I took my 2019 Jeep in for an evaluation to see what work it may need before I attempt to sell it. Everyone I spoke to was professional and very nice. I dropped my car off around 10am, they called me an uber to school, and by 1:30 I received a text with a detailed evaluation of my vehicle and an itemized list of recommended repairs/maintenance. I picked my vehicle up later that same day and they walked me through the evaluation--they were super transparent and even recommended I forego some maintenance that was not immediately necessary since I sought the eval with the goal of ultimately selling the car. Their evaluation of my car was free and they didn't press me to schedule repairs or bring cars back to them in the future, but I will definitely be back because of their professionalism and transparency. Excellent service. We were on a road trip and our air conditioning quit....in 108 degrees weather. Called 5 places before finding Trinity. They did a diagnostic and refilled the Freon. We were back on the road in two hours. Note: they have the equipment for the 123Y Freon...some places we called didn't have the equipment we needed. I came through because my boss recommended this place. He told me at the time they were doing free diagnosis. My AC was out at the time, and I had got an opinion from most people and we all concluded that it was the control module and the unit. Went over, and was charged for the diagnostic, which was abt 200, and on top of that it, they were trying to charge me around 1,250 for the job. AND ON TOP OF THAT we replaced the fuses on that car and guess what, the module and the unit worked fine, it was all just because of a blown fuse. read more

I made an appointment a week in advance to have a Check Engine light diagnosed in my 2015 Challenger. I arrived the day of my appointment at 730am on a Wednesday and dropped off the car. Of course before any work can be done, a quote must be sent and service approved. I let them know I would get out of work at 430pm that day, and they told me they would get it looked at and send over what they find. By 1130am I was a little worried that I hadn't gotten a quote to approve, but decided to trust the shop. At 415pm I still did not have any work to approve, so I called and was told they were out looking at the car. Five minutes later I received a call from the shop and was told I had four codes showing Emissions related issues. This was something I had already told the shop when I made the appointment and when I dropped it off that morning. I had done my own code read earlier that week with a $20 reader, in my own driveway, which took about 2 minutes. And I had never even done it before. So after having my car for 9 hours, they had only done a code read. By my best guess, they did it right after I called to get an update so they would have something to tell me. It felt a lot like a child who didn't read the chapter for homework but skimmed it right before class and recited obviously superficial and unimpressive information. They assured me if I left it overnight they would get to work on it the next day. By 3pm the second day I still did not have an update. I called and was told they were out looking at the car, and would call me back. Two hours later with no call-back, I arrived at the shop in-person to get a straight answer. They told me, it's on the lift now, and it was next to be looked at. Convenient, that every instance I inquired about my car, was the short window it was being looked at. I let them know if the work wasn't started the next day I would just retrieve the car and be done with it. They apologized and claimed they had three callouts that week. I completely understand that this is out of their control, but they could have communicated that so I could reschedule the appointment. I am a human adult with a job and a life, not having a car is not easy, and that customer service factor was completely ignored and disrespected. They assured me the work would be started the next day. At 1145am the third day, I finally had work to approve, with an expected completion for the following Monday. At this point they wasted the first two days of my time, during which I could have avoided managing rides at my own expense. The next Monday, at 430pm I called again to get an update on the service. They informed me the work was done but wanted to keep the car overnight, then test drive it first thing in the morning to make sure that everything was working and would give me a call. The next morning, I did not receive a call. Instead, I called at 1pm after their lunch break to find out that they were, yet again, about to do the test drive. I let them know I would be there in 20min and expected them to start immediately. Work that could have been completed in two days took six instead. With zero communication from the shop, and zero regard for the impact this has. After two weeks I have had no issues with the work, but the customer service was non-existent, and the price was what you'd pay anywhere else, if not more. They wanted to quote me over $200 to change the air filters, which I denied and completed from my driveway. I sprang for the high-end filters and did it myself in about 5 minutes for $70 with one screwdriver. The only communication I ever received I had to call for and turned out to be childish attempts to stall instead of being honest. I feel disrespected, will never return here again. read more

My car was overheating, so I stopped by the O'Reilly's Auto Parts store on Franklin, and the employee was nice and put water in my car. When I asked him if he knew any good, honest mechanics close by, he recommended Trinity Auto Haus. He said he used to work there, and they are very fair and honest. I "babied" my car the 2 miles to get there, my car overheating the whole time. I was worried as I felt pretty desperate...you know, and feared that they would some how take advantage of my situation. The guy at the front desk was very friendly and seemed to "care" about me and my car. They fit my car in and within 30 minutes assessed my car and let me know what was wrong with it. I appreciated them because they gave me the approximate cost and a list of things that "should" be done in the near future with the cost (things but that aren't pressing) and then the items that were crucial that must be done now with the expected price. No surprises! Then when I was trying to plan on how to pick up my vehicle, they explained they will pick up local customers which was huge as my ride was 30 minutes away. I felt like they generously made my car a priority and got it done in a very timely manner. They earned every one of my 5 stars. I will definitely be taking my car there again for future maintenance and any issues that arise! I hate car problems, but Trinity Auto Haus made the situation bearable and simplified. read more

My truck needed front-end alignment. Trinity Auto Haus had some good reviews, so I took my truck there. After waiting an hour, they told me my truck needed to have the lower ball joints replaced. I have been working on my vehicles for over 30 years and have replace ball joints and McPherson struts, and king pins several times. The ball joints do not need replacing. I had previously had work done on the front end by my local mechanic and asked him to check the ball joints. He said that they were fine and did not need replacing. Either the guys at Trinity Auto Haus don't know what they are talking about or they were trying to get me to agree to work that does need to be done. I have been here a handful of times and always get great service. Prices are good and quality is great. They can also drop you off most places in town after you bring your car in. Have had a few times where car was supposed to be done by end of day - they did finish it by end of day, but stayed open later than posted time to do so. I appreciate the service but bigger win would have been to have it done by posted closing time. Not worth taking off a star, just a head's up if you're planning around your car's service time. #ProTip: Bring your car in, have them drop you off somewhere. When your car is ready, take an Uber back (will set you back $5-10 max). If you're as busy as I tend to be, will keep you from having to slow down while your car is being worked on. [Also, if you just need basic stuff done, another great shop in town is the Firestone on Lake Air Dr. They do my oil changes and have great service as well. Have had a couple good experiences here, but two bad experiences here. Latest experience isn't as bad as the first one, but frustrating nonetheless. Scheduled an oil change for 10am, was glad they agreed to no contact service(I'm immunocompromised) but it didn't go into the garage until 2ish. They don't communicate with me proactively, even though they had an explanation each time I checked in, "Everyone's gone to lunch," and didn't give a new estimated time when people would be back to do the oil change. 5 hours later, the car is done. And it's $35 more expensive than normal (which they didn't give a heads up about). Listen, things are harder at the moment and there's a lot of room for folks in different service industries, but lacking super basic customer service skills like communication doesn't fly. They wasted our time and lost our business. read more

My experience with Trinity Auto Haus was great!! The staff was super courteous and accommodating. I dropped my car off expecting to pay several hundred dollars to have my brakes replaced. They ended up calling me and letting me know that my brakes were still in great condition and didn't need to be replaced right now. They inspected my car and informed me that everything was in excellent shape and that the only thing they would suggest for me to have serviced was to have my fuel injector cleaned. At the end of the day I paid a fraction of the cost that I originally anticipated. They were honest when they didn't have to be, and for that I am beyond grateful! read more

We were leaving Waco to return home to San Antonio, when my car overheated. We got a word of mouth recommendation from a diesel establishment saying that these folks were top notch. We got there at 3:30 and were out at 4:52. They determined that I had an air bubble in my coolant, tilted my car to get it out, refilled coolant and we were on our way with instructions to contact my local mechanic about the radiator seeping at the seams and a couple of other things. The bill was well under $100! They squeezed me in, and they were busy! I highly recommend Trinity Auto Haus! I just want to tell the world about mine and my husbands experience at Trindity Auto Haus, they are the most honest and helpful people we have had the pleasure to deal with. While on vacation 600mi away from home our Mercedes Sprinter RV flashes some warning that it was going to shut down in 10 starts... could be really bad could be a sensor but either way it was going to be costly.. we were able to get our Sprinter there within 4 starts left... They assured us they could help us BUT first chris wanted to make sure that our RV wasn't under warranty- He (Chris) called 6 places sorting out wether our RV was under warranty- it was !!!! He had the Mercedes dealership mile down the road waiting for us to work on our Sprinter. It was only a sensor that needed clearing thankfully but that sensor would have shut our RV down and it would have had to be towed... THANKS CHRIS!! I was very disappointed after reading all the great reviews with how I was treated and charged. I took my BMW in because they were the euro experts in Waco, it took all day to get an answer that ended up being exactly what I expected when I took it in and was told it shouldnt cost more than a certain amount and the final bill was almost 30% more than I was told... I called the day before to schedule my time to drop it off too... I wish it had been a different experience, but I will not be taking anything back to them unfortunately.
