We actually came in for my spouse's birthday. There was a $25 off coupon in the app. So make sure to sign up for that!! The service was really good. We got the full regular experience. The meat was delicious too! And it kept coming!! Kids eat free as well. It was nice!

TLDR; The service was extremely slow and disorganized, and no one cares about customers. Be prepared to waste alot of time waiting for food and service! Fogo de Chao has been our go-to AYCE steakhouse for the past 10 years. However, after this disappointing ~$300 experience, this was the first time we considered going to a different steakhouse for future occasions. We were visiting from out of town for the holidays and found out there was a Fogo in Columbus. Came here with a party of 4 for a special celebration. All of us got the churrasco for $49 per person. The staff seemed moody and the tableside service was slow. The first red flag was when we initially sat down and received the cheese bread and none of the other sides. We were confused and wondered if Fogo had stopped offering the plantains, yuca fries and mashed potatoes. After waiting a *long* time for our server to come back, we ended up asking one of the gauchos who was passing by our table if they still served them. He was surprised we didnt get them yet so he flagged the server to finally bring us the sides. All 4 of us had our green marker on the entire time and it was atleast 10 minutes in between when the first and second gauchos came by with meat. We were all waiting what felt like forever in between all the meats. We mostly ended up filling up on the salad bar and sides 30 minutes into the meal. Even though the restaurant was about 40% occupied, there were only 2 gauchos going around with tableside service. There was a 15-20 minute period that we noticed no meat on the floor at all. How can you not have any meat available for that long as an AYCE steakhouse with that many customers? It just seemed like they were either understaffed or being cheap and skimping on meats intentionally (maybe both?). We had to request a specific meat cut twice before someone finally brought it to our table, and this was already 30 mins after we asked the first time. On another note, this is the first Fogo we have been to where the servers didnt ask us about steak doneness levels. One gaucho came by with ribeye and it was EXTREMELY well done (tough and inedible). Seemed like they overcooked it and were trying to get rid of it by offering it up to unlucky customers. And to top all this off, our server was noticeably upset and moody the whole time. We were never offered any refills on our drinks or sides so we had to ask her for those as well. At this point, we just accepted that all the employees were just doing the absolute bare minimum for service. Overall, this was the worst experience we've ever had at Fogo. The lousy service ruined the mood since this was supposed to be a happy celebratory lunch. Would not visit again. This is just one of those places you regret tipping at.

5/5 This was our first time trying the new Fogo De Chão Brazilian Steakhouse in Polaris, and WOW we were blown away! We've always gone to Texas de Brazil at Easton and, while the concept is similar, Fogo De Chão was on another level. Truly twice as good in every way. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was absolutely top tier. The entire place inside, outside, and even the women's restrooms was spotless and beautifully kept. We had reservations for 4:30 PM on a Friday and arrived about 5-10 minutes late, which led to a short wait in the entrance seating area. We were originally supposed to be seated right in the front, but we asked for a different option and I'm so glad we did. They placed us in a private event-style room that usually fits around 40 people, and we had the whole section to ourselves for most of the time. It made our experience feel extra special and intimate. Now, the food... absolutely unforgettable. We had: * Garlic parmesan chicken * Bacon-wrapped steak * Sirloin steak * Pork * pork sausage * Pork belly that literally melted in your mouth * Bronzino fish * Buttery mashed potatoes * Brazilian-style black beans * Brazilian cheese bread (amazing!) * Grilled cheese that was unbelievable especially when the server drizzled honey over it * Smoked salmon with capers * Fresh sides and salads from the self-serve bar All of the meats were brought around by the servers, and everything every single thing was hot, fresh, flavorful, and extremely high quality. You could truly taste the difference. Overall, I would give this experience 10/10. It exceeded every expectation, and we will absolutely be returning. Also worth mentioning they're open on Thanksgiving!

I know this is a chain, but it still offers my favorite churrasco experience in Columbus. I also prefer their feijaoda bar over some of the other Brazilian places. I feel like they have more exotic fruits and unique salads. My favorite cuts have to be their picanha and bacon wrapped meats. The peppered thick cut bacon makes it top notch. I'm not much of a sauce person. I like it when the freshness and quality of the raw ingredients shine, and that's how Fogo de Chao shines. They have a pretty good HH too at the bar, so if you're looking for a special night out and have a good appetite, come experience a meat lover's dream. Although, a vegetarian would be quite happy at their sides and accoutrements bar too.

Pros -Quality of meats -Sour mocktail was one of the best I had -Honey cheese option -Cheese bread -Interior Con -Salad bar choices are okay, barely any warm items -Had to ask for short rib, never stopped by us -Filled out a form during reservation stating it was our anniversary and our restrictions like pork, but it was obvious that no one looked at that, because we were offered pork options throughout the night, would have been nice to be offered more of what we could have, many things are sausage or wrapped in bacon -Didn't care for the mashed potatoes, I would skip -Caramelized bananas were soggy -Polenta fries too salty -Since price is more than Texas de Brazil, I would rather go there with more salad bar options and they always bring around short rib

Finally got the chance to visit the new Brazilian restaurant that recently opened on Polaris Parkway called Fogo de Chão. They are located in over 20+ states & several countries. They bring all various types of meat including chicken, pork chops, and every kind of steak you can imagine to your table hot + fresh off the fire and slice it for you at your table. In addition you are able to select your sides from the brazilian market place bar. Premium sides are served from the kitchen. The waitress Gee-Gee and manager Armando at this location were the absolute BEST! They treated us like really good family, including bringing me a purse rack to the table to hold my purse! Beautiful ambiance, the biggest fully stocked alcohol bar, it was truly a wonderful kind of dining experience that we never had but LOVED! We definitely plan to return for their brunch, which we heard was top tier! They can be quite pricy, but check out the menu ahead of time so that you know what you're walking into. At the end of the day, make a reservation, and go! You won't be disappointed!

I've been to Fogo twice now since it opened and it's one of my favorite new restaurants! I've been to the NYC location so I knew that it was going to be amazing! It's beautifully decorated and the ambiance is great. We opted for the Full Churrasco which included the passed meats and the market table. The meat was excellent and if I didn't see something I wanted I just asked and they sent it our way. I loved the market table but I wish there were more hot items on it. The second time we went it was for Mother's Day brunch and I really wish there were waffles or French toast or something like that. The cocktails were also very good. I tried the skinny Caipirinha and the Bloody Mary. I saw someone else drinking a delicious looking lemonade- I will definitely try that next time! I've already made another reservation and can't wait to go back!

Check out sausage... looks like it is left over from Halloween. Fingers from the return of the dead. It is so burnt No one bring fresh plate Keep recycling the same cut meat until I ask.. I thought you have this and and that... This is the worst fogo I have been. Define "de Chão"...comida da terra

I went to this location when it was an O'Charley's, but very happy it became Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse for my early birthday celebration with my friend/second mother. The cold bar with salad with Brazilian corn. I loved the Cheese bread too. The meats and mashed potatoes was filling. Green is Go and Red is Stop when the meat servers continuously come to the table with different meats. Everything was delicious especially the fried bananas with brown sugar. The lobster was great too. The service was excellent and the staff with an international flair love their jobs and giving the best of making the patrons feel more like family. Anna, Tiara, and whole staff love coming to work. It was the best Brazilian Steakhouse that I have ever been to.

They have a menu of items you can try in order off of, but my sister and I got the buffet and we're sure glad that we did. They had some salad bar items and then hot bar items with different items that rotate daily. In addition, they had a gentleman carving beautifully cooked steak, lamb, and sausage at your request. Everyone that worked there was super nice and helpful. Multiple people stopped by to check on us and welcome us. All the food was delicious and we picked out a few desserts to take home from the bakery (not included in the buffet price). There's also a little Brazilian market attached to the restaurant that is worth checking out as well. The restaurant itself had a really nice vibe with exposed brick walls. One of the women working told us that happy hour is from 12 to 8 but I will have to come back and try one of their cocktails at some other point. I will definitely be back.

But inside isn't all that flavorful. Cream cheese filling adds a creaminess and the chicken itself doesn't do much. 4 3. Burger is juicy, tender, and seasoning is present but not the main show. The egg adds an umami and the bun is sweet. This burger relies heavily on the mayo which maybe I'm crazy but it taste way better than normal mayo. Ham doesn't really add anything and the bacon adds a crunch and flavor. 6 house mayo 4. Picanah is tender and so well flavored. Juicy and the fat melts away. 9 the fried yuca has a great typical yuca taste but isn't salted. I'd like to have some seasoning or flavor contrast. But dipping the yuca in the juices of the picanah solves all the problems. 8. Adding Brazilian chimichurri is ok. Not my favorite style of chimichurri. Mixing chimi and house made meyo combo with the yuca flour is 10 bite. Super good 5. Beans are soft and tender. Beans flavor but no seasoning. 4.5 after adding the yuca flour it helps a little bit but beans aren't for me. 6. Picanah sandwich is amazing. Adds the flavor of that picanah to the delicious house made mayo. This sandwich doesn't rely so heavily on the mayo. I reslly enjoyed this. I'd like it more if the bread wasn't so much. The chimichurri mixes really well with their house made mayo. Fatty with a tang. Tender and juicy. This might be a 10 if the bread wasn't so thick and bready 9.5

When I tried logging into my rewards account, I was told I was no longer a member despite having received rewards emails in the past. I signed up again because new members are also supposed to receive 25% off their first visit, so I assumed one of those promotions would apply. When I arrived, I explained the situation to the host, who assured me it wouldn't be a problem. My reservation was marked as a birthday celebration, and the ticket given to my server also noted both my birthday and rewards membership status. When it came time to pay, no discount had been applied. I explained the situation again and showed proof of my account. The server brought over a manager, who told me that my account was likely deleted when they switched rewards systems a few months ago. Despite acknowledging that the problem was probably caused by their system, he refused to honor either the birthday promotion or the new-member promotion. His response was essentially, "Maybe next visit if it's still not working." There won't be a next visit. What made the situation even worse was that this was supposed to be my birthday dinner. Nobody acknowledged my birthday, despite it being noted on the reservation and ticket. It felt like nobody cared. The service throughout the meal was also disappointing. We repeatedly had to request specific meats because servers kept coming around with the same few options, mostly chicken and flank steak. For a restaurant that charges premium prices and advertises a wide variety of meats, that experience fell far short of expectations. I left feeling frustrated, dismissed, and honestly heartbroken. A birthday dinner should be a special experience, not one that ends with a customer feeling ignored and upset. Between the rewards issue, the manager's unwillingness to make things right, and the poor service, this was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences I've had. I've been here before and had a wonderful experience, which is exactly why I chose Texas de Brazil for my birthday. Unfortunately, this visit was so different from my previous one that it was hard to believe I was at the same restaurant.

Rodizio is a "churrascaria," which is a Brazilian restaurant specializing in barbecue. Located in the heart of the arena, District, Rodizio is a singular dining destination. Nothing quite like it anywhere nearby. There is a full salad bar, which is more like a food bar in actuality. Selections include traditional salad items of course, but also selections of pastas, vegetables, and other hot and cold food selections, as what can be best described "side dishes." This portion of the restaurant is self serve. There are of course menu items that can be ordered, but what most people come here for is the roving meat experience. A wide variety of beef, poultry, and other meat are regularly rotated throughout the dining area, by staff who act as carvers at your table. The word rodizio in Brazil actually means "rotation." Here's how it works: a meat server staff member, known as a "gaucho," will walk up to your table with a particular type of meat, and ask you if you would like a piece of that meat. If you reply, yes they will carve a piece from the larger cut of meat for you. These meats are hot, fresh from the kitchen, and ready to serve. This is how traditional Brazilian barbecues historically often work, in country. A carnivore's delight. The whole process is managed at table with a wooden peg/coaster, which is red on one end and green on the other. If the green side is up, that means the table wants to be served meats. On the other hand, if the red side is up, that means the table does not want to be served at that time. This is an immersive dining experience and very participatory. I find that it fosters conversation at the table with people you are attending with, and the entire restaurant is lively and vibrant. It is an experience that I highly recommend and always look forward to visiting.

The food seems like it's fusion as my friend and I both got chilaquiles but the chips were already broken apart and mixed with the meat. Still tasty but not what we expected. My other friend got the patacon, which basically looked like a salad. Far from the usual plantain fritters with toppings. Only one of my table mates ordered something that sounded like what was expected, the Ecuadorian churrasco: sirloin, eggs, fries, rice, and salad. For dessert, we got the flan and tres leches cake. There was a hair on the cake and they quickly gave us a new slice. Good but the flan could've been better. The cake was good though. Nothing was too sweet which was perfect. Overall the food was good but not as authentic as we had hoped. The service was also a bit slow. It was a slower evening but it took a while to get our drinks. Our server was really nice though. We ordered his recommendations. I'm not too familiar with parking around here but there were parallel spots in front. I parked in the garage at the back. Around $6 for two hours.

I wish they had more steaks to choose from though and they had sides that you had to pay extra for. I got the 3 course meal for the Special - I got the lobster bisque, and the small tenderloin which came with shrimp, and then the Bundt cake for the dessert. Overall it was a good meal! It was a little bit slow because of the holiday so I understood that. But will have to come back soon!

It definitely sets the tone for a nice night out. Also this location is very different from Polaris. The service was okay...not terrible, but not as attentive or memorable as I expected for a steakhouse of this reputation. As for the food... this is where it fell short for me. I've been wanting to try it for a while because I've heard so many good things, so I came in with high expectations. Unfortunately, the steak wasn't cooked the way I prefer, the brussel sprouts weren't enjoyable, and the mashed potatoes tasted like they may have been instant, which was disappointing for a place known for steak. The one standout for me was the meatballs, they were actually really good and had great flavor. Overall, for a birthday dinner and for the reputation it has, our party left a bit disappointed. It wasn't a horrible experience, but it just didn't match the expectations we had going in.
