If you're looking for a beautiful brunch spot with great vibes, CUT132 definitely delivers. The drinks were absolutely on point, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. The ambiance was intimate, upscale, and perfect for a date or celebrating a special occasion. As for the food, it looked incredible, but unfortunately the flavor didn't quite match the presentation. Everything was beautifully plated, but most dishes left me wanting a little more seasoning and depth. At $39 per person for their endless brunch experience, it's a solid value if you're looking to sample a variety of dishes. That said, I don't see myself returning for brunch. I would come back to give their dinner menu a try because the atmosphere and service alone make it worth another visit. Great drinks, amazing service, and a beautiful atmosphere but the brunch food didn't quite live up to the presentation. I'll be back for dinner, but I'd personally skip brunch next time. A friend and I finally visited Cut132 for brunch after seeing so many TikToks and IG ads about it. It's a Black-owned restaurant and we love diversity around here :) The restaurant is gorgeous! Very spacious, well lit, and their staff was friendly. Sadly, that's about it for the positives. Their concept of bottomless brunch is great, the culinary execution needs work. My best bites of the day were bacon and a caesar salad, but I feel like those things are pretty hard to mess up in general. The avacado toast was okay, my egg was overdone but it had decent flavor. The steak and eggs sucked, no other way to say it. My steak was overdone while simultaneously being undercooked in some areas. The potatoes tasted like they came straight out of a bag and into an air fryer, no seasoning, and stale. The donut holes were really disappointing. They came out cold, hard, lumpy, and dry. We were also supposed to be playing bingo, but no one ever brought us cards or even acknowledged the game. Someone won towards the end of our visit, but we never got the chance to play. CUT132 is a sleek, modern steakhouse situated on the first floor of Aloft. Our family of four visited from out of town and made reservations for a Saturday dinner at 5:30 pm. We were promptly seated at arrival. We shared the stuffed jumbo shrimp, 14-ounce wet-aged NY strip, 24-ounce dry-aged ribeye, sauteed mixture of wild mushrooms, and roasted broccolini with garlic. The shrimp is indeed jumbo however the mango chutney can be skipped. The mango was not ripe and lacked flavor. We requested medium rare for both steak. The ribeye is definitely a notch above the NY strip however, the steak temperature was leaning closer to medium. The side dishes' portions are very generous but a bit too salty. We were dining in to celebrate my husband's birthday and therefore we received a complimentary dessert. We went with the flourless chocolate cake with hazelnut ganache and strawberries. The dessert was rich and decadent. Service was attentive and friendly. In general, the food was pretty good; however, some of the items that was supposed to be hot was cold and some of the food was overcooked. For example, the waffles and the syrup were cold. The Bananas Foster was cold, too. The lobster tails were dry and overcooked. The winners of the show, though were the king crab and the shrimp were yummy . Well since this was my first visit I would say the atmosphere is very inviting and pretty decor . The food definitely reminded me of hotel food for a buffet . The pancakes I had were delicious. The other options were eggs and potatoes with a meat option. They also had other options like waffle , steak and eggs . The desserts were good . They had a variety to try so our table got to try them all and they were shareable . The buffet did have wings , macaroni and cheese , spaghetti, and salad fruit and tossed . We made reservations on a Saturday at 12:15pm to celebrate my fiancé's birthday. We ate here once before when they first opened and the menu seems to have changed to more of a buffet style. It also seems like the quality of food has changed since our first experience. Our wait time for our Main Event Avocado Toast was longer than expected and it was cold when it did arrive. I did like the items for the Endless Encore. My fiancé ordered the Captains Cut that came with crab legs, oysters and shrimp cocktail. She seemed to enjoy it. I came for the first time for their $35 Endless Encore Brunch on Saturday morning. It is served on weekends, 10:30 am-3 pm. It is actually table buffet. You can choose as much food from the menu as you think you can eat. Our server was really nice and explained how it works. There is an additional seafood option for $15, and the Mimosa (I had the peach) is $21. This seemed pricy, but I looked at the price of cocktails which were all around $20. It did say with one refill. Our server told us refills are $1. I had one refill. Not sure about the disconnect from what the menu has, but I wasn't going to haggle over a dollar. My friend had coffee for $5. The Preludes are actually small plates, which we appreciated as to not fill up right away. We tried the Buttermilk Biscuits, Bacon, Turkey Sausage, Deviled Eggs, Wings, Breakfast Potatoes and Fresh Fruit. The Main Event plates were regular entree size. I had the Scramble and Peach Cobbler Pancake. My friend had the Steak & Eggs. We finished with the Strawberry Shortcake. The food was pretty good. Some better than others. $35 is fair for the amount of food we had. I wouldn't get the $21 Mimosa again. A few of the small plates did not come out hot. My friend thought the steak was fine but lacked seasoning. We loved the potatoes that were cubed. The shortcake could have been lighter but the strawberry sauce and cream were good. They also offer a buffet, which included salad, wings, bacon, mac and cheese, biscuits, and fruit--such a nice variety. My friends ordered the steak and eggs and the crab legs, and both looked amazing. I decided to try the Cinnamon Toast Crunch French toast--it was okay, but I think it would've been much better with a little more syrup. The service was one of the best parts of the experience. I saw a TikTok about the brunch here and knew I immediately needed to go. Disappointed is an understatement. It possibly may be the worst buffet style brunch I've ever been to. It was extremely mediocre door the cost. The cold seafood options are what draws the crowd but the crab was flavorless and tasted like sea water. It was a warmer day so we got to sit right next to the large windows that were open. We were greeted by our host who offered us the drink menu. We are both sober so we asked about mocktails. There were 2 options. Wish there were more but we had options. We then went on to order our appetizer, the crispy calamari. It came out in a timely manner. The name fit the dish well. It was crispy & delicious! The peppers and onion were a nice touch, and the lemony tarter type sauce was a hit! Our dishes came out- I ordered the Colorado lamb and my wife the short ribs. My lamb chops came out perfectly cooked- medium. Served on puréed sweet potato and sautéed spinach. Everything married well! My wife's short ribs were so tender & flavorful with the mushroom gravy & roasted broccolini. We ordered a side of seeet potato mash. It came out with a charred marshmallow and a crumble on top. She had the best personality, went over everything on the drink/food menu with us, and was super hospitable! Love, love, loved her! Drinks - We loved our drinks! My husband had the Cut & Smoked Old Fashioned and I had the White-Collar Crimes. The White Collar Crimes was basically a spiked red sangria served with a Martha Stewart CBD gummy. I also had the Bumps and Bubbles which was a bump of caviar served with icy champagne (for $35). I learned that I am not a fan of caviar; however, enjoyed the experience of finally getting the chance to try caviar! Food - Complimentary Bread: The complimentary bread was served with butter topped with black Hawaiian salt. It was good! We also used some of the leftover pieces of the complimentary bread with pieces from our charcuterie board. Charcuterie Board: We loves all of the pieces on our charcuterie board. Some of my faves were the blueberry vanilla goat cheese, the spicy peach jam, and the pickled yellow peppers! My husband described the charcuterie board the best - it was full of savory, sweet, and sour flavors! Ribeye: My husband ordered the ribeye. He ordered it medium and it was cooked to perfection! This is the perfect description of the dish - everything complimented each other well in the dish; however, I did not "taste" any Korean spices (and I'm Korean). It was still delicious though! I truly enjoyed my visit to Cut 132. We went for Valentine's Day and they did not disappoint. The service was spectacular. The management came out and greeted us. He was very pleasant. The food was out of this world. The steak melted in my mouth and the sea bass was some of the best I've ever had. Cut 132 is the first place that made a ponzo sauce that I actually enjoyed. I knew I was taking a shot in the dark ordering something that I don't normally enjoy. But I'm glad I risked it. And the rainbow carrots served with the sea bass was cooked to perfection. With the bread pudding, I almost lost my head over it. I truly have nothing to compare it to, as I've never had bread pudding before. But I can't imagine anyone improving on it. 100% would go back. We had Sunday brunch today to celebrate my husband's birthday. We have eaten at cut 132 a few times in the past and had delicious meals each time, this time however was a truly terrible experience from start to finish. Sunday brunch consists of a small buffet and several made to order items from the menu for 35$ with an optional seafood addition for $15. The food on the buffet, Mac and cheese, breakfast items and chicken were over cooked and dry. It was clearly prepackaged frozen food. To be honest the Golden Corral buffet is better. The items ordered from the menu were extremely slow in coming. The entrees were at least 20-25 minutes for each order. We waited 45 minutes for for dessert, that was dry and unappealing. The pancakes and French toast were served without butter, or whipped cream. Every one at the table ordered steak and eggs and they brought 5 steaks and 5 eggs on one plate! The best part of the dinner was the crab legs, but good luck getting butter to dip it in. We saw very little of our server. The table next to us had a fabulous server with food coming out frequently, they even had butter! Considering the price was $50 per person, we will not be back for brunch. I was excited to try something local and had the opportunity to check out a few stores in the area. Dawson was our server and he made great recommendations for everyone in our party based on their interests and dietary needs. I wasn't in the mood for meat so I opted for a kale salad and mac and cheese. The salad was paired with a carrot-ginger dressing, which I enjoyed. I wish the salad would have been chopped but it was fine. The mac and cheese was disappointing. The cheese sauce was watery and lacked flavor. I never send food back but the mac and cheese came close. I finished my meal the the blueberry cheesecake and it was delicious.
