    Caterpillar Roll

Yoshi's is one of my new favorite sushi places in Columbus! It's traditional with a great atmosphere for a date or business and everything is phenomenal! The caterpillar roll is a must and the frantz roll has the perfect spicy balance. There's so many other unique rolls like the wagyu roll and the Victoria's Garden! On top of sushi, there are a ton of tasty apps and other courses/options if you're not in the middle for sushi. If you're looking to try some of the top sushi spots around Columbus, you need to add this one to your list!

Looking for some good sushi and sashimi? Yoshi's the place in Dublin. We ordered sashimi and rolls. Service was great! You may need a reservation as it gets crowded, and we had to sit at the sushi bar instead of a booth.

This was a planned B reservation on a Saturday since Akai Hana was quite full. First impression, of course you look at the menu.. pricey! Well, Really pricey compared to other places. However, the sashimi's were very fresh and were enjoyable. The sushi chef came to our table and told us the fishes were directly imported from Japan. Paired our sushi's with a bottle of sauvignon. Most of the chefs are Japanese, thats when you know the sashimis will be good quality. Their hamachi kama was really good. Grilled and flaky. They also offer omakase for $160/person. Our dinner came to a whopping close to $500. My tummy better be happy

Oops. It was too good sorry!

Stop playing with me!!! Yoshi's hit the spot from beginning to end! The sushi was DELICIOUS and super fresh! And the Curry Udon was AMAZING! The service was great, multiple servers will check on you throughout your meal. The restaurant was crowded but the noise level wasn't too bad. If you want the feel of a private dinner ask to sit in the room with "Tiger Woods", they will know what you're talking about. Would I visit again? YES

All the food tasted wonderful! I am only taking away a star because I've had similar tasting food for a cheaper price, but the fish is very fresh and they don't overcompensate with rice. I love the unique specialty rolls--it's both aesthetically pleasing and a delicious combination of flavors. I don't recommend the skewers as they were dry and not flavorful, but any of their rolls would be good. The service is great. I recommend making a reservation as there is limited seating.

Went here for the first time with friends last time and everything was amazing! The staff were so attentive and kind and the atmosphere was so calm and relaxing. We ordered several different dishes to share and everything was so delicious. If you are looking for a great dining experience and delicious high quality food- come here!

I've been to Yoshi's a couple of time and I've always appreciated the authentic Japanese feel to the restaurant. They respect privacy so you don't really see other diners when you are in there unless you sit at or by the sushi bar area. It is smaller, but you're able to make a reservation online which I would recommend for a weekend. The sushi prices are a little higher than usual, but it is pretty quality. They have a very diverse menu with a lot of authentic Japanese dishes. Love the pickled dishes! Would recommend. They have your normal rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and specialty rolls. If you are not a sushi fan you can order their dinner entrees. I've gotten their udon before and it's yums! I also recommend the mushroom soup. They make their sushi rolls by order so sometimes you may wait a little bit. Will continue to come here.

Omg finally! Legit sushi. Hellooooo!! I came in 25 minutes before closing, feeling super guilty. But they were so gracious and sweet, and told me to take my time. The nigiri was top notch! Definitely order the specials; they are the best! The least good thing on the plate was something NOT on the special - the salmon. But honestly I'm just splitting hairs here. Be ready to drop serious money, but you get what you pay for. Still dreaming of the Hokkaido uni... I could have a whole bowl of that. Thank you, Yoshi, for hitting my sushi craving. Coming from California, I was reluctant and skeptical. But you delivered!!!

The best Japanese cuisine in town. Very authentic, great service, and a fair price for such quality. Highly recommend.

Was recommended House of Japan by some friends for good hibachi and made a reservation for a Friday…read morenight. The reservation was for 6pm, we showed up around 5:50 and were sat right away but waited until about 6:20 to order and begin getting soups/salads. Personally I love the mushroom soup and ginger salad, it is SALTY (which I love) but may be too much for others. As for the hibachi part, the cook does a fun show with all the staples - big fire, onion volcano, tossed rice in our mouths! He was very nice and we had a fun time! I ordered the strip and shrimp with fried rice and asked for the strip medium. The portions were HUGE and the food just kept coming. Fried rice, veggies, and shrimp were very yummy but also very salty (no complaints from me!). The strip was definitely more on the rare side which is not my preference but there was so much food it wasn't a huge deal. I had also ordered a tea with my meal and the servers were very attentive with the tea and water giving plenty of refills. For two people, including drinks, we thought the total price was pretty decent for a night out! Overall it was good service, good food, and a fun night! They do use TONS of butter and soy sauce so be cautious if you have a sensitive stomach but I would recommend for a fun dinner night spot!

Another man was served filet instead of strip steak. Random chair was in bathroom (strip club mint style). The mistakes were corrected. Comped the bottle of sake. Man got strip steak and filet. Lotta meat. Chair might still be in bathroom but not a big deal. Nice to see scallops on the menu. The group took advantage of that. Where are they from? Local ? Farm raised? The birthday boy got a delicate dish of orange sorbet. Great cleanser. This restaurant thrives on adversity and culture. Will be back next year most likely. They were not a consistent bright pink, looked like the salmon was old. The imitation crab on the Ohio roll was very low quality and did not taste good. I'd rather drive to an actual sushi restaurant. The service was good, I think that's the only thing they have going for them.

Other people praise the sushi burrito so I got that. They make it right there in front of you, and you can choose the sushi (or beef.) I got tuna, and it was actually very fresh, buttery, with a nice flavor. And, that plus rice and your choice of veggies forms up into a hefty, tasty burrito. I also got an Ohio roll, crab and cream cheese, etc., which they have prepackaged along with other things that look like the sushi you could get it a grocery store. It was also pretty good, and, surprisingly, reasonably priced. And a beef bowl, again made in front of you, with whatever sauce and veggies you want. Again, tasty, filling, possibly even healthy. Don't worry, I didn't eat it all at once. I had a little before work, and then the rest for lunch and breaks at work. Good quality, good flavor, decent prices, friendly service, and convenient. And even maybe fairly healthy. I'm sold.
