This was a weird one. The atmosphere is nice enough, more of a 'fancy diner' feel than anything else. The steak menu is hilariously overpriced - really, $43 for a 6oz steak? That's more than even the highest end steakhouses in Columbus. The entire steak menu is really frustrating as it's basically off limits for anyone with common sense. Limited (by my common sense) to the pastas/seafood, ended up getting the Walleye. It was cooked well and had a good seasoning, flavorful. The pastas that others ordered also looked really good and had positive reception. The drinks we ordered were partially out of stock and we had to order different drinks - I guess restaurant week had caused a shortage of liquors. Service was OK, friendly but fairly slow. Had multiple times our waitress just walked on by as if we weren't there and we needed drink refills. For the price, I think there are better options in the Dublin area - not sure why this place seems to think they are worth high-end prices. It's just OK! read more

I've been in love with Tucci's since moving to Dublin in 2013. They've been through it lately being made to take down their patio structure, but their patio is better than ever. One of my favorite times to eat there is brunch! It's one of the few places in Dublin that has a Friday brunch and it doesn't disappoint! We had brunch here today and had high hopes, we've had great experiences at Tucci's in the past. But man this was a letdown. I ordered the tomato and burrata salad for my meal, I assumed it was an entree salad because of the price ($14). I figured that was fair for a salad with no protein. It was a SIDE salad! Ok my mistake. I can get over that. But later I pulled up pictures on yelp and google and those same salads look very different than what I was served today. I got a few cherry tomatoes. Other pics look like maybe beefsteak? And I got a smear of burrata on some bread. That's barely a side salad, Tucci's. I'm with Elaine, I want a "big salad"! And if it's small it better be excellent. The husband had the burger. I later told him that was on him, why order a burger at an Italian joint (are they still Italian? What was with that weird tortilla chip and guacamole app that wasn't very good?) Burger was ordered medium, arrived well done. Not life ruining but the burger wasn't anything special, either. I rarely regret going out to a nice restaurant, but I did today. Maybe it was a fluke? We'll be back, the ambiance, service, cocktails and location are very good. We are well known at Tucci's since we visit nearly every weekend for brunch. We enjoy the food of course, or we would not return so often. But we really enjoy the staff, all of them. The udon noodle sounded good from the menu, so we tried it out. But it was very so so. The tuna had very fishy smell, and the noodle didn't have much seasoning to it. We decided to try Tucci's because it was nice but not too fancy shmancy, they have a great weekday happy hour and the outdoor tent seemed cozy. While we enjoyed our meals (short rib and New York strip), we really enjoyed our happy hour feast. The calamari strips and crab cakes were both excellent. Sometimes restaurants overcook seafood but it was cooked perfectly here. The crab cake came with a sizable portion of delicious coleslaw and the calamari had two dipping sauces. Drinks were strong and the peach margarita was incredible. All the apps and drinks were a few bucks cheaper on happy hour and the patio in the summer is sure to be amazing. Tucci's has been in downtown Dublin for many years. I had never been to their Sunday brunch and one of my friends wanted to give it a try. Tucci's is always quite busy and popular. I strongly encourage a reservation. We had reservations for a small group of four for their Sunday brunch. Park in either the new downtown Dublin parking garage or in the old public parking lot in back of the restaurant. Tucci's has added some the ability to enclose their patio for more all season dining. Their patio tends to be quite popular seating space, but did feel crowded and cramped. Restaurant has an upscale contemporary ambience. Brunch is more order an entree from their menu as opposed to a buffet style. That makes sense for this location as they pack the table and booths into the compressed interior. Booths are comfortable. Their brunch menu feels a bit limiting. For example, they offer three different omelets and three different sandwiches. Their "plates" offer some traditional eggs benedict, eggs your way and brioche french toast. Other items seem more like an evening dinner menu. The menu is selective and not very large. I had the spinach & mushroom omelet. I choose that one because they use goat cheese with it. Price was $14 for the omelet which came with home fries and a choice from their breads. The egg portion was light and fluffy. As for the ingredients, I found myself actually looking inside to see if there was any. In other words, there was a lot of egg, had some spinach, but honestly, I cannot recall tasting mushrooms or the goat cheese. The omelet was mediocre. Service was okay, but could have been more attentive. He forgot a couple requests where we had to ask again. Water glass ran dry. Seemed a little aloof and routine, but did check back for whether we needed anything else. One person in party ordered the Brioche French Toast and loved them. Another ordered the eggs benedict and was surprised there were three eggs, instead of usually two. Another ordered the chorizo avocado omelette, but really did not like it. My spinach mushroom omelet was okay, but I likely would not order it again. I don't go to Tucci's very often, but this experience is similar to past experiences. I know many love it, but my experiences have often been mediocre here. There are so many other restaurants in the downtown Dublin area that offer a more engaging, flavorful dining experience. read more

Service was awesome. Although when a cocktail goes wrong, as a past waitress, I would for surely try everything in my power to take it off the bill. That didnt happen here. The trio dips were yummy. Calamari fries were better and beer was cold. We had a great time. Shared a Filet and the special Tide Fish. Filet was a melt in your mouth steak. Awesome. The Tide Fish was tasteless. I loved the butternut apple topping and we had a 2 hour limit, which in turn we were told we had to be out in 1.5 hours because of another reservation, but that was ok, bc we were originally out in 90 degree weather. Came to Tucci's for brunch on the weekend. Love their patio seating area. Such a nice ambiance at the restaurant overall. Overall, fresh and tasty food were presented to us with attentive service. I did not want the bacon with my Belgian waffle, so they gave a side of mixed fruits instead, which I appreciated. My friend had the house salad, which she really enjoyed. I thought the garbanzo bean and edamame addition was great on the salad. I came here yesterday for the first time after several years and had to update my rating. The experience I had yesterday was completely different. Not sure if it's because of the menu change or what but everything we had was pretty much amazing. Our waitress, Jersey, was awesome! I ordered the fillet mignon with Oscar style crab meat and bernaisse paired with Gouda Mac and cheese. My steak was cooked perfectly. My husband ordered the pork hop which was well seasoned. For dessert, I had the chocolate lava cake. Best chocolate lava cake I've had. My husband is not much of a cake eater and he helped me eat it all, he said it was very good. I really liked the deal they had on wine and meals. They had a fixed three course meal and wine for retail price. The cocktails were good and strong as well. read more

After realizing that it would be best not to travel for Thanksgiving, my girlfriend and I decided to find a local restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner instead. We were glad that Tucci's was serving, as my girlfriend had been there before and had a good experience, though this was my first time. We were able to see the prix fixe menu in advance, and we liked the options, so it was an easy decision to go. We went at noon, which was admittedly early, but the restaurant clearly had some social distancing guidelines in place regarding seating. Our server was very friendly, and checked on us regularly throughout the meal. For the first course, my girlfriend chose the lemon and artichoke soup, while I chose the Caesar salad. Both of us found this course to be "fine," though there's a big caveat that our taste buds are still a bit wonky from having COVID a few weeks ago. The salad was very big, and I didn't want to ruin my appetite for the entree by eating all of it. The entrees were both very tasty. I was extremely grateful for the filet mignon option, and it really did hit the spot. I'm not an asparagus lover, so I left that alone, but the potato accompaniment was good as well, albeit a touch dry. My girlfriend had the more Thanksgiving-esque turkey breast with various familiar fixings, and she generally liked it, save for some of the taste issues that have been plaguing us for a few weeks (i.e. not at all Tucci's fault). We both capped off the meal with slices of tiramisu, and it was very satisfying, even though I'd argue that the strawberry drizzle was a little out of place alongside the chocolate drizzle. But that's really quite picky. Overall, a salad, filet mignon, and a good slice of tiramisu was great value for $50, and I think my girlfriend would say the same about her meal as well. Tucci's might not be up to the standard of a few other establishments we frequent, but we were very grateful for our Thanksgiving meal here, and wouldn't rule out a return someday. read more

I wanted to also share when I went there for my birthday last year I took an ice cream cake there and the staff didn't understand the cake was an ice cream cake even though I told them it needs to go in the freezer. Do to them not freezing my cake it completely melted. The manager was amazing and gave me all the desserts and our food for free along with $200 in gift certificates to make up for the cost of my cake and the candles I purchased. read more

Tucci's is an amazing restaurant but plan on spending on a good amount of money. Great date night place or place to take a company vendor. It located in Old Dublin in what looks like a hole in the wall. Has an adorable patio seating area and beautiful indoor intimate place. They have a very large wine selection from your $6 a glass to $300 bottle. The business men I was with said the steak was amazing and it looked like a nice juicy piece of meat. You will pay $40 - $165 for a good steak. I personally had Scallops that were so amazingly tasty. The corn and very crispy bacon pair greatly with the juicy scallops. Creme Brûlée is my all time favorite dessert and they do it right. Super creamy, thick and the best pudding flavor. The top was super crispy and sweet. Had to be broken with a spoon and went well with the fresh cut fruit and whipped cream. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great place. read more

No richness in flavor, very bland and not worth the $28, I expected more from a "fine dinning" establishment. My appetizer, fried calamari, was much better and wish I had ordered more of those instead. It was a crowed night, and I would've expected much better than what was served. Felt as though a chef in training or even a novice could've done a much better job! I hardly ever order desserts but I needed something to sweeten my tastebuds after the unfortunate dinner, however, the crème brûlée wasn't available because the torch wasn't working. Pretty much an ideal wine bar. The decor is warm and dark, and it's fairly small. Service was good, with a small flaw I'll get to. The food was excellent. They bring out some bread and dipping oil; good, not great. The bread was way too doughy; I think it needed a bit longer in the oven. I started with lobster bisque, which was excellent. Creamy, rich with flavor, and lots of shredded lobster on top. There were a lot of interesting things on the menu; I went with the Gorgonzola burger, since I didn't have to worry about my breath. Cheese, pickled onions, a great bun, fresh veggies, a perfectly-cooked burger, large and full of flavor. Sided with good fries, and a great salad- I picked the arugula, with candied walnuts, figs, great greens, etc. After I got my soup (very quickly) I waited half an hour for the burger. Seriously. I mean, I got it well done (steak rare to medium, thanks, but ground meat- cook it,) but it does not take that long to make a burger. I think it was a fluke. The waiter apologized a couple of times. I made it to work on time, and it all worked out. But I wish they'd said what was going on, and maybe brought the salad while I waited. Anyway- it's a great place. Excellent food. Good service. The gf and I came here for an anniversary dinner, and although the service was good, the food seemed mediocre to me, especially for the price. The waitress was amazingly helpful and nice, as was the hostess before we got seated. The bread/oil that was served before our meal was extremely tasty as well, however, the main courses we ordered seemed overly large, and very greasy/fatty, particularly the lasagna. The scallops were perfectly cooked, however, I found the dish needing more, especially the risotto, which seemed to need more flavor to it. Overall, I think I'd go back, but not for dinner. My husband has the sausage pasta and both were great. We also had the calamari. Their house sauce was perfect for the calamari. I've come across Tucci's several times while searching for happy hour places around Columbus, so I was glad to join a group of Meetup friends for brunch. Our waiter was a nice gentleman, brought out courtesy muffins of the mini size - lemon poppy seed. A nice addition to munch on as we waited for our choosing. After perusing the menu, I picked their Parma Eggs Benedict dish (I'm a sucker for pesto!). Comparing this dish to Bill's Traditional Benedict, I'm not sure if the prosciutto de parma on mine was as big a piece as Bill's slice of Canadian bacon... The hash browns were good, nothing spectacular, but filling. Soft warm English muffin was great (warm = easier to cut).
