One of the many steakhouses to choose while in Dublin. Very intimate dining perfect for dates. We came in for happy hour and the food we selected was delicious and affordable. Very busy venue so would recommend making a reservation.

This Hyde is my favorite one! The atmosphere here is very welcoming. And the staff is outstanding. I never complain about the steak at Hyde. It's always perfectly cooked and extra juicy. The sear on the outside adds just the right amount of crispy. Served with onion straws...which I eat on their own because they are so good. Wine selection is plentiful. Drinks are always on the heavy pour side. Do yourself a favor...get to Hyde Park!

Asparagus and petit sirloin

This was my first time at Hyde park and it was amazing! The steak was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. The sides are sharable so we ordered three sides for the four of us at dinner. We got mashed potatoes, creamed corn pancetta, and asparagus. They were all amazing! And the perfect amount for all of us. We loved the ambiance of the restaurant as well - it was dimly lit and the decor reminded me of an old school steakhouse in a tasteful way. We went to celebrate my 30th birthday and it was a great location to celebrate a special event! The service was quick and the staff were very attentive. They had two waiters assigned to our table - one wasn't super nice but everything else was so great, it didn't really diminish our experience. Will definitely be back!

My fiancé and I came here to celebrate some successes we've had. We made a reservation, so we had no trouble getting seated. Our server came up almost instantly and quickly got us started off with drinks and a bottle of wine. They were also very kind to surprise us with a champagne toast to help us with our celebration. Throughout the night, they made us feel very special and staff outside of our server came by to congratulate us. They brought over a bread basket while we waited for the starter we ordered. I will say the bread basket is absolutely delicious. For our starter we got the oysters Rockefeller, which was very tasty. I just wish it had more flavor. Maybe more Parmesan or garlic, though overall it was really good. For our entrées I got the regular ribeye, and my fiancé got the bone in ribeye. We decided to split a fully loaded baked potato as our side. We ordered them both medium rare and they were absolute perfection. We lovedddd the entrées and it's one of the best steaks we've had since we've been in Columbus. By the time we finished our entrée, I still had some to take home so we weren't planning on doing dessert. They surprised us with a house dessert, which was kind of a s'mores trifle. Again, absolutely delicious and very kind of them! We fully enjoyed our experience, and I highly recommend coming here for a date night or special occasion!

My boyfriend and I came for Valentine's Day and were very excited as neither of us had been to Hyde Park before. We had to make our reservations over a month advance, but I'm not surprised they were so busy! When we got there there were very few parking spots and we ended up parking along a fence where we were unsure if we were allowed to be parked which caused us to be anxious about being towed throughout the meal. When we entered the restaurant the host was very friendly and we were seated right away even though we were early. The restaurant had great ambiance. There were small lights everywhere and lots of dark wood. We got seated right next to all the wine glasses, which was frustrating throughout the meal as servers kept reaching over us to grab loud wine glasses while we were dining. There was also sign on the table that said we could only be sat for 1 1/2 hours. I understand why they had to do this, but the service was not very fast and lead to us feeling like we were pressed for time the whole meal. The actual food was very hit or miss. We had a Caesar salad, 12 oz. Filet, Ribeye, mashed potato's, Brussels sprouts, lobster Mac and cheese, and flamed banana tart. The Caesar salad was good but pretty standard. Both the ribeye and the filet were delicious, but my filet was a lot more rare than I had wanted (I had asked for medium and the middle was quite red). The mashed potato's were probably the best part of the meal. The lobster Mac and cheese was pretty watery and was a little disappointing for how much it cost. The Brussels sprouts were ok but I wasn't blown away. We took our dessert to go and ended up throwing it out as it was so bad neither of us wanted to finish it. I think the food overall was pretty good and I really enjoyed the environment of the restaurant. However, I think for the price we paid I was expecting a lot better. I also didn't enjoy feeling rushed or being constantly reached over. I probably won't be returning for another big event.

Listen - food amazing, ambiance - amazing, service impeccable. Went to dinner with our team vendor partners, they picked an amazing restaurant. We had a set menu, the apps were Crab Cakes and Mushroom Sliders. I had the petite filet mignon w/ lobster tail on top. the only issue was that the lobster was mushy/soggy- I did not send it back b/c the steak was so good and the lobster was a small part. The sides that were brought out where asparagus & potatoes gruyere gratin - EYE don't eat either or those items. Definitely will be returning, want to try the lamb chops.

Filet Mignon a la Lobster

To start I ordered the wedge salad (it's a large salad!) it comes with candied pecans. For the main I had the filet mignon a la lobster. The bearnaise sauce was super rich and bordelaise was not to my taste. I think it would have been better without it. The filet was super tender and cooked perfectly. For desert I ordered the flourless chocolate torte. It is super dense and super rich. You should definitely share it!

Best road trip restaurant ever! LOVED the awesome steak, seafood and side choices, aptly explained by our attentive waitress, Pam, and cohort Rick. The atmosphere was pure vintage steakhouse with low lighting and satisfied people! After an appetizer of Thick Bacon (strange choice, but we loved it), two of us happily chose Steak Woody (Filet), wrapped with crispy bacon, topped with blue cheese and Bearnaise. Third entree choice was Steak Au Nicklaus (New York Strip) topped with peppercorns and outstanding Cognac Bordelaise. Accompanied by a lovely bottle of Napa Valley CA wine, what could be better??? Well . . Add Potatoes Gruyère Gratin and Crème Brulee and we have a winner dinner!

8oz filet + scallops, lobster mac, 2017 Silver Oak

A regular-ish spot for me pre-pandemic, when I lived in the area. Here on business and snuck into the bar an hour before closing, but was able to have the entire experience without feeling rushed. Within a few minutes, Laurie the bartender remembered me from too many years ago! The service was 5 stars, absolutely perfect amount of attention and pacing. I had my eyes on a crabcake to start, but when she mentioned the scallops were fresh, on special, and could be added to any steak, my mind was made up. Rare fillet was cooked absolutely perfectly, seasoned with salt and pepper to accentuate the taste of the meat. Scallops were grilled with just a little butter and fresh lemon, they were amazing. Lobster mac & cheese was spectacular. Started-and-ended with a cocktail, but had a glass of red wine with the steak that complimented it perfectly. Bar was not over crowded and I had a nice chat with several folks, and unlike some chains the ambient volume was just enough to NOT feel like I was in a library, and not too loud that you constantly ask someone to repeat themselves. Hyde Park is a treasure, I can't wait to visit again.

Sent the 'business manager' an email per her request 3 weeks ago. She talks a good talk, like they want to make this right, but then you never hear from them again. Just horrible, horrible service.

Special menu for special pricing but unfortunately no steak options and this is what we came for. We ordered off regular menu as have previously done but menu was not bad if looking for something other than steak! Started out with few cocktails which were fancy and tasty. I eventually had full flavored cab that was smooth yet pricy for the 9oz pour for $28. Ouch but we were celebrating. Had shrimp cocktail to start along with 2 rounds of their dinner rolls with butter. Nice salty butter was perfect with the hot rolls. Large shrimp 6 total so great to share. All 3 of us chose filets cooked med rare plus which was perfect! Nice hot red center. We knew this from previous visit but you can add this butter to it that is delicious. So yummy you wanna lick just the butter! Indy has many steakhouses and this place rates as one of the top steaks I have ever had. This is why we splurge yearly and keep Coming back. Steaks come with Tavern salads which were actually nice size and quite good with blue cheese crumbles. Side is also included. We chose loaded baked potato, creamed spinach and corn. This is where maybe they could better. Not super hot as came out so maybe pre plated. Since it was my son's 24 th birthday celebration he got a free dessert and the crème brûlée was "chef's kiss". One of the best of it also! Had a small chocolate on top that melted into the dessert! Other than the bill at the end which we already knew was going be what it was it was a perfect dinner out. We were seated at same booth and had same waiter as last year which was lovely. He was very attentive but not overly and paced the meal perfectly like any fine dining waiter should. There is a great bar area also which I have sat at with friend from this area. They have regular seats at the bar! Parking is close in garage that the places in downtown Dublin stamp the validation so free.

While there were a few minor service issues, our server was kind and attentive and acknowledged the celebration with complimentary desserts, which we truly appreciated. After dinner, my cousin and I went to wash our hands and use the restroom. At the time, all stalls were occupied and one was out of service, so we waited. When a stall opened, my cousin kindly let me go first. I finished and stood outside the stalls waiting for her for about three minutes. During that time, I noticed several people going in and out of the restroom area. I also saw a man sitting in a chair along the hallway wall near the stalls, hunched over. Shortly after, a woman exited the restroom and grabbed him to leave. I thought nothing of it and minded my own business. I also observed the executive chef enter one of the restroom stalls. When my cousin exited, she mentioned that the stall smelled strongly of smoke and that three girls had exited the stall before she entered. She said the stall smelled like marijuana but used it only because it was the only option available. She also pointed out that the man sitting outside appeared to be associated with the group who had been in the stall. We then returned to our patio table where our family was seated. Our server brought out her birthday pie along with another complimentary dessert. She blew out the candle, we shared dessert, and we began preparing to leave. A few minutes later, while we were still seated on the patio, the general manager, Nick Krafft, approached our table accompanied by Executive Chef Michael Wagner. We initially assumed he was checking in on our experience. Instead, he immediately stated, "I'm going to have to ask you not to smoke in our restaurant and bathroom," directing the accusation at my cousin and me. We were completely taken aback by both the accusation and the manner in which it was delivered. We calmly explained that it was not us and described exactly what we had observed in the restroom. We stated that neither of us smoke and never have. We even offered to have our belongings checked and explained that we had not taken any jackets or purses with us to the restroom, as our family remained at the table. Despite this, the general manager refused to listen or consider our explanation and continued to place blame on us. He did not speak to our server, who had interacted with us just moments earlier while bringing out the birthday dessert, nor did he attempt to investigate further or de-escalate the situation. As we were leaving, my fiancé asked the general manager if he actually smelled smoke on either of us. He responded "yes," which was not true, and continued to push a conclusion he had already formed. No apology was offered. We spent over $1,000 celebrating a family birthday at a restaurant we had trusted and enjoyed in the past. Instead, the evening ended with my cousin's birthday being overshadowed by an unfounded accusation. There were many guests dining that evening, yet blame was placed solely on two women who had simply used the restroom. I am a Nurse Practitioner, and my cousin is a special education teacher for autistic children. Neither of us have ever smoked. Being accused in this manner was humiliating, hurtful, and completely unnecessary. I was later contacted by the regional manager, who was understanding. However, I believe this situation highlights the need for better investigation, accountability, and staff training to prevent similar experiences in the future. A personal apology from Nick, acknowledging his actions and taking accountability, would be an appropriate step forward after innocent guests were wrongly blamed and a birthday celebration was ruined.

It's located in a busy, very popular area, and on a nice evening the atmosphere is hard to beat. Families, couples, and food lovers stroll through the charming Old Town Dublin streets. After dinner, it's common to wander across the bridge to Bridge Park or join the long (but worth-it) line for ice cream. Honestly, don't stress about the wait--where else do you have to be? Just relax and enjoy the night. Walking in was a "wow" moment. The sunken dining room has a beautiful, garden-like feel that immediately draws you in. I loved the ambiance right away, and we were greeted warmly as soon as we arrived. One small surprise--I expected to be hit with those rich Italian cooking aromas, but didn't notice much coming from the kitchen. For dinner, we ordered the rosemary focaccia with truffle butter, sausage and shrimp rigatoni, chicken fettuccine alla vodka, a Caesar salad, and a house salad. The focaccia was a hit across the table. My friends both ordered the fettuccine and really enjoyed it--I tried it as well and agree it was the standout dish. Unfortunately, my Caesar salad and the sausage and shrimp pasta fell flat. Both lacked flavor and were disappointing. I did try the house salad, though, and its dressing was excellent. So it seems like I may have just missed on my menu choices. Service, however, was the biggest issue of the night. The restaurant was not busy, but our waitress seemed to lack attention to our table. We often found ourselves looking around trying to track her down. When she did stop by, she would leave quickly without checking if we needed anything, and we had to call her back multiple times just to place orders or ask for help. She was friendly, but the service felt inattentive throughout the evening. Overall, we loved the atmosphere and the vibe, but I don't see me coming back any time soon for the food.
