My friends and I came here for a birthday dinner this weekend and had a pretty great time. They set us up in a private room since we had a larger party. The waiter was new but was very nice and explained the menu thoroughly. We shared some appetizers, I ordered a chai tai, and the chicken parm. I tried the garlic rolls, they were delicious obviously. You can never go wrong with garlicky bread and marinara sauce. The chicken parm was a very generous portion, the sauce was great. I didn't love the chicken, but I am very weird about meat and that's not necessarily the restaurants fault. It was still very good, I would probably just order something else next time. I've been here before and had a great time then as well! I shared the chocolate lava cake with my friend for dessert and it was so good. It's very rich so neither of us would have been able to finish the whole thing ourselves, but definitely worth every bite. I will definitely be back, I've had two great experiences and hope to try more of their menu! read more

Best patio of Columbus. We specifically came here to check out the restaurant after walking by and seeing how nice the patio was. Patio seating is now first come first served for seating rather than reservation like before. You have a time limit of 2 hours to allow others the opportunity for patio dining, which is very reasonable. We came here during happy hour which offers $2 off certain drinks and discounts on certain appetizers. We split the bruschetta and it was so fresh. You can tell they use high quality ingredients from the bread to the tomatoes to the mozzarella. For my entree, I ordered the chicken piccata for $25. It was the best piccata I've ever had. The chicken was breaded perfectly and the lemon piccata sauce was soo flavorful. Will definitely be back to try more menu items, especially now that I see live music is back! read more

We chose Tucci's to celebrate very special birthday, but we were very disappointed by the taste of the food. Let me begin with the positives. We sat in the front of the restaurant and the room has been nicely renovated. The atmosphere was quite bright and cheerful on a dreary day. There was a very nice Birthday Card on our table upon our arrival. The temperature of the room was cool, but I'm sure on a warmer day it would be just fine. Our server Abigail was very nice! She was attentive and helpful in every way. We began our celebration by ordering two orders of the Spiced Honey Rolls. Excited to try them we quickly regretted that choice. The fried bread dough was tough and the pecan syrup on the bottom of the plate was grainy and unappetizing. We all agreed that the coffee was very strong. Even my husband who typically likes strong coffee agreed. My son said his Bacon and Cheddar Omelette was swimming in oil. I found the Canadian bacon on the Eggs Benedict to be quite salty and I've never had Canadian bacon that was shredded? Regardless, four of us ordered it and we all thought the ham was salty. Also, my mother-in-law's hamburger patty was dry and it was her birthday. Finally, the two small cheesecakes Abigail brought out for her birthday was not very good. We were never given the opportunity to order dessert, but if the desserts tasted like the mini cheesecakes that is probably for the best. The gesture was nice, but she is not a fan of cheesecake. I love cheesecake, but after tasting these, I have to say I'm not a fan either! Overall, I was just so disappointed by our food and I couldn't believe this was the same Tucci's that I could always count on for an exceptional dining experience. :( read more

My wife and I haven't been to Tucci's since well before Covid, and not since they remodeled the place adding the large front patio enclosure. We picked it for date night, and made plans for an early dinner on a Tuesday. I'm glad we had reservations, because the place filled up soon after we arrived at 5:30. We were seated in a prime spot - a table for two right in the middle near the windows. It was a very nice place to be, and the facility has nice high-end finishes and was super clean. Our service was excellent as well, and in particular our waitress provided the perfect mix of attentiveness without intrusiveness. So why only three stars? The food was nothing special, but is priced as if it were. I enjoyed two glasses (6 oz) of a nice Malbec, and my wife had one gin cocktail that she enjoyed even though it was overly sweet. We shared a short rib arancini appetizer, and it was okay. The salads too were just okay - an unimaginative spinach salad for her, and a soggy and basic Caesar for me. For dinner my wife ordered the chicken diablo pasta, that she said was fine, but that Figlio's was much better. I had a New York strip steak with creamed spinach and a crab cake kicker. The steak was an average cut and was a bit over done - I asked for medium, but it was more like medium well rendering it dry at the edges. The spinach was bland and heavy, and the crab cake had few lumps and did not taste very fresh. I was also surprised that a fine dinning establishment only offered one dinner special, and found the regular menu to be a bit limited. We considered desert, but saw nothing interesting so we just skipped it and walked over to Jenni's. Our meal, including the drinks, a shared app, salads, and entrees came to over $260 with tip included. I'm a foodie, and have no problem paying top dollar for a great meal, but based on our experience this is not good value for money. Like several other Dublin restaurants, Tucci's seems to leverage the nice location and the "being seen" part of the experience more than the quality of the cuisine. I noticed that many of the previous reviews focus on how nice the facility and the newly remodeled patio are, but for me this misses the point. I've had better meals in more modest establishments and for much less money. read more

We were so excited to eat here and the menu looked outstanding. Unfortunately it did not live up to the hype for us. We were seated immediately but then were sitting for 15 minutes and nobody had come to our table -lots of servers around but they just kept skipping us. We finally went to the hostess stand to let them know nobody had been by and they sent someone over within a few minutes. Our server was super sweet and attentive, drinks were great but food was sub par at best. We heard the calamari was amazing but it was just okay. Came in the form of sticks which doesn't exactly scream high quality to me. Sauces were good. We split the mussels and the chefs special which was a lobster and shrimp risotto. Mussels were stinky and tasted off- the server was really sweet about it when we addressed it but there was a comment made about how mussels can sometimes be like that.... We are big seafood people, I eat mussels a few times a month, we are very familiar with what they should smell and taste like. The sauce had tomatoes in it which looked like they were thrown in after the sauce was cooked because they weren't cooked down at all. Was just a weird combo- a warm sauce but uncooked tomatoes? They did end up taking it off the bill but we didn't even mention the risotto to her which was undercooked and neither of us could find a piece of lobster. Risotto had decent flavor but again seemed like it could use more cooking time when eating the sundried tomatoes and spinach in it. Overall it was a cool atmosphere but just really disappointing. Could get a much better meal for what we paid ($150 pre tip). read more

Braised Short Ribs were delicious, but the asparagus was very fibrous and hard to eat. The apps had lots of flavor. We tried a couple cocktails to start, and they were pretty good. My only complaint is that our party of five was crammed into a tiny booth. We technically had enough space on the bench width-wise, but the table was so close to everyone that it still felt so tight. Our waitress was super helpful when we were all trying to decide what to order. She was also attentive. I would go back as long as I can sit somewhere different! read more

This was on my list for Restaurant Week, but we didn't make it. I made a reservation for Saturday night (the day after Val Day so the only available was 9 pm). I had never been, but knew I'd driven past a thousand times. In my mind, it was in the space that is J Liu, so we parked behind that building and walked around. Wrong. We got back in the car and parked in the lot across the street (thinking it was on that side) and walked over to the correct address. We were early, and there weren't any seats at the bar, so we walked back to move the car closer. We found a spot right by the garage. Yikes, and completely my fault. We then were able to find 2 seats at the bar to grab a drink before our table was ready. It gets really crowded in the entry with people waiting. The 2 bartenders were friendly. I had the Tucci Tini - blueberries and vodka. My husband had a beer. Our visit from then on went more smoothly. Our server was awesome. We were in a booth in the back corner and sat side by side facing the rest of the restaurant. We each ordered a glass of wine and started with salads. My Fig & Arugula was good, but didn't wow me. The Macadamia Salmon, which I was excited about ordering, was amazing. I would get it again. The salmon was perfect and everything (arugula, orzo, pineapple slaw, citrus aioli) with it all went so well together. I saw a dessert on their Val Day dinner menu via Facebook that I was hoping they were still offering: Strawberry Macadamia Nut Trifle. Our server mentioned it after handing us the dessert menu. My husband had their Tiramisu. Both were very good. Each table had a complimentary bag of valentine chocolates to take home. My wife and I went there for a special night and were underwhelmed. We've been there a few times. -We had a bad table near the bathroom ramp. -Service wasn't good. -The crustini with pistachio cream was a good start. -The shrimp cocktail sauce is literally Heinz ketchup. Don't order that. I asked about it and they said that's the way it's supposed to be. I get the classic "this is shrimp cocktail" but Heinz ketchup, come on. We're sitting in a teal room with a water fountain, it's not a classic steakhouse and the dish could have one aspect of scratch. -I had the Waygu filet which was very good. No complaints there. -Margarita was bad. -Martini was good. Tucci's did certain things well and other things not so well. Overall, disappointed for price point. Unfortunately being so early in the evening I don't think they were prepared to start serving. It took a good amount of time for our waiter to show up then a lot of time to get our drinks. That being said...he was a really nice guy which helped. This was my first time ordering crab cakes! So delicious. The sauce is so good. A little spicy. Comes with slaw, good stuff but I added some pepper. Kids devoured their food. My son loves piccata and this did not disappoint. I love the way they do their capers! Perfectly Poached Eggs, great ambiance and a good waiter still can't make up for a dismal $30 Wagu steak dish that is , other than the eggs, a dismal failure. Now you could use the excuse that it's a holiday weekend and all that, but Tucci's has been in business for around 30 years, including numerous holiday weekends; and my husband and I have been patrons since the doors opened. Today's experience is just one example of the reasons why we have visited less and less frequently over the past couple of years. Back to the food: I ordered my Wagu Medium, which doesn't seem like it would be so very hard to do, especially for a restaurant that claims to specialize in steak and seafood. But, again, I digress. My steak was three different temperatures: medium rare, medium, and hammered. The roasted potatoes that accompanied the steak and eggs were flaccid at best. Where was the crispy exterior one expects from a roasted potato? Just a flash of exposure to the fryer that produces their exceptional Parmesan fries would have made all the difference. I won't even mention how Steve tried to bribe me into not publishing a review by offering 50% off my entree. We'll give you 6 weeks to improve, then we'll be back to review this dish again. read more

I don't venture out to Dublin, Ohio very often but when the book club meets at Tucci's, I end up at Tucci's. The restaurant itself is located in a cute, kitschy part of Dublin. Parking was a HUGE pain but I managed to snag a spot. The interior of the place is refined and gives off a Sinatra-esque mafioso vibe. My group was seated in the back at a large table in front of a large mirror. I found the mirror a little off-putting but maybe they're doing it to make the space larger.. Our waitress was super friendly and did her best to be attentive. Because it was restaurant week, they were super busy and she seemed frazzled. Sometimes service was slow but since we had a book to review, we didn't mind. The meal itself was excellent. I had the edamame which was tasty. I appreciated the way they seasoned it. I also had the house salad that was very good. My main course was the 6 oz filet with asparagus. It was cooked to perfection and was an excellent meal. Overall, I had a nice time at Tucci's. If I were to come back, I'd try to return during a time other than during restaurant week to see if that would make the experience a little better. read more

I originally made a reservation for brunch inside, but upon arriving I was given the option to sit outside in their covered tent/patio. I'm so glad we were able to do that! It's a really nice space with super high ceilings and lots of plants around. We started with the warm honey rolls, which were really good and comforting. I ordered the eggs Benedict and swapped avocado for the Canadian bacon. I was surprised 3 eggs came with the order as opposed to the usual 2. I was extremely full at the end! The eggs were poached nicely and the hollandaise sauce was tasty. I also had a Manhattan, which was solid. My boyfriend ordered the chorizo omelet without avocado and said it was good. Another at our table ordered the brioche french toast, and it looked amazing. Our server was really friendly and attentive. My niece can't have dairy so she double checked there wouldn't be any in the scrambled eggs. Great experience overall! read more

So I've been wanting to try this restaurant for the longest time because I live two minutes away from it. I finally did the other day and it was so good! I had such a pleasant experience ordering and picking up my to-go meal from the hostess, everyone was so kind and easy to speak with. I was a bit hesitant to try the restaurant in the past because I didn't think there would be anything vegetarian for me thankfully they did have a few items. I went with their angel hair pasta plus they added more vegetables for me after mentioning I was vegetarian. For dessert I went with crème brûlée which I am an absolute sucker for and they were also doing to-go drinks, so I got a glass! I will be trying them again soon! read more

The day after Thanksgiving, 10 of us went to Tucci's for our annual "ladies' luncheon". Our group ranged in age from 5 to 90 years old. We had a 12:30 reservation. We were seated right on time, and for the next 90 minutes had nothing but water. Two ladies asked for a cup of coffee and a hot chocolate for our 5-year-old, and it took 30 minutes. Our server took our order in prompt fashion, but we literally got no food until 2:00. Nobody brought us a basket of bread, offered an appetizer or even an explanation for the excessively long wait time, or a simple apology for the delay. The restaurant was not overly busy that day. There were no other tables seated in our section. It was very difficult to sit for an hour and a half with a small child and 2 ladies 85 and 90 years old and drink water and coffee. By 2:00, we were all starving. My sister has gone on Tucci's website twice in the last 10 days and requested a call from a manager, and nobody has responded. That pretty much sums up exactly how we were treated that day - they just completely ignored us. This was a very disappointing experience and unfortunately, we will not be returning. UPDATE: Michael-are you saying it is OUR FAULT and was OUR RESPONSIBILITY to approach YOU? Your front of the house managers knew exactly what was happening at our table and they chose to do NOTHING. We were the guests and you were the hosts - why didn't YOUR management make the effort to come to our table and apologize, explain the delay and/or offer us something to tide us over during our 90 minute wait? What a cop-out! And I don't believe for one minute that neither one of my sister's messages on your site went through. You have just made a bad situation worse by trying to put the onus on us. YOU were disappointed??? What about your guests? And just for clarity, my family owns and operates a wholesale food service business in Northeast Ohio and we have serviced independent restaurants since 1975, so I know exactly how front of house and back of house operate. read more

This restaurant was a great choice for an early dinner. We enjoyed several of the half price appetizers since we were there between 3-6pm happy hour. All items were very delicious. We each sampled a different soup and they were great as well. By far the entree of Braised Beef short ribs was our favorite, perfectly cooked and the portion was large enough to share. We chose the Warm Pecan Chocolate Chip cookie sundae for dessert and it was the perfect way to end a wonderful meal. The service was outstanding and all CoVid 19 precautions were in place we felt very safe and pleased with our total dining experience. We will be back for sure. read more

We went to Tucci's for brunch since we always passed their amazing patio. I was a little nervous about the dress code, but there was a variety of people dressed up and down. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurant. The crab cake appetizer was delicious with not too much filling. The avocado toast with fruit was delicious but not overfilling. My husband enjoyed his eggs Benedict. Since we were celebrating a new job opportunity, they brought out champagne and crème brûlée. Such a nice touch to an already delicious meal. read more

The new Fourseasons room is beautiful, but it's a bit loud and there's no music playing. I'm sure this is because of all the glass and hard surfaces. I would also bet live music will be back this spring. Service was good, but a bit slow. They never actually asked us if we enjoyed our meal. Also note...the food was run out by a different person and she just kinda plopped the plates down and ran, not very personal. Cocktails and wine were great, and seem to be where Tucci's really shines. The mussels were an excellent appetizer. Caesar salad really lacks any distinct characteristic or presentation, could use a refresh. They need to stop using that waxy flavorless cheese. Meal presentation & composition were solid. I had the crabcakes and once again this could really use a refresh. The crabcakes come out hot and were served over a nice remoulade, but there was no "lumps" of crab to be found, accompanies by overcooked green beans & basic mashed potatoes. My wife had the black grouper, presentation was nice in appearance. But the fish was overcooked as well as the crispy polenta was burnt on the bottom.. My wife and I live in the area, and frequent the restaurants in downtown Dublin -- we were really looking forward to this re-opening.They may still be working out the kinks. I travelled to Dublin on work and went for dinner with the office crowd. So lots of food and lots of wine. We were seated on the patio and it was lovely. The wine selection was great. I had the l bruschetta and then the seared halibut. Very good choices. But then so was everyone else's. The only grouse would be about the slow service. We waited for almost 45 mins before someone served the starters and then the entrees took time as well. We were hungry since it was past 8 and we had to prompt the server. The seating in the patio is open and the weather was good to make us comfortable. It was a very relaxing dinner place. read more
