Tucci's is one of my go-to spots for a date night or family celebration! I'm so happy they have the patio completed and back open. It's a beautiful space! Staff is always very friendly. They have a great selection of wines and every menu item is done with perfection. We always start with an app here, too many good ones to skip! Highly recommend you try them all. But our favorites are the short rib arancini and whipped ricotta dip. A salad is must here too. The fried anchovies on the Cesar salad are a unique touch. Their house salad is also delicious. All around wonderful. The new outside 4 season patio is beautiful. When making a reservation make sure to say you want the outdoor seating. The service staff is always great as well. For brunch I usually order the Avocado Toast with the fresh fruit and breakfast potatoes. For dinner I usually order the Surf and Turf or I have the Shrimp and Sausage Rigatoni. I just love Tuccis. But to be fair I get the same thing everytime. I love the spicy rigatoni. I get no sausage sub shrimp and it is so good everytime. Our first visit for dinner but we've stopped in multiple times for happy hour. We choose the restaurant week menu which was good but the portion sizes were smaller than normal. The Cesar salad was nice but the house salad seemed to have more flavor. I ordered the salmon and enjoyed the Citrus flavors but the desserts were the stars. We had mothers day reservations for 5 people during the brunch hours. CC was our waitress and is by far a rockstar. Went above and beyond and had the blessing of having her wait on us, she is an allstar! She is 15/10 all across the board she was phenomenal! The drinks and app (ricotta chz / bread) were phenomenal, although the table had ordered 3 steak and eggs dishes, an omelette and eggs Benedict, that all came out very, very cold. We were all super hungry and still ate regardless of the food being cold, even when we had the chance to get it remade, we still ate since we did not want to wait any longer. We were given fresh hot eggs on the house which is a super generous touch, and management handled the situation with pure class. Overall a great dining experience, but our only wish was the food being hot. Without a doubt more than happy to dine here again!! And ESPECIALLY ask for CC! read more

We decided to go for brunch, unfortunately didn't have a reservation so we weren't able to sit out at the patio but even the inside of the restaurant is nice! Next time will definitely try to make reservations so we can sit out in the patio. I got the eggs benedict which were really good - you have lots of options for sides if needed. I've been here before, and I'm sad I didn't remember how delicious everything was! The portions were WAY bigger than I remembered. I got the crab cakes thinking it would be super light, and I was shocked when I saw how much food was on the plate. It was a warm mixture of all of the items, and it was delicious!! The drinks were fabulous. The hummus plate was super fresh, smooth, and rather appetizing. And, the sorbet was pretty good. Service: exceptional. Our waters and drinks were always full. There was perfect timing between courses. And, the staff was all very kind. Parking: street parking or there is a free lot behind Tucci's. It does fill up, but there's free parking all around the area. Seating: indoor/outdoor. Only indoor in the winter months. We had a small booth in the bar-- and golly, it was tiny. I could hardly fit my jacket and myself, and I am a super small human. If anyone from Tucci's reads this... I'd recommend a coat rack or hooks to hang jackets near the booths in the wintertime. All good things I guess.. I loved this place for a lunch in the summer, sitting outside, enjoying the atmosphere of sound and ambience of the area. But they added this extension to the front, replacing the quaint vibe of the town with a boujee almost temple feel, where it's not the same anymore. They jacked the prices and imo ruined what made it worth the price. The food is still a good quality, and eating in the original restaurant is still good for brunch or lunch, but the dinner menu is more expensive than better places in the area, that frankly just don't feel as pretentious as this place has turned into. sadly all good things must end.. read more

I've been here prepandemic and post pandemic. The service? Great. Always been great. Most recently, we opted to sit outside, and I felt TERRIBLE for the servers, because they were clearly roasting in those clothes, running around. I really hope they improve the airflow. Now, the most recent visit, the food was... okay. The rolls felt a little underdone (more like focaccia than rolls, really) with a luke temped marinara. The steak (ordered medium rare) was approaching black and blue (which I don't mind, but far from med-rare). Not really seasoned - for the price I expected a tastier cut of steak, but at the end of the day... it felt over priced, underdelivered, and let down. Bonus - our order took forever. Evidently, computer issues, so they dropped off a third round of drinks. As "nice" as free drinks are, a heads up would've been nice as it was a lot of walking to sober up before running home (and I couldn't say no to a free drink) - and they did discount the bill for it being so long WITHOUT us saying anything! So they KNEW something happened and totally owned up to it. I feel like a lot of places try to sweep it under the rug, but they apologized profusely and checked in with us. So the people were fantastic, but as far as food goes, wasn't enough to tempt me back when there is better steak in the area. read more

We came here after we heard from multiple people it was a must try. We made a reservation and were promptly seated when we checked in. The server was also at our table within a few minutes to get us kicked off with drinks. To our surprise they were doing a happy hour so we decided to order an app and bottle of wine from that menu to start. We got the charcuterie and a bottle of Malbec. The charcuterie we would not recommend, one of the worst we've had any where. It was very bare, with literally only one crostini, 2 slices of meat, a bit of cheese, and some berries throw on the plate. They actually had more greens on it than anything else. They also charged us 2 dollars just to get an additional crostini which I thought was a bit tacky. The Malbec was a great price and we thought it was very tasty. We also decided to order the garlic rolls with marinara. They were okay. We enjoyed how fluffy they were, but they didn't taste like garlic and the marinara came out cold, which was a disappointment. As for our entrees we both ordered a ribeye medium rare. Each steak comes with 1 side so one of us ordered the loaded baked potato and the other order asparagus. We ask our server to do double the toppings on the potato and to cut it in half because we plan to share. To our surprise, apparently the kitchen thought we were splitting the meal itself and cut our steaks in half instead. I was surprised the server even brought the steak out like that and didn't ask them to correct it. Our baked potato was missing the cheese and butter which was also disappointing. The steak was still tasty and cooked to correct temperature. Though the asparagus itself was over cooked. We would likely come back to enjoy some wine from the happy hour menu, and try a pasta or seafood dish instead next time. This was our second visit, and unfortunately, it was very disappointing. During our first visit, the service, food, and atmosphere were excellent, which is why we decided to return. But this time was completely different. After placing our order, we waited more than 30 minutes without receiving our food. Although we ordered first among nearby tables, other guests were already halfway through their meals while we still had nothing. Our server never checked on us, never made eye contact, and never came by our table. Eventually, I had to ask a manager-looking person for help, and only then did our food finally arrive. The manager brought the food, not the server. By that time, our baby got really fussy from waiting so long, and we couldn't enjoy the meal. The server never once asked how our food was, never checked on us, and didn't even bring the bill--we had to ask the manager again. While the manager apologized and gave us a 50% discount, the service we received was unacceptable. My husband still left a 15% tip based on the full bill before discount, but honestly, the server did not deserve even 5%. I regret not getting her name. I truly hope management provides proper training. I had recommended this restaurant before, but after this experience, I can no longer recommend it and don't plan to return. The way we were treated made us feel very unwelcome, and it even raised the question of whether race played a role, as we were the only Asian customers at the time. We're very unhappy and disappointed. Edited: After reading other reviews, I noticed that other Asian customers had similar experiences, which makes me even more upset. It seems like this restaurant is simply not a place where Asians are welcome, and I would strongly warn other Asians never to dine here. read more

My husband and I chose Tucci's for a lunch date this week. We wanted to check out the remodel and remember excellent experiences there before COVID. We were seated right away on the patio. It's lovely there and the service was great. Only request would be to open some of the windows on such a mild and sunny day! The food, however, left something to be desired. We ordered the sea salt focaccia appetizer. It came with olive oil and black truffle butter. The bread was bland--not salty at all but sprinkled with herbs. It did not seem super fresh. The butter lacked flavor as well. We found ourselves adding salt from the table. We both wished there had been seasoning in the olive oil. Bread service, especially when paid for as a menu item, should be a standout. This was lacking. We both ordered lunch combos. The clam chowder and Caesar salads were good. The flatbread, however, was soggy, under seasoned, and had an unpleasant burnt taste to it-- not a wood fired burn taste, but like when lighting fluid is thrown on charcoal on a grill. My husband's turkey club was okay, but he found it didn't seem super fresh either. It was disappointing. We spent about $50 on our lunch date. We didn't order wine or cocktails because the pricing was a bit of sticker shock for us. We didn't speak up at the restaurant because the servers were so kind. Unfortunately for Tucci's there are many other restaurants in walking distance that have the upper hand on the food scene. It was packed, so our server was a little slow but with a full house, you can't expect speedy service. I got a Cab from Sonoma County, and it didn't disappoint. What did disappoint was the $18 dessert wine I got. It pretty much came out in a thimble. It was good, but for $18 I would have rather gotten 2 more pieces of tiramisu. This place is amazing! Came in on a Tuesday night for dinner. Had a hankering for scallops, and they did not disappoint! Started with a glass of Chardonnay and a side/dinner salad. Wine was good but salad was outstanding! The garlic vinegarette dressing was crazy good when balanced with the Gorgonzola cheese. Nice variety of cucumbers, tomatoes and almond slivers all served over spring greens. But the highlight was the scallops. Who would have ever thought setting 4 large sea scallops over rice on a bed of applesauce with other veggies and apple slices sprinkled in would be a dish, but man, what a dish! I know applesauce to pair with pork. Usually helps the dried out piggie retain some flavor, but the scallops were exquisitely cooked and just damn good. Tucci's has one of the most beautiful patios in the entire city. It's got plenty of space, a huge canopy over head, gorgeously placed flowers and plants, and even a few torches. The ambiance in the summertime is bar none. Tonight we had the Duo Dip which is a cheese dip and Guacamole with chips and the Tucci's pizza without pepperoni. Both were really good. I had the Angel Hair Pasta and it was delicious. My husband and his mom had salads that looked really good with sides of mashed potatoes and sides of asparagus. We were thinking about getting dessert but our waitress didn't ask us if we wanted any and just brought us the check.
