Had dinner here the other night for the first time in awhile . I had the filet mignon and lobster hibachi . The food was good but the chief didn't put on a show like they use to . Pretty basic prepare and serve . No kidding around or fancy tricks with the food or knives . That was always the fun part of going to places like this . I gave it a four because the food was good but lacking in the showmanship . Probably won't be back

I had an absolutely random experience here with friends, but it was fun! We were in the area with the goal of dining at a different restaurant nearby. Unfortunately we didn't have a reservation and the wait was going to be about an hour. Instead of sticking around, we whipped open our Yelp apps and found this Japanese steakhouse across the street. Their Yelp rating wasn't bad and it had been forever since any of us had been to a Japanese steakhouse so we headed there ASAP. We arrived, were greeted right away, and taken back to a table immediately. Our waters were out in an instant and I also ordered a plum wine, my guilty pleasure when dining in this environment. As for food, I ordered the shrimp Hibachi which also came with soup, salad, and two shrimps as an appetizer. As we waited for our chef to get ready, our table filled up to just the right amount of people. While our table was more on the quiet side, we made the most of it and our chef read the room (well, table, lol), really well. He didn't do much of the fun jazzy stuff you expect from a Japanese steakhouse but it was fine. I pretty much ate every bite of everything that was placed in front of me. I was really hungry, but more importantly, it was good eats. Fun fact: They also have sushi on the menu. My friend ordered a roll and enjoyed it. They also have pretty darn good lunch specials.

This Japanese steak house was amazing! My friend took me there for Valentine's Day. We had to make reservations and we still had to wait longer than expected which we didn't mind, it was definitely worth it! We ordered their Calamari Katsu, it was crispy and delicious! Chefs are really talented, they really know how to entertain you while grill your food! Their soup and hibachi is delicious! Place was nice and tables have glasses in between for social distancing. Employees are nice and friendly as well, I will definitely be coming back!

I got a chicken hibachi to go and I started to eat it and noticed a piece of my chicken had a piece of blue plastic of something unknown stuck to it. Literally cooked in. I called to tell them and they said I needed to bring it in because it was "hard to believe me" I let them know I live 35 minutes away and they didn't care. I would have wasted the same amount of gas driving there as the refund money. $20. I decided to not bring it in because it was a waste of time. But I don't know what the blue thing is and I threw my food away and was pretty disappointed. So gross and I'll never eat here again.

Good for a quick lunch! The service was nice and quick. I went there during the lunch time, the price was good, the whole thing for $11. They gave a lot of rice! (I love that) the salad was good but my whole thing to get Salmon teriyaki which I don't think it was teriyaki. The fish was a little fishy tho. Overall it was okay, if I go there again I probably try sushi instead.

This is my favorite place to go to for Japanese Hibachi in Columbus! It used to be called Genjis and is now called Kyoto, but it is the same chefs and the same food. The best time to visit is during lunch because the prices are reasonable and the portions are good as well. I love that they offer bean sprouts! The sushi is always fresh and the yum yum sauce is on point! Another bonus is they also have different flavors of Mochi for desert which you can't get at some of the other Japanese restaurants.

I enjoyed everything. The yakitori was flavorful but chicken a little dry. Typical hibachi salad, and the miso soup was very good. The sushi was good, and the main meal tasty.

Love going here, possibly has the best fried rice ever. A lot cheaper than the other nearby hibachi locations, and definitely worth it.

Special menu for special pricing but unfortunately no steak options and this is what we came for. We ordered off regular menu as have previously done but menu was not bad if looking for something other than steak! Started out with few cocktails which were fancy and tasty. I eventually had full flavored cab that was smooth yet pricy for the 9oz pour for $28. Ouch but we were celebrating. Had shrimp cocktail to start along with 2 rounds of their dinner rolls with butter. Nice salty butter was perfect with the hot rolls. Large shrimp 6 total so great to share. All 3 of us chose filets cooked med rare plus which was perfect! Nice hot red center. We knew this from previous visit but you can add this butter to it that is delicious. So yummy you wanna lick just the butter! Indy has many steakhouses and this place rates as one of the top steaks I have ever had. This is why we splurge yearly and keep Coming back. Steaks come with Tavern salads which were actually nice size and quite good with blue cheese crumbles. Side is also included. We chose loaded baked potato, creamed spinach and corn. This is where maybe they could better. Not super hot as came out so maybe pre plated. Since it was my son's 24 th birthday celebration he got a free dessert and the crème brûlée was "chef's kiss". One of the best of it also! Had a small chocolate on top that melted into the dessert! Other than the bill at the end which we already knew was going be what it was it was a perfect dinner out. We were seated at same booth and had same waiter as last year which was lovely. He was very attentive but not overly and paced the meal perfectly like any fine dining waiter should. There is a great bar area also which I have sat at with friend from this area. They have regular seats at the bar! Parking is close in garage that the places in downtown Dublin stamp the validation so free.

While there were a few minor service issues, our server was kind and attentive and acknowledged the celebration with complimentary desserts, which we truly appreciated. After dinner, my cousin and I went to wash our hands and use the restroom. At the time, all stalls were occupied and one was out of service, so we waited. When a stall opened, my cousin kindly let me go first. I finished and stood outside the stalls waiting for her for about three minutes. During that time, I noticed several people going in and out of the restroom area. I also saw a man sitting in a chair along the hallway wall near the stalls, hunched over. Shortly after, a woman exited the restroom and grabbed him to leave. I thought nothing of it and minded my own business. I also observed the executive chef enter one of the restroom stalls. When my cousin exited, she mentioned that the stall smelled strongly of smoke and that three girls had exited the stall before she entered. She said the stall smelled like marijuana but used it only because it was the only option available. She also pointed out that the man sitting outside appeared to be associated with the group who had been in the stall. We then returned to our patio table where our family was seated. Our server brought out her birthday pie along with another complimentary dessert. She blew out the candle, we shared dessert, and we began preparing to leave. A few minutes later, while we were still seated on the patio, the general manager, Nick Krafft, approached our table accompanied by Executive Chef Michael Wagner. We initially assumed he was checking in on our experience. Instead, he immediately stated, "I'm going to have to ask you not to smoke in our restaurant and bathroom," directing the accusation at my cousin and me. We were completely taken aback by both the accusation and the manner in which it was delivered. We calmly explained that it was not us and described exactly what we had observed in the restroom. We stated that neither of us smoke and never have. We even offered to have our belongings checked and explained that we had not taken any jackets or purses with us to the restroom, as our family remained at the table. Despite this, the general manager refused to listen or consider our explanation and continued to place blame on us. He did not speak to our server, who had interacted with us just moments earlier while bringing out the birthday dessert, nor did he attempt to investigate further or de-escalate the situation. As we were leaving, my fiancé asked the general manager if he actually smelled smoke on either of us. He responded "yes," which was not true, and continued to push a conclusion he had already formed. No apology was offered. We spent over $1,000 celebrating a family birthday at a restaurant we had trusted and enjoyed in the past. Instead, the evening ended with my cousin's birthday being overshadowed by an unfounded accusation. There were many guests dining that evening, yet blame was placed solely on two women who had simply used the restroom. I am a Nurse Practitioner, and my cousin is a special education teacher for autistic children. Neither of us have ever smoked. Being accused in this manner was humiliating, hurtful, and completely unnecessary. I was later contacted by the regional manager, who was understanding. However, I believe this situation highlights the need for better investigation, accountability, and staff training to prevent similar experiences in the future. A personal apology from Nick, acknowledging his actions and taking accountability, would be an appropriate step forward after innocent guests were wrongly blamed and a birthday celebration was ruined.

Now fast forward, Dad lives in Powell and we found a second reason to return this time in the dining room with Chris as our server. I forgot how wonderful HP-Dublin is and we'll be back for the reasons shared below. My father is 82 and extremely particular. Why I LOVED having Chris as our server so much was how very on point he was from start to finish: he staggered our experience in a timely fashion, he was very clear in his communication and that was SO IMPORTANT to my father who does have hearing aids and at times, it can be challenging for him yet he never had to ask Chris to repeat himself even once. I have never had that experience with him when we are out for fine dining. The food was incredible. The service - back to Chris - was impeccable. Not even halfway through our HP-Dublin experience, my Dad said to me, "I like Chris a lot." Dad is retired FBI and let's face it - he can find fault with anything. He is pretty critical and very rarely is he ever impressed. Last night for dinner he was and that was super helpful for me and my husband as we always want Dad to be happy when dining out. Tucci's…read morehas been on my list for quite some time--I've walked by it over the years always saying, "We should eat there someday." Well, today is that day. It's located in a busy, very popular area, and on a nice evening the atmosphere is hard to beat. Families, couples, and food lovers stroll through the charming Old Town Dublin streets. After dinner, it's common to wander across the bridge to Bridge Park or join the long (but worth-it) line for ice cream. Honestly, don't stress about the wait--where else do you have to be? Just relax and enjoy the night. Walking in was a "wow" moment. The sunken dining room has a beautiful, garden-like feel that immediately draws you in. I loved the ambiance right away, and we were greeted warmly as soon as we arrived. One small surprise--I expected to be hit with those rich Italian cooking aromas, but didn't notice much coming from the kitchen. For dinner, we ordered the rosemary focaccia with truffle butter, sausage and shrimp rigatoni, chicken fettuccine alla vodka, a Caesar salad, and a house salad. The focaccia was a hit across the table. My friends both ordered the fettuccine and really enjoyed it--I tried it as well and agree it was the standout dish. Unfortunately, my Caesar salad and the sausage and shrimp pasta fell flat. Both lacked flavor and were disappointing. I did try the house salad, though, and its dressing was excellent. So it seems like I may have just missed on my menu choices. Service, however, was the biggest issue of the night. The restaurant was not busy, but our waitress seemed to lack attention to our table. We often found ourselves looking around trying to track her down. When she did stop by, she would leave quickly without checking if we needed anything, and we had to call her back multiple times just to place orders or ask for help. She was friendly, but the service felt inattentive throughout the evening. Overall, we loved the atmosphere and the vibe, but I don't see me coming back any time soon for the food.
