First time coming in and I didn't have the best experience unfortunately. It wasn't that busy when I came in and I got a nail tech pretty quick. I explained what I wanted and she started doing her thing. I noticed right away it wasn't going to be a good experience. She was an older lady and was pretty rough to the point that she kept cutting me when shaving down my acrylic, I started tensing up because I was afraid she was going to keep cutting me. She then went ahead and told me to loosen up and just shaking my finger and doing everything so fast at the same time she kept looking back at the time. At that moment I knew she was probably in a hurry and was being very careless. I usually never say anything but when she told me it would be $25 for a fill and nail repair (more than I had ever paid everywhere else) I knew I wasn't going to pay for something and be in pain. When the gentlemen in the front desk walked by I left him know if I could get someone else because she kept cutting me and looked like she was in a hurry. Everyone obviously stopped and looked at me because I looked like an asshole client and all the nail techs started speaking their language (most likely talking about me). I did feel uncomfortable and upset but I wasn't going to pay for someone to just hurt me and not get a good job. They did get me with someone else by the name of Helen and she did and amazing job! I totally recommend her. First of all don't ever get the older lady with tattooed eyebrows! Second of all they are shady with the prices for sure! They never broke down the prices for me or had it anywhere where I could see. Third of all I am not racist at all I am Hispanic myself and speak Spanish when I want but I think nail salons need to have better customer service and try and think of their customers because most of us know they talk about us wether it's good or bad when they are speaking in their language. Having to stand up and say I didn't like the service I was getting made me nervous and it didn't help all the nail techs started speaking their language and most likely talking about me. Wish I could have had a better experience:/ read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE coming here for my pedicures. Kevin is the BEST nail tech i've had. I came here once recommended by a friend and haven't gone anywhere else since. I like that i see familiar faces every time I am in here. Prices are not bad, the wait to get in can sometimes be a little much but definitely worth the wait! read more

Decided to give this place a try for the dip powder nails they didn't last more then 2 days started chipping and way too thin I'll continue to go to my go too place on 16th st south of camelback Le's nails next to subway!! read more

I'm usually not one to complain, and definitely not one to leave a bad review. But I just feel so strongly about the services that I got here that I have to write about it I have come here twice to get my eyebrows done. The first time that they messed them up I wrote it off to the technician just not knowing what she was doing, but the second time with a different girl and she put her them just as bad. I am never going to come back here again and I should have known that since the first time. So I really do blame myself for doing it again since I already knew the work that they do . read more

This is a good place. Visiting from SoCal and it's more expensive then home ($55 for a gel mani and reg pedi)but they take their time and do a good job. If you pay in cash you get 5% off. Jacky is amazing. I went with limited time and he crushed it. I might be the pickiest nail person ever and I will go back!! read more

I've only been twice to this location the second time she nicked my cuticle so bad with her nail drill that it was bleeding.. it ended up getting infected she is too rough and was a painful experience.. I won't be back.. they are nice tho read more

I had loved this place until today. Came in for a pedicure a whole hour before they close and was told that they were not taking anymore clients, excuse me? I guess the owners must be doing so well that they have the luxury to turn customers away. There were 5 chairs available and I counted at least 3 available employees, shame on you because I am not coming back. If you are not about to honor your "business hours" maybe you should close an hour earlier! Oh, and your disheveled receptionist? She needs to check her attitude at the door. read more

I visited Jeniza Nails last week for a full set and a pedicure. While they got to my pedicure relatively quickly and did an pretty good job, my experience while waiting and getting my full set was not quite up to par. First off, I sat and watched them take all of their regulars first.. didn't really bother me at first because I assumed they had contacted them beforehand to let them know that they were coming in. They offered me a water and told me they'd be with me in 20 minutes and to just watch some tv. But as more time passed, 30 minutes then 40, I grew very impatient. Now, that itself is a problem. The lady who did my full set was not only very rough, but she rushed because I was her last customer of the night. Keep in mind, it's not like I came in 1 hour before closing, I walked in at 4:15. When the woman was putting the acrylic on, she piled way too much on and began getting frustrated because she couldn't file it down, all while passive aggressively looking up and smiling at me because it was getting late. After finally being able to get the shape I asked for, she painted them, but did it in about 5 minutes tops. The paint job didn't turn out absolutely terrible, but it is not worth the $35 I paid. I am writing this review because here I am, not even a week later, not having done any tedious work that would have caused it, my nail is falling off! The pedicure is still in very good shape (thanks to Hannah), but the full set, is something I definitely could have lived without if I knew the experience would have been that way. Fortunately for me, there are plenty more nail salons in the area, and at least now I know that Jeniza Nails is not the nail salon for me, and I will not be returning. PS: I walked in at 4:15 and didn't leave until 7:30 because I had to wait for my nails to dry! Nails should not take over 3 hours.. absolutely unacceptable! read more

Chose the place despite the rating simply because it was walking distance from my home. But I will never be back! My gel manicure is coming off after two days of getting them done!! read more

How the heck are you going to charge $20 for gel polish and $5 to file nails slightly to form a slight coffin shape on a 15 year old girl. I went in to get a pedicure only because I was given a gift card and figured my daughter could get her nails done at the same time. My pedicure was mediocre and the nail polish application wasn't the best. When I approach the register to pay, I am told my total is $86. I ask why is it $86 and they explained the $20 gel price and $5 filing price. I was in shock and completely disappointed that the price wasn't disclosed prior to the service especially since my daughter is 15 and clearly I am the one paying. Needless to say, we will not return. Complete gouging done at this place as gel polish is usually $10 and nail filing is included in the service at other nail salons . To top it off, her $20 gel polish started chipping the next day. read more

Van is my girl, she always leaves me looking fabulous. Not to mention she's hilarious. My nails always look beautiful after I leave her.

I've been a customer for over 2 years. Tina has been doing my mani/pedis for most of that time. She does an exceptional job on my nails. All of the other NT's are courteous and very professional. read more

Customer service was the best I ever saw for a nail salon. They took me in immediately, and were very helpful! The only issue is the quality of the service. Tina was very nice but I have two cuts on my pinkies that still didn't heal and it has been almost a week. On top of it my thumb gel nail polish chipped off within 2 days :(. I would rather have bad customer service but good quality nails ... read more

This place is absolutely terrible. I brought my sixteen year old autistic daughter to this nail salon, and two of the staff members treated us horrible. I couldn't believe they sat there and made fun of my daughter, how horrible of a person can you be? And the pedicures were pretty bad, everything felt very rushed from the moment we sat down. I could paint my own toe nail better then these ladies can. I would say this is the most uncomfortable pedicure I've ever had in my life. read more

The service was horrible! After showing a simple nail design to the tech, Hanna I believe, blatantly said it was UGLY and refused to do it. This comment turned me off completely, and I decided it was time to leave. The staff then continued to argue with me to pay for a service, which I did not receive. Horrible techs with no sense of customer service. If no stars was an option that's exactly what they would've gotten. read more

I love my tech at this shop. I drive from East Mesa on schedule every 3 weeks . The cleanliness of this shop is top notch. I don't understand people who complain about walk in service. Make an appointment and treat them as the professionals they are. read more

Ok, so after hearing rave reviews and many people in my building say how great the service and atmosphere is here, I decided to give them a try. I went on the website to see what services were provided. So I saw on the website express pedicure and thought great I can go during my lunch if they have availability. Against all, I called and was told nope not busy come on in. I then asked are they offering the express pedicure because I am on my lunch break for $15.00, and the young lady stated yes. So I leave right away I am only 5 minutes away. I show up and the same girl I spoke to is at the front desk very friendly. And I say I just called about having the express pedicure done, and she say ok. Then this black girl, and I specify because she was the only black girl working there with a small cute afro, says we don't do express pedicures we can do a basic and I ask what is that is it a different price, she says yes that $21.00 that's Tempe. So I said but it is advertised on your website and I called and she just looked at me with the oh well attitude and said you would have to go to Tempe. I said I guess I will just have to take my business elsewhere. I will be telling everyone about this especially my co-workers who claimed such great and professional experience, this was anything but. I feel I was treated rudely, and as a potential continuous customer the service should have been honored, though I am close by, it is hot, it still my gas and my time. And it was not my fault I was given inaccurate information. my service request was simple, callous removal, and polish, no lotion, no massage, no hot stone in out. I would have done it, but I guess I understand good customer service, word of mouth and the damage a bad review can do. I can this place could care less. read more

I have never had a bad experience at this nail salon until today. The tech I requested was busy so I unfortunately had to go with a different tech. My pedicure went fine, that was just fine. As for my manicure...this is the first time I have ever recieved a manicure that the tech did not soak my hands in soapy warm water.. Instead used a squirt bottle. She barely wet my finger tips and then proceeded to barely push back the cuticles. Needless to say there was not much cuticle to snip off. Granted, it had only been 4 weeks since my last manicure, but I could see that there was plenty she missed! I was irritated and told her that I had never had a manicure like this and she gave me some lame answer. She had been talking and talking to the other techs the whole time until I questioned her about the job she was doing. Then she got real quiet. She didn't even put lotion on my hands and massage them like the techs always do there. She painted my nails and by then I just wanted to get the hell out of there. I was there an hour before closing time so my guess is she just wanted to get the hell out of there too. It was the lamest most unprofessional manicure I have ever had. I can't believe I paid for it. I should have complained to the girl at the desk but instead I'm on yelp. Her name starts with an H and ends with a N. Good luck to you if you are unlucky to get her. I'll go back to the salon and make sure I stick to the techs I know do a great and professional job. Again it's the first bad experience I've ever had here. I have been a customer there for the last two years. read more
