pecan crusted chicken ($28 as of 11/2025) was amazing. subbed orzo and wild rice for coleslaw.

This review is for dinner at the bar on a Friday in mid-November. service: Both bartenders were very professional and accommodating, despite covering the crowded bar and bustling house. It was dizzying to watch them work that hard! bar: My Bulleit Rye Manhattan ($17 as of 11/2025) was fantastic. I followed that with a Columbus Brewing Yellow Springs IPA ($8). Full bar with very impressive offerings. food: My pecan crusted chicken ($28) was amazing. Also the largest piece of trout I've ever received in a restaurant. I substituted their excellent orzo and wild rice for the coleslaw. details: The place was packed on a Friday night. I snagged a single seat at the bar, but reservations highly recommended. Plenty of surface parking right outside. Didn't see a dress code, but place is upscale and very nice.

Steak burger and fries

Great experience with amazing food (best steak burger I've ever had). Our server was professional and helpful. The dark candlelit setting was a sexy esthetic, it was perfect for a celebratory dinner. Fries were crispy and delicious. I couldn't stop eating them. The rattlesnake pasta was very unique. I wasn't expecting it to have almost a Mexican flavor to it but boy was it delicious! The steak burger came out perfectly made and was so savory. We also started with the deviled eggs and we both couldn't believe how delicious they were. The candied bacon was a great touch.

Took some friends here for dinner . They don't eat at nice restaurants like this usually . They were really impressed by the place , service and food. She got the ribs that just fell off the bone and he got the steak and it was so good. Almost melted in his mouth. I got the prime rib it was delicious and is what I always get . The carrot cake was great too . Chris our waiter did a great job . This is a great place to eat and has a good selection to choose from . One of my favorite places

Wow! The service, the food, the atmosphere is all phenomenal. We stopped by this restaurant on a road trip and boy was it good. They seated us immediately without a reservation. I ordered a steak with baked mac and cheese. The steak was undercooked when it arrived but the waiter was back at the table before I could even call her! She immediately took it back to be corrected. This would definitely be a "staple" restaurant if we lived closer. And to top it off our waiter brought us a complementary carrot cake. It was warm, sweet, gooey perfection! Thanks for making our visit amazing Tracey!

Excellent and very delightful! I recommend blue cheese crusted filet! Our server Taylor, gave the best service I've ever had!

We always have excellent service & food at this restaurant, but tonight they went above & beyond expectations. I had a 8oz fillet with a backed potato & only succeeded in eating 1/2 of the meal. My husband ate 1/2 of his ribs & potato, so the waitress packed our food to go. We forgot the food & drove back to retrieve it, however, it was already discarded. I told the waitress this was the 2nd time we had done this! She asked what we had, I told her & she asked if I minded waiting while the kitchen prepared us a portion of the food we had. It was 10 minutes before closing & the chefs graciously prepared the food. What a wonderful place to give our business to! Thank you so much for your generosity & pleasant attitude!

Pardon the glare; I love all drinks with prices on the wall in addition to the menu.

This was my first visit here in a very long time. We sat at the bar and had a few drinks with the calamari app. Everything was great. Our bartender was wonderful. I asked what their happy hour hours are and she said they do not have a happy hour. Hence, 4 stars vs 5. I love that they show all the drinks with prices up on the wall above the bar, as well as on the menu. We may return, because I fondly remember how good their food is. I asked if they still serve the warm honey-drizzled croissant with salads and she said those are no more. Sad.

I love this place. It's only like a few dollars more expensive than Applebees but 10 times better. The prime rib is brilliant. Love it.

On paper, my wagyu burger and fries may seem basic, but - like the decor and service - were elevated. Very good! I'm not a seafood fan, so they removed the trout roe from the dirty tots and what remained were six cubes of potato perfection. I had more than everyone else in my party. Accompanying that was a non-alcoholic mojito which had too much ice and too little drink for my liking, but the concoction itself was refreshingly delicious. Every dessert looked great on the menu. My colleague ordered the carrot cake which seemed so scrumptious that it almost made me second guess the honey-butter cake that our server recommended. However, I'm happy to report that the cake with mixed berries and vanilla gelato was a winner. I'll be honest, I expected to think that Butcher and Rose was overrated. I'm so glad that I was wrong.

She answered all of our menu questions and everything came out in a timely manner. My daughter's loved their steaks and I really enjoyed the 12oz lobster tail. We were a little worried but decided to see it through. I'm so glad we did! Everything about our experience was amazing. Valet parking is available which is always a plus. Walking in you're well aware you're in an upscale restaurant. The lights are dim and the design is rich and romantic. We arrived early and sat at the bar while waiting for our table. The hostess and the bartenders were all very attentive and professional. The hostess came to get us when our table was ready and we were asked if we preferred the elevator or stairs -we opted for the stairs going in, after filling our bellies we took the elevator! Our booth was spacious and comfortable, shaped almost circular so that we could sit close together but large enough there is plenty of space for more people. Our waiter, Sam, and his assistant, Brandon, very promptly arrived and introduced themselves. They brought amazing rye & sourdough bread in a basket with 2 choices of butter. Sam was very knowledgeable about the menu and his recommendations were on par with what we had in mind. We both ordered half salads, I ordered the Freddie and my husband had the Iceberg Blue. Both fresh and flavorful, neither of us could choose a favorite. For our entrees my husband opted for the Steak Collinsworth and I chose the pork chops... we both were impressed with the pork chops. Very flavorful and juicy with just the perfect amount of charring. We also ordered mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. It was all delicious! My husband really enjoyed the creamed spinach and said it was among the best he's had. We were too full for dessert, but Sam treated us to a cupcake for our anniversary. The experience from beginning to end could not have been better. We were thoroughly impressed and will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, the steak wasn't cooked the way I prefer, the brussel sprouts weren't enjoyable, and the mashed potatoes tasted like they may have been instant, which was disappointing for a place known for steak. The one standout for me was the meatballs, they were actually really good and had great flavor. My Mother (who is a frequent guest to Cameron Mitchell Restaurants) and myself, decided to have a nice Sunday brunch at what she usually knows to be an elevated dining experience and choice Guild House due to the copious amounts of reviews and recommendations of their ability to accommodate vegans. So we did what was recommended which was called ahead to let them know that we were coming in to dine and the host reassured us that the Chef would be able to accommodate for the vegan diet. Once we arrived and were seated, our server gave use the run down and proceeded to let him about the vegan diet to which he responded there were vegan options on the menu (which there are not), I let him know we were told to let him know so he could communicate with the chef to see what could be prepared. After checking with the chef he told me only one dish could be made vegan even though I was told they would be able to make off menu dishes for dietary restrictions. The executive chef came out only to agree with me that they could make Off menu dishes, but didn't provide me with what they could make but told me the tofu for the salmon dish would be blackened, seasoned and seared so I went ahead and ordered the one dish that I was told could be made Vegan. I then went to order a drink and wanted to know what the rotating IPA they had on draft was at the time... the server responded that the ipa was called "rotating" if I would like to order it, after telling him several times that's incorrect and asking for him to check with the bartender, he finally decided to go ask what the rotating beer was, s if I don't know what I'm talking about or how to order at a restaurant. The food finally came out and not only was my tofu not blackened, it was barely seared or cooked as the chef assured me it would. My mother also order her eggs to be overhard and they brought her a runny egg and had to take it back. I tried to suck it up and just eat my food but the lack of favor was disappointing so I asked about my togu not being prepared right which they acknowledged and brought me out JUST the tofu (blackened this time) without remaking the whole dish. They did eventually take that item off the bill, but the manager never came out to speak to us or to acknowledge all the problems we were experiencing. I am highly disgusted and shocked with this experience and the lack of professionalism and hospitality exhibited by the server, the management and the kitchen staff. This was not up to Cameron Mitchell standards what so ever.
