We've gone several times and have always had good service and good food. We went tonight (Sunday) around 6pm and it was PACKED. Which is a good sign these days. Pretty loud and hard to hear, but that vibe is OK for a boil place to me. Only waited about 15 minutes. Two adults, two elementary kids. I like Lees of all the boil places because they have good options for non seafood people too. Both kids found wings, chicken fettuccini, etc. Started with the hushpuppies, about 12 smallish sized but a perfect starter for 4 people. Came with ketchup, I wish they would do a remoulade option. My wife and I split the duo (snow crab, shrimp) and I decided to add a LB of blue crab. Medium homemade juice sauce (always....it's sooo damn good). Snow crab was really good this time, snappy not bendy like some places. knuckles sweet and not overly briny. Perfectly cooked and came apart and out easily. Shrimp were just a tad overcooked but not much. Potatoes were perfect. We sub +1 tater for the egg. Corn is never good at these places. :) gotta do those fresh not frozen to get it right. The blue crab had good flavor. However, crazy overcooked which made getting meat out damn near impossible. Stringy instead of in chunks and stuck totally to the shell. I mostly gave up. My biggest complaint is they have ZERO typical utensils. No crackers/pickers/hammers/etc. I managed to cut myself trying to get into a snow crab large claw, and the lack of pickers made the blue crab impossible to eat. I'm bringing my own next time....serious. Finished with the fried oreos which were a perfect finish to the meal. 6 oreos for $6 was a great price. read more

Food was good, my only complaint was the amount of sauce, they held back on the sauce I could've boughten the extra sauce but wasn't looking for it to be drenched, but looking for alittle more love in the boil, especially since it was a lot of food and I had to take some home and reheat it. I came here with my friends and we had a good time. We got there and the hair was very nice and our server was super friendly and very attentive. My 2 friends I was with have never had a seafood boil before and they thought it was a lot of fun. I have always loved a good seafood boil, I just wasn't too impressed with the menu, they had good food but the best bang for your buck was definitely the preset combination but none of us were too thrilled with any of them but making your own bag was way more expensive which was really odd to us. But none the less what I got was good and the house sauce was good. I got medium spice and I barely tasted any spice at all but I'm a person that can handle a lot. I didn't see eggs included in any of the preset boils. 1 corn and 1 potatoe with most. The shrimp is decent size. Nice sausage portions and I really enjoyed the king crab. The calamari is a little to moist for me, and not crispy enough. Although, Receiving good service definetly depends on the server. Seafood Boil is one of my favorites and Lee's spicy homemade sauce makes it the best! They have such a great combination of Cajun and Chinese style flavors. They have so many different options for combinations so you can get your shrimp head and skin on, or completely peeled. I liked to get shrimp and andouille sausage. You can also customize the spiciness of the dish, and their extra hot is very hot so definitely try it if you're good with spice. You can also get rice on the side to enjoy with the boil or noodles in the boil itself. The noodles soak up the sauce very well. They give you gloves and bibs so you can eat freely. There are plenty of indoor seating and a fully stocked bar. The only downside is that the food takes awhile to come out, but once it comes it is piping hot and so good! read more

I've dined ALL OVER THE WORLD yet I've never been interested in eating at a seafood boil place because I felt like it was a fluff and show. I used to think that it was all shells, little seafood, and a bunch of corn, potatoes and sausage only in some sauce. Recently Red Lobster has been bombarding folks with commercials and social media regarding their seafood boils. This prompted me to want to try a seafood boil spot but DEFINITELY NOT RED LOBSTER because I don't trust them to do it right or give you much of anything but charge you astronomical prices for it. For my FIRST TIME SEAFOOD BOIL I had about a dozen places around the city I could've chosen but chose Lee's for the following reason: It's next door to Fiery Asian Sky and that place is a HOMERUN every time we've gone. I assumed Lee's might either be owned by the same people OR their competition. If they are their competition there is NO WAY they would have crappy service or crappy food because they've got to compete RIGHT? So I chose Lee's and I was ABSOLUTELY RIGHT in my assumptions. This place is a CERTIFIED BANGER!!!!!! What a great choice to lose my Seafood Boil spot VIRGINITY to! The $2 off Happy Hour Blue Hawaiian and Mai Tai's were HUGE, TASTY, POWERFUL and knocked you on your ass! These weren't little dainty $15 cocktails from the Short North or Bridge Park in Dublin these bad boy drinks will put hair on your chest! The Wings were tasty and prepared almost like those Korean Wings you get from BBQ chicken or CM Chicken! They were meaty, tasty, moist and not just breaded and dumped in grease, they took their time preparing them. The Cajun Fries were hot and crispy yet pillowy soft on the inside and you can't stop eating them. We got the ULTIMATE SEAFOOD BOIL with the Garlic Butter medium spice. The Ultimate comes with fried calamari. The calamari was huge, plump, battered nicely, fresh hot and crispy. The dipping sauce for them was very good. The only drawback is that they don't give you that many and place it on top of a lot of pointless iceberg lettuce. Outside of this detail it's still good. Now to the BOIL. That Garlic Butter Medium Heat is SOOOOO GOOD! The Crab Legs were juicy and plump. The whole shrimp here huge. They had the tails, heads and legs on them and they charge an upcharge of $4 to take off the head and $4 to take off the tail and legs. We passed on that because the Ultimate with two boiled eggs added on we were already at $54 or $56 and didn't feel like an additional upcharge. No biggie on the shrimp because the heads and legs slide off easily. The corn soaked up in the garlic sauce was BUSSIN, the sausages with the garlic and the sauce BUSSIN, the eggs marinating in the sauce BUSSIN, the mussels BUSSIN, the crawfish BUSSIN, the potatoes soaking up the sauce BUSSIN. I even took a wing and rolled and dipped it in the garlic sauce and you guessed it it was BUSSIN!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel like it was more meat in the seafood than shells and we were extremely full. I also like the music, the customer service was excellent, and the best part is the spacing of the tables. The tables are spaced out that strangers aren't all up on you or staring at you in your face while you dine which I appreciated! They have plenty of bibs, gloves, buckets, disposable paper table cloths, and sinks out side and inside the restrooms to wash off your hands. Although this is the FIRST AND ONLY SEAFOOD BOIL place I've been to in my life I can't think of or believe another place could do it any better! I would give this place 6 Stars if I could be this is definitely the place to be! read more

I was craving seafood and chose this restaurant because I'd never been here before. We came on a Sunday at around 5 o'clock and it wasn't that busy but got busier as time went by. I don't remember our waitress's name but she was super friendly. She asked if we'd been here before and even offered to explain how things worked. We got a seafood boil (The Ultimate) in their house sauce with a hot level of spice. Our waitress had given us a warning that it was HOT and made sure we were okay with it. She was right - it definitely had a kick to it but it was delicious and had a touch of sweetness to it too. The restaurant itself is a decent size. This meal was ok at best. I take partial blame for not ordering a boil meal...but.... Anyhoo, I ordered the shrimp and chicken Cajun stir fry with steamed broccoli and baked potato with butter. The stir fry was tasty. The baked potato was tiny and burned and the butter was not butter. It was a bright yellow semi soft substance in a cup. Very strange do I didn't eat it. The broccoli , I must say, was perfect. Our young lady server was the best and we did not complain at all to her. She can't help it. We went around 5pm on a Tuesday and got an amazing booth on the upper level, perfect for date night. Ambiance was nice, loved the early 2000s playlist going on. We got a frozen margarita and a lemon drop to start, and wow the frozen marg was one of the best I've ever had. We skipped apps to save room for dinner and as first timers our waitress walked us through everything and recommended the house sauce. She pointed out the "hot" level is ghost pepper so my boyfriend got medium and I got mild. Both were perfect for us! I didn't get a picture of mine but I got the combo with two types of crab and it was so perfect. Getting super messy eating it all was half the fun so I appreciated the bibs. Came here for a friends birthday, and it was my first seafood boil experience. The service was really slow, but the decor around the restaurant was really cute. We were one of the only groups in there, which made the slow service surprising. That didn't bother me though, because the food was amazing! I got the combo with mussels and shrimp, which was reasonably priced and had a lot of food. The level below ghost pepper was perfect heat that wasn't overwhelming. Beware!! One pound of King crab for $69 is a scam. Ask for a picture of the scale as they weigh your crab. They do not serve 1 pound of King Crab despite claiming that they weigh it before they boil it. It took me no time to eat one leg and a few random pieces. They used to charge $80 for one pound, and I did feel satisfied with that order over a year ago--but that was over twice what I received today. Condolences offered by 'an alleged expert' on how they weigh grab and who asked me how to make it better so I asked for clam chowder and some fries--and the goon asked if I really wanted the fries, too!!! No, of course not, just give me the soup so I don't have to stop at another restaurant before I go home. I will never eat there again. I'm quite sure they will not be around much longer. read more

I typically get the handful because it's $35 for 1lb crawfish, 1lb shrimp, 1/2 mussels, 12 cut sausages, 2 corns, and two potatoes. Not a bad price at all!! But, I'm sorry, as for ambience, with all due respect, I do not want to work as hard as I had to work to get to my food in the plastic bag and with all the "shell action". If I'm going to spend that kind of money, I will be going to a restaurant that does all the work and brings the food to me on a plate "ready-to-eat". I don't have much to compare to. I'm from Michigan and it's illegal to have fresh/love crawfish to come in now. Everything is market priced for the boil. And the prices are listed on a tv screen by the bar. Super handy dandy. What we got was a pound of jumbo clams, pound of live crawfish (of course), half dozen oysters, fried soft shell crab, and Cajun fries. The fried soft shell crab was delicious. No complaints. Crispy and juicy in the inside. The dip it came with tastes like Big Mac sauce haha. The oysters were super fresh and clean. BUT they didn't shuck it all the way. They took the shell off but didn't separate the meat from the shell. Had to do it ourselves. It was easy to do but you miss some of the meats. Cajun fries were okay. Could have used more Cajun seasoning. Our boil. SOOO GOOOD. Cajun style has a sweet element. It was Cajun but not Cajun. But the sauce was still very good. Just not as I expected. Heat level was okay. Not terribly spicy. The seafood was so fresh. The jumbo clams were perfectly cooked and super juicy. Should do regular clams next time. Crawfish was amazing too. Boiling seafood is a new restaurant that opened up in place of Panda Inn. I was frankly quite disappointed when Panda Inn closed (best tripe in town!) and was not expecting a whole lot when we decided to try Boiling seafood. But I must say we were very pleasantly surprised. The manager Steve Lee was super friendly and recommended that we try the "Handful", since it was our first time. It included 1 lb of Crawfish, 1lb of Shrimp, several cut up andouille sausages, clams, a couple of corns, and a couple of potatoes. We got this with the sauce he recommended which basically combined all the sauces they have together. Ask Steve for this sauce (I don't recall the name anymore). The spice level that we got was medium, and it was spicy enough to have a kick but not so spicy that we couldn't taste the food. To give you perspective, if you typically have the hot at Buffalo Wild Wings, you should not go higher than medium here. The handful itself had a lot of shells and not enough meat (except for the shrimps), but the flavors were amazing. I'd recommend getting the lobster tail instead to not have to deal with as many shells :), that's what I will get next time. The dungeness crabs here are supposed to be excellent as well (according to the manager Steve Lee, so that's another item to try next time). Next time, I'd also try some of the bread to dip the sauce in. They give you a plastic bib and plastic gloves. Both are essential as the dining experience can get quite messy. I wouldn't recommend coming here on a first date :), but we found the overall experience to be quite a bit of fun. So heard about this place somewhere, not sure where...probably here on Yelp. But I've had it bookmarked for about a month. After Comfest yesterday followed by the after party at Little Bar. I had to sleep in late, while the man went off to Church. Took some aspirin & just starting to feel better when I get the call that he's on his way back to go have lunch with a friend that's in town for Comfest. Service good and since this was our first she explained the menu, helpful. The have meals or boils you can split between 2 or 3 people. The regular seafood option is $34 and for $50 it includes crab legs and calamari. We started off with drinks of course. I got a Angry Orchard Cider bottle and the men got Yuengling drafts. I got the shrimp etouffee mild, not bad, could have used some more stuff to make it a little more filling. My man got the shrimp po'boy good but a little small for the price. Our friend got the soft shell crab appetizer that came with about six or sevens pieces. Which was about 3 or 4 whole crabs cut in half, breaded and lightly fried. He also a pound of crayfish with the spicy cajun sauce. My man and I will definitely be back to have the the boil to split. read more

For Ohio this place is good. It's hard to get good gulf seafood in Ohio. Being from the south off of the gulf I love mud bugs which you may call crawfish. This place is a must go too. As you know I base a place on would I take my out of town friend. I take all my friends here. Love it. Just get a bag of whatever you like and the flavor you want. you won't be disappointed. Went here for Mother's Day and was surprised how busy it was! The staff seemed a little overwhelmed with the crowd but once we were seated the service was great. We live really close to the spot so wanted to try it for a while and was craving seafood for Mother's Day. We split the handful and got no other food, and ate every bite but left full. We talked about baby throwing in a side next time. We got the garlic butter mild and it was a great level and spice level. We did pay the d tea to get headless which I think was a good ideas because we already had to do a lot of peeling. We can't wait to go back abd try more delicious options! read more
