We had a great Father's Day dinner at Tucci's this past Sunday. We'd never dined here before, but their inclusion in the new (to Columbus) Chase Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables program gave us the motivation to give them a try. They're an Italian steakhouse, with an equal focus on great steaks and great pasta dishes. This worked out perfectly for my family as I love steaks, but my wife and kids often prefer pasta and pizza over steaks. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is quiet and easy to have conversations. The wait staff were top notch. The appetizers and desserts were great as well. We will definitely be back! read more

A very average experience at Tucci's- truthfully, I was expecting a lot better. I'd probably give them 3.5 stars if I could. When we arrived for our reservation, we were seated in the back corner of the restaurant, but the kitchen. Normally, I have no qualms with this. However, there was a noticeable difference in temperature here and it was like sitting in a sauna for some parts of the dinner. The service was friendly, but she seemed very busy, so we weren't able to ask for things such as the cappuccino that my sister order that never arrived. We were not charged for the cappuccino, but the lack of attention to detail here was surprising. Finally, the food was quite variable. Individually- my husband's chicken Parmesan sandwich was excellent, and probably the only thing we'd want to return for. Great flavor and very well made. 10/10. I got the short rib- this was a disappointment. The beef was tough and chewy, not the melt in your mouth, soft texture I was expecting (especially having read other reviews). Very much a let down, and I know I can get better short rib at other restaurants. My sister got the crab cake entree and my sister-in-law got the miso salmon entree. Both were good, but nothing incredibly special or unexpected. One thing we did appreciate was how gluten free accommodating the restaurant is. Finally, we shared the lobster Mac and cheese. This was a huge let down to all of us who tried it- very few lobster pieces dispersed, and the dish was not cheesy at all. It was quite dry, and needed more cheese or bechamel to offset the crunch from the breadcrumbs on top. I love lobster Mac and like to try the dish at various restaurants- this is probably the worst of the ones I've tried in Columbus so far. I came back to give the restaurant a second try at the manager's recommendation. We were seated in the back rather than the beautiful front of the restaurant, even though i requested a table up front. The waitress and service was excellent. She was night and day different from our last visit. She was friendly, helpful and attentive. She really made the night. Even though the restaurant was very busy, she didn't skip a beat and made our experience memorable. My friends got pizzas because the pasta they got last time was taken off the menu for a limited time. I got the chicken piccata. I once again was really disappointed. The pasta was overcooked and dish lack flavor. I keep picking the wrong thing, because my friends loved theirs, but they agrees my dish lack any flavor except for the capers. I so want to like this place but the affordable dishes just don't deliver the flavor. The best part of the meal was the house salad. This is one delicious salad! read more

Very nice place located in old Dublin, OH. All class without being stuffy. We sat on the closed patio with its fountain - several people stopped to have their picture taken there. Excellent service. Food was delicious. Started with rosemary focaccia and short rib arancini. The arancini was a revelation! Main dishes were pasta carbonara with and a tomahawk ribeye. The carbonara included pork (speck?) and it was delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly cooked maybe over a wood fire that gave it a nice smokiness. We finally got to eat at Tucci's and it didn't disappoint. It's a beautiful restaurant in a quaint setting. Our waitress was fantastic and very personable. She checked on us frequently, even checking to make sure I was happy with my drink selection. The food was lovely. I absolutely loved my chicken piccata. It was perfect. We chose to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary here, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing enough that we don't plan to return. I ordered the market fish special (halibut), and it had a very strong fishy taste that made it unenjoyable. While I understand that tastes can vary, it was not the quality I expected. What disappointed us most was how our anniversary was acknowledged. We noted the occasion when making our reservation, and for dessert we were given only a small dollop of chocolate mousse. In the past, when celebrating birthdays and anniversaries at The Pearl and Kitchen Social, we've been invited to choose a complimentary dessert that was brought out with a candle, making the celebration feel special. That thoughtful level of hospitality was missing this time. When you're celebrating an important milestone, the little details matter. This was a very popular offer and choice. Officially an Itslian Steakhouse / the menu has a delightful selection of Italian specialties, steaks, or seafood. I was able to book a reservation sane day (a Thursday, I would not take that chance on a weekend). I arrived early, allowing time to park and still had 20 minutes to sit on a bench outside on a beautiful day and enjoyed the great smells from all the restaurants on the block. Editor's note: my reservation did not go through. They were still able to seat us - but would suggest calling to confirm your reservation. The food and service was amazing. We started with the steam mussels, served in a spicy broth we requested a dooo. To finish. One order of linguini carbonara, impeccable. One order if lasagna bolognese, superior. One order of chicken parmesan with vodka sauce, amazing. The pasta was excellent. Several other diners ordered steaks and those were impressive as well. Our server was excellent. My expectations were high given what I've heard. The atmosphere was gorgeous in the four seasons patio and the food was good but did not meet my high expectations. Additionally, I thought the table we were sat at was slightly too small for a sit down dinner. It felt better suited for coffee and cocktails than a 6 PM dinner reservation. 1st Course: - Focaccia with olive oil and truffle butter: my husband and I thought this was the best part. The amount of truffle butter they give you in so insane that I saved the dish and was able to put a large dollop on my steak later - Short rib arancini - really good. Not life changing but would order again 2nd course: House salad for him Strawberry salad for me (minus bacon) I loved my salad. Delicious and something I would happily order again with chicken if I found myself there for lunch 3rd course: Him: Veal chop parm Me: Filet mignon cooked medium rare with a side of truffle fries. Unfortunately my steak was overly charred on the top. I like a good sear, but the top part was so crisp that my fork couldn't pierce it and the charred part overpowered the flavor of the steak. I was unfortunately disappointed by the steak. The truffle fries were ok. 4th course: We shared chocolate lava cake. I'd probably give this restaurant 3.5 or 3.75 stars. The braised short ribs were amazing. They were so tender they literally fell apart with just the touch of my fork. Paired with the creamy mashed potatoes, this is a dish I could eat every day. The crispy Brussels sprouts were good, but I've definitely had better. They were a little too crispy for my taste, and I wish they had been drizzled with more of the Calabrian honey. read more

From the decor, to the lively ambiance, and friendly staff, my sister and I had a great time. I loved my blueberry lemon drop and omelette. My friends and I came here for brunch and it did not disappoint! We made reservations and requested to sit on the patio. It was my first time here since they renovated and WOW, it's beauitful! So pretty and airy with green plants and flowers! Our server was so attentive and kept our drinks full and offered to take pictures of us when she saw us taking a selfie. Today was the first day they were offering a Bloody Mary bar and they had great builds to make your custom drink! Two of us had omelets that were stuffed with filling and super hearty (they come with one side) and the other had avocado toast that comes with a side of fresh fruit. I've been wanting to eat inside their four seasons garden room for a while now. I keep seeing it as I pass through the streets and it always looks so pretty. It was very tastefully decorated. I was treated to a brunch with friends and instantly suggested we go there. I've been to Tucci many times before, but it was always in their main dining room. I've only been in their garden room pre-renovation. Their food has always been very consistent and high-quality. Service has always been good as well. This time was no different. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, but not too much so, and he was very patient with our table since we wanted to linger and talk after we ate. Our table decided to share for entrées and everything came out plentiful and delicious. The blackened shrimp salad was well composed with ingredients that really melded well together. The French toast was a bit dry for my taste, but the rest of the table enjoyed it and our standout favorite was the chorizo omelette. It was generously filled and came with delicious potatoes that were perfectly cooked. We were disappointed and likely won't return. I had the waygu filet and I didn't like it much. Probably me more than the meat but I usually like waygu. The creamed corn with it was good not great. I split a house salad with my daughter and it was very good. My wife had the halibut special and it was dry but the broccolini was delicious. The best was the walleye and then the veal "chop". First, just...WOW! We were in town for the weekend and happened to walk by on a Sunday morning. We decided to go in to see if we could get a seat. We were kindly greeting and found they had a table available even though reservations are recommended. The inside is beautiful and welcoming. The staff, all so nice! I tried the chorizo (southwest) omelette and it was delicious. My wife had the avocado toast and loved it. The other couple we were with very much enjoyed their meals as well. We came in as a party of 5. I have at admit, I was very underwhelmed by the food. The mussels are a bit anemic. More broth than meaty mussels. With that being said. The broth was lovely but nothing that wowed me. My salmon dinner was ok. It was cooked ok but there was a lack of flavor and seasoning. I find it weird that an Italian Steakhouse tried making an Asian inspired salmon dinner. It is very Cameron Mitchell. The dessert was disappointing. The cheesecake bites tasted like store bought frozen treats. The cream that came with our desserts. The chocolate lava cake was very chocolatey and delicious but why would they serve dessert with non dairy artificial tasting whipped topping? A beautiful place to get a meal any time of day! We got brunch (around 1:30), and everything was very fresh and well-presented. You will never feel rushed out the door. They kept our waters full and made sure we had everything we needed. Our waiter, who I believe was named Tommy, was excellent. He was very personable and answered all our questions. He checked in on us without hovering and was simply very kind. Our only real complaint was when another waiter brought out our food, and my friend's order was incorrect. We tried to explain the mistake to him, but he didn't seem to believe us and kept saying the meal was correct. After a few exchanges, we were able to convince him it was wrong, and he took it away. Luckily, Tommy came over after and asked if everything came out okay, and when we explained the situation, he very quickly got us the right food. Everything was delicious and very filling. Beautiful restaurant, great service! They have a wonderful happy hour as well. I took a star because the food was super underwhelming. We ordered a bone in ribeye and their mango Serrano tuna stack. The steak was just ok. I wish there would have been a better sear with more flavor, plus it was a little dry. The mango tuna stack had seaweed salad on it which was downright strange. I thought it should have been on the side. And then the tuna had good flavor but was somewhat stringy. I would come back here for happy hour and just order from the HH menu next time. I visited Tucci's with a friend for Brunch after the memorial tournament a couple months ago and had a great experience. Our waitress was super sweet, helpful, and got our food delivered quickly. We had the spiced honey rolls for an appetizer and they were AMAZING. I went with my go-to eggs Benedict for breakfast and it was delicious. Disappointing service: barely saw her, had to ask for things like water refill, 2nd cocktail...waited over 40 min for dinner even tho we just ordered the special. Saw other tables same size receiving food before us. Brussel sprouts recommended not great..thick with inedible stems still on, not crispy at all...would never get again. I will say the Mahi Mahi special was very good...but not good enough to return for with other negatives. The smoked old fashion was a bit overpowered and didn't not have a good balance. Now the reason I rated this place a lower, was due to the fact that the filet mignon, both a friend and I ordered came out over salted and barely edible. Our server took quick action and got the dishes replaced. However on the second round no butter on steak and it was below the temperature I requested. Maybe it was an off night. I came here for dinner on my birthday. The staff was very kind, we had a party of 9 and gave us our own private room. Our server was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. I would give the staff a 5/5! I was however a little disappointed in the food. The table split some starters (garlic butter and herb rolls, lobster dip, and clam chowder) which were all pretty good but not great. I was mostly looking forward to the jumbo seared scallops but was a bit let down. They didn't taste very fresh and the ingredients didn't seem to be very high quality. For the price we're paying I just expected a bit more. The staff was great and I love the location, but unfortunately don't see myself coming back for food. read more

Glad to spend our anniversary this year at one of our favorites. Nice Corner table in front of restaurant (not in the bar). They have construction going on, so remember to enter through the back/side entrance. Tucci is reliable and consistent. We always love coming here. Started with Herb Rolls and our favorite drinks.... Smoked old fashion and an Elizabeth Spencer Sav Blanc. Had to have a bowl of chowder - so delicious. But the Halibut special (so unique and incredible) and Short Rib Dinner were perfect choices - HIGHLY recommend both. Ended the night with Crème Brulee too. Great for drinks and appetizers. it reminds me of a Restoration Hardware restaurant. The food, especially given the prices, left much to be desired. My friend ordered the special which was a cod dish; it was almost $50, it was not cooked well, and the broccolini was enormous. I ordered a mushroom pizza which was also not very good. I know you guys put a ton of resources into the patio... stop closing the windows on beautiful days. People want to eat outside. We chose to eat across the street instead of at Tucci's yesterday because it was closed up like Fort Knox while the sun was shining. The new patio needs a facelift from the interior standpoint. Originally went for the dinner menu, but our waitress told us that only the brunch menu was available before 2:30. She did check with the kitchen and we could be accommodated with some of the items on the menu. This was a really magnanimous offer! We stayed with brunch and had a terrific meal! The Eggs Benedict were the best I've ever had. Breakfast potatoes were perfect. My wife had their Reuben which she agreed was a fantastic execution of the classic. A huge surprise treat was the honey butter buns. This is not to be missed! What turned out to be a mistake on our part was rewarded by an excellent brunch! read more
