ever had. Some days, she won't speak at all, others she will ask a question then mock you. The salon is dirty and crowded. I've given them too much money and time for the service I received in return. read more

Tried this new spot for a gel mani today. Pros: clean, modern, great gel collection Cons: the lady doing my nails decided to take the polish off me after applying it and drying it on my left hand. Also my nails are rough and not filed smoothly.. I would go back again and try another nail tech. Possibly. read more

Today was my 2nd time at Jeniza Nails. I've typically gone on days/times where it's not super busy, so I'm able to walk in, and am quickly accommodated within 5-10 minutes! They are extremely clean, taking precautions that I haven't seen at other nail salons yet. My technician today was Le, who was gentle but thorough. I have a tricky left great toe (due to surgery years ago), and she's probably the first person to ever fix up the nail flawlessly. It's been months since my feet felt this soft; and she was extremely gentle (but thorough) with my cuticles. I will definitely be going back for my manis/pedis; last time they also did an awesome job with my gel nails! Ask for Le!! read more

I have been to sooo many salons. And I won't be back to this one..which sucks bc the location is perfect for me. I got a polish change and left w some lumpy nails and some crooked ones..I showed her my crooked one and she literally like turned my finger to make it seem like it wasn't like, for real??? Also went back to get one fixed and they had no patience to find the exact color..sorry but I don't want one nail to be a different color-even it it's not that much different..too ratchet!! Customer service is not their strength, the lady doing my nails seemed annoyed to be doing it and half the time wasn't paying attention. The water was really cold then way too hot. I upgraded to the Coconut Milk Foot Bath with an extra 10 minute massage, she just mindlessly ran her hands over the top of my foot the entire time just chatting with the other ladies or staring off into space. The nail job was sub par, she didn't clean up around my nails too well and the top tip of the nail is not painted, lack of attention to detail drives me crazy... The chair was way too close to the front so my feet were all bunched up on top of each other when they were in the water. A customer walked in and they all started talking to each other and staring at her, made me feel uncomfortable, I just wanted to get out of there! read more

I am so glad to found this place! The nail techs were very nice and attentive. Highly recommend not coming here....I've NEVER EVER gotten such a bad paint job in the 18827474 times I've got my nails done. I couldn't even believe how horrible it is. Not even 24 hours EVERY SINGLE ONE is chipped. Let's just day that's ALL my fault (ya right, it was ruined within hours, I'm not a lumberjack, I was at a Valentine's Day dinner, there's no way they should be chipped that soon) even if that's not the case, you can see the uneven layered paint! It was on my toes and hands but I'm not uploaded the toes the hands are already embarrassing enough read more

I have gone here for years as my primary nail shop and as my fall back. I've seen Rose she is the best. She is meticulous and takes her time. She is amazing at polishing and anytime I go somewhere else I compare the polish job to hers. She does great regular and gel manicures. She's also good at pedis but not as good as she is at manicures probably because the massage could be stronger. There are a few other ladies in here I have tried that are good as well but there are a few that are not. I will always go here when I can get Rose. She's off Wednesday and Sunday. read more

I've had a few mediocre experiences here before. But this last experience really put the nail in the coffin for me. My friend scheduled an appointment for us to get gel manicures together. They sat us on opposite sides of the business so we couldn't even have a conversation. My technician was not friendly or conversational and didn't even listen or try to understand what I was saying about how I wanted my nails to be shaped. They just did their own thing. The worst part was I was finished before my friend even finished getting her nails shaped. So it was either meet her later or sit and wait for her to be finished and the waiting area is kind of too small for anyone to be sitting and waiting. Overall just a bad experience, one so off-putting that I will not only not recommend people to, but try my best to steer people away from now on. Overall, very disappointing. read more

Hands down the worst service I have ever had at a nail salon. The staff were yelling at one another the entire time I was there. I asked for a color change, was given French tips, and when I reiterated that I came in for a color change, the tech became upset. When I walked up to pay, the tech who painted my nails took my card and said "How much you tip me?". I was going to tip but the rude questioning paired the the awful atmosphere of the salon and the inability to compete a color change was beyond off putting. I will never come here again or recommend this place. read more

I'm giving this score because they were not friendly. They acted as though they were doing me a favor. The lady doing my feet didn't say one word to me. When when I said bless you after she sneezed, she just looked at me. But she talked to everyone else. Didn't seem happy to have my business. My friend's Mom is handicapped and she waits until she gets in her chair b4 taking her seat there she got snippy with her for taking so long. They need customer service training. So I'll never be back. I will not spend my money somewhere that does not appreciate my business. read more

I am writing to tell you how nice it is to come to Jeniza Nails and be able to relax. Other nail salons have their employees speaking Vietnamese to each other and usually at a raised voice across the shop. Not only is it unprofessional it is stressful at a time when I am there to relax. I enjoy Jeniza Nails for the very reason it is calm and quiet. Thank you for keeping you shop professional. I am a happy customer. read more

I got my nails done here. First of the guy that did my nails asked me to pay before o got them done which is fine. The lady at the desk told me it was $25 for a full set and somehow it ended up being $40??! No I did not get gel either which the guy tech kept pushing when I said I didn't want gel over 5 times. They charged me $10 extra for coffin shape! The guy tech had me pay before he put color on and he said "how much you tip me?" Like what? You don't ask someone that! He wouldn't let me write it in either HE had to write it. Made me feel very uncomfortable. I recommend paying at the front desk before you start or they will add on random stuff! Never go here read more

I have lived in this neighborhood my entire life, and I have bounced around from most of the salons in the area. I keep coming back to Jeniza because every time, no matter what technician does my nails, they always do a great job. Everyone that works here is friendly, the environment is always clean, and their prices are extremely affordable. I am terrible at small talk so I have the tendency to read, or close my eyes when I get pedicures, and the technicians are very respectful of that and not once have I felt they were talking about me to one another. They do take walk-ins, but they stay fairly busy so I try to set appointments when I can! Also, their massage chairs are worth going back for alone. read more

Love the atmosphere here. Very classy and does not have that "nail salon" feel or smell. Very clean. They actually have a receptionist who schedules all the appointments and walk ins, she is very polite and professional. My nails look great every time and last for 2+ weeks. Prices are slightly higher but I'd rather pay more for a better experience. read more

Got black gel stilletos, perfect length and shape! Went to Johnny - very fast and thorough work. Will return.

To be clear this is my boyfriend's account. I've been living and going to Sunset Nails in Mesa but since moving to Phoenix I thought the 25 min drive every 2 weeks was a bit much. While I've been to Jeniza's Nails twice before the one thing I found decent was the polishing technique. Most of the nail techs here are rude and unprofessional, chastise you for wanting the "basic" services Today I went in and wanted a regular gel manicure for my natural long nails, two of which had small tears in them. Normally they can accommodate this by using a powder dip and proceeding with the manicure as usual. My nail tech managed to bring out a drill when I clearly said twice that I did not want them to and I filed my old polish off myself. When she tried to take over filing off the old polish she roughly put an even deeper crack and buffed so hard she cut my cuticles. Normally while using SNS on my nails in the past most nail techs will then buff and shape the nail, which they did not, creating a round tic Tac shape, that now looks tacky and grotesque. In my so called manicure service today my nails were not even shaped and in fact are the same as I came in, but poorly polished and because it is a gel manicure sticking to my actual skin. HORRIBLE. Wouldn't even return if I was payed. read more

I've been a loyal customer to Jeniza for years. I've had my complaints about them regarding mistreatment by their nail techs or poorly polished nails... the managers were usually kind enough to address those issues for me. This was a consistent problem but I still went to them anyway out of loyalty to Jeniza. But today was different, today I decided that I would just stop being loyal to Jeniza. They advertise walk-in appointments but I was turned away by the owner who told me they were booked up. She knows I am a consistent customer yet she had no kind response but to tell me she was booked. She didn't even offer to take my number down in case somebody canceled or even asked me if I wanted to make an appointment for another day. If they are not loyal to consistent customers, then there's no reason for me to be loyal in return. I shall take my business elsewhere. read more
