Office staff are obnoxiously rude and customer understanding is completely absent. They sell $5,000 cars for $15,000 act as though you should be on your knees kissing their *** . I was told the cars were bought at auctions and reconditioned and then put on the lot, the only thing true about that is they were bought at auction andput on the lot. I am extremely unhappy with this used car lot, I wouldn't recommend it to my enemies. read more

Disclaimer: Actual rating is ZERO, but Yelp doesn't allow it! I have been to some pretty terrible shops in my life and J.D. Byrider of Waco is easily one of the worst. When you can manage to be horrendous in Customer Service, workmanship, communication, and respectfulness of peoples time...it's just a recipe for disaster. I can go on and on tearing up this joke of a business, with specific and concrete examples. I will just say that when you come in right after they open up for the morning and have only one customer ahead of you and they take over 6 hours to replace a radiator and belt, fully knowing you had to leave 3hours prior the completion of the job...that speaks volumes. Let's not even get into the fact that a vehicle purchased from here a week prior already has lots of issues...red flags should pop up. Then to waste an entire day on repairs that should take no more than 1-2hrs, just ads insult to injury. You don't have to take it from me OR everyone else who has reviewed this facility with similar negative experiences. Whatever you do in life Never get a vehicle from these jackasses. Over priced crap is all they sell. Paying damn near $400 a month for a 2010 car. If I'm not mistaken they want a total of 12k for it. Went to a few lots and got told it's only worth maybe $1,500-$3,000 tops Worst fucking car lot I've ever gotten a car from. I wouldn't recommend even my worst enemy to get a car from this place. They have very very very bad business practices of which they charge anywhere from 26 percent 28 percent interest on a used car witches against the Texas state law to charge anywhere from 26 to 28% interest on any car number one that don't even run all that great and their maintenance guys they do not know what the f*** they're doing number two they cover the license plate of the car with a piece of plastic which is a breeding ground for the police to stop you because they claim they can't see the license plate with the plastic on there the plastic obstructs their View and technically they should have to pay the fines because they're the ones who put the goddamn plastic on the vehicle but they won't cuz this happened to a friend of mine twice and he was obeying all the traffic laws which brings me too the fact that Plus you can sign up with insurance on the car through them and they will try too tell you that you've been driving around without insurance on the car since you had it and end up repoing the car of which you paid them an extra $50 a month for insurance so yeah they should have to pay the abstraction of the license plate tickets and the insurance violation tickets so yeah this is a piece of shit company I would never ever in my whole entire life recommend Byrider of Waco or Killeen Texas to anybody because yeah this is a piece of crap company just trying to get rich actually technically they need to close their f****** doors as matter fact nobody should ever go to this company just so they go bankrupt and close their doors read more

My fiancé got a car from there at the beginning of April. She has had issues with the vehicle since the car was drove off the car lot. First it was the check engine light and then our A/C and radio was cutting off and on by itself. When it was reported to the company services department, they worked on the car a " full day" and stated they could not find out what was wrong with it but battery was in good condition, transmission was in good condition, and etc. STILL TO THIS DAY , The car is not fixed or has been worked on because they want too keep the car and not offer any assistance with another car. The service's reps and sales reps are very rude and lie. At this point it's very clear that all the company cares about is money and don't care about their customers concerns at all , as you can tell by previous reviews. read more

I don't see how these people sleep at night knowing that they are selling good honest hard working people junk!!! I have a car from them that is constantly in the shop. 3 times just for the transmission alone. which is in the shop now as I am writing this review. I have spent close to $2,000 on rentals along with paying my car payments. Mr. Adam was kind enough to give us a loaner since we could not afford another rental. The loaner was infested with roaches, the check engine light was on, the wipers barely work at all. I even took pictures of the roaches in the car. I cant believe they would treat people the way they do or even sale cars that are junk. read more

They just dont honor the warranty properly. I have been without a car for 3 weeks now because the transmission is slipping and this is the second time they told me that the transmission ISNT the problem. They still want that car payment though. I am currently UNEMPLOYED so this really puts extra stress I dont need. As long as nothing goes wrong with the vehicle you pick, I think you should be fine... maybe... hopefully... probably not. read more

I'd give them a ZERO if I could. DO NOT do business with these people. They make claims that buying from them helps improve your credit score. Its a LIE. In fact, my credit score went down 107 points because of them. Be VERY wary of a company that has accountants that cant figure out where the decimal point goes. Instead of drafting your account for $183 they STEAL $1830 one month & then report you for missing a payment the next month. When we called and asked them to correct the credit report, they claim the problem is not with them. If you like have your family and friends hounded every month asking them to REMIND you that your car payment is due, then yes....these are the people for you. If you like paying 3x what the car is worth......then go ahead and do business with them. If you like having a car with numerous electrical and mechanical problems that dont fall under the warranty contract.....then go ahead and do business with them. Oh, and dont let them BS you about paying off the car in 3 years. READ THE FINE PRINT.......the principal loan is paid off in 3 years.......but you continue to pay them interest for a full 42 months. BEWARE. Dont allow yourself to get sucked into buying from them. read more
