We came here on a Friday night as a walk-in. We have been wanting to come here for month but timing hadn't worked out. Thankfully we were able to quickly get a table and since it was nice out we sat on the patio. We order 4 different rolls to try and I had a lychee martini. Honestly we were pretty disappointed in the sushi. For the cost of the rolls we felt like they were pretty small. They also didn't really have a wow factor in flavor when eating them. Pretty meh and unexciting. We won't be returning for sushi but maybe for something else one days

First time at this location. I met some ladies for book club and we had a nice table (2 put together). Our server was very accommodating and efficient. I started with their blueberry martini (delicious) and had a glass of Riesling with my dinner, the Salmon Teriyaki. The salmon was perfect and tasty, with the stir fry vegs and rice on the side. I do want to return for some sushi, and the Stone Pot Bibimbop that two ladies got looked amazing.

I stopped by Mr Sushi for a quick dinner before a paint and sip across the street. The atmosphere was cute and relaxing - lots of lighter wood and nice lighting. The menu has a variety of sushi and non sushi options and they were able to get us in and out in time for our painting class. I had two rolls - a spicy salmon (always a favorite) and the Engine #5 with crab, avocado, and spicy tuna on top. The spicy salmon was my favorite and a solid choice. The Engine #5 was OK. The spicy tuna on top was very finely minced, kind of like a sandwich filling and I didn't love it. Overall I liked the atmosphere, it was really pleasant and had a fun vibe, so not super dim or quiet. The ramen looked good and I'd be interested in trying the non-sushi menu.

    Unaju

We came on a Saturday night and there were able to get seated immediately. The area is nice and you can walk around. Parking is a bit more tricky, as there is a paid parking garage or if you don't mind the walk, there are free parking garages on the other side so the river. We ordered a tuna roll, salmon roll, oh my god roll, and Unaju (9 piece eel rice bowl). They were all good, but nothing special. For all the Japanese options around, the food taste/freshness didn't stand out. I will say that it's unique that they offer Unaju as it's not a common option.

Went in on a Thursday night and it wasn't too packed, but had just enough people. We were seated at a booth right away. There was only one waitress working and she was also being the hostess. Service took slightly longer, but we were understanding of it! We ordered the spicy tuna, philly roll, the kinky, oh my god, and I think the sexy girl roll. They were all pretty good! No fishy taste, it came out in a decent amount of time considering they were on the busier side, and the presentation was on point! I would come back :)

Mr. Sushi is a great option for a variety of Asian fare to include some pretty tasty ramen. The restaurant is fairly simple but nice enough with a layout that is designed for average sized groups. The service was friendly, fast, and professional. Overall this place is a great spot and offers good value for the cost.

Surprisingly good! Tried to go somewhere else for sushi but they were packed so we ended up here and we're not disappointed. Quick service, good quality sushi and in a fun area. Would definitely go back!

Food, service and ambiance are all 5 stars. We ordered one of the sushi boats and the sushi deluxe. Everything was very very good and tasted very clean. The wait staff was quick to clean the table off as well which made the experience nice. They changed the channel for us so we could watch football as well on Sunday night. Highly recommend as we live down the street and can always walk here. Glad we made it out and we will definitely be back!

My favorite sushi place in the greater Columbus area. I have been here numerous times but finally getting the time to review. They have the traditional sushi menu with options for all sushi lovers. Typically, I don't get appetizers at sushi places, but I tried the pot stickers and soft shell crab. They were amazing! I highly recommend the pot stickers. I have eaten numerous including the Carribean roll, Buckeye Roll, Tempura Shrimp roll, Salmon roll, and spicy crawfish roll. I loved them all! The staff is nice and it's a relaxing atmosphere! I look forward to returning.

I really enjoy the Mr. Sushi in Gahanna so I decided to check out the Mr. Sushi in Dublin while we were in the Dublin area. I was surprised that there are differences between the two locations. For example, the Hot Stone Veggie Bibimbap is only $15 in Gahanna and served with a soup or salad and unlimited Gochujang; whereas, is $18 in Dublin and is not served with a soup or salad nor unlimited Gochujang. I think not having the unlimited Gochujang peeved me with the Dublin location as I had to wait and ask for more Gochujang FOUR different times. Every time I asked, the server brought a tiny cup which was not enough spice for me. I also ordered the baked salmon roll as an appetizer and was surprised at how small the roll was for $13 (which the roll is also considered a speciality roll). While I did enjoy the food here, I think that I will continue to stick with the Gahanna location going forward. I am glad that I was able to check this location out though!

I've heard good things about this place for awhile now but this is the first time I've ever checked it out. I eat sushi a few times a week. It's one of my favorite foods and I'm always looking for new good sushi places. Sadly this was not it. First let me say that the location was great. The interior of the restaurant was very nice and clean, the service was wonderful and the prices were very reasonable. But the sushi just didn't do it for me. I had soup prior to the sushi, it was good but definitely nothing special. The sushi rolls were fairly small and just didn't taste as fresh as I like. The fish was room temp and had very little flavor. It definitely wasn't bad by any means, but not somewhere I would likely go again.

This sushi spot is in a great location, but the sushi was average at best. Not to mention the drinks were $12.50. Not worth it at all.

Enter the appetizer: a colossal bowl of Edamame, those humble soybeans elevated to a salty symphony. And then, like a prizefighter entering the ring, the Gyoza arrived, six pork dumplings, each a masterpiece of Japanese culinary artistry. Delectable, unparalleled, a knockout punch to the palate. But wait, the final play was yet to come. The Philadelphia Roll a triumvirate of smoked salmon, cucumber, and cream cheese graced the table. Was it merely a sushi roll? No, my friends, it was the culinary equivalent of a Hail Mary pass--bold, daring, and executed to perfection. The finest in Dublin? Without question. In conclusion, what we witnessed was not just dining; it was an epicurean event, a celebration of flavor and craftsmanship. Truly, a performance worthy of standing ovation. Bravo!

Our food took a little longer to come out, but the waiter apologized and kept checking in, which I appreciated. I enjoyed the meal and felt good about the overall quality. Where I hesitated was the value. For the prices they charge, I expected portions that felt a little more generous. I know a few sushi spots that offer the same level of freshness for less, so it's hard not to compare. The food is great, but the price point didn't fully match what came out on the plate. Still a solid spot if you're focused on quality and freshness.

We spent $230 (w/ tip) and it was worth every penny. Probably the best Japanese restaurant in the city. We passed by this place multiple times on our way elsewhere. We're Mario fans, so the name Yoshi caught our eye, but the cramped strip mall exterior doesn't exactly scream culinary dream. We decided to take a chance, and let me just say--wow. It's an intimate space with just a few tables and an 8-10 seat sushi bar. We didn't have reservations (make one, they fill up fast) but managed to snag seats at the bar. The service immediately stood out. We had better attention here than at some upscale steakhouses--glasses never went empty, and their menu suggestions were spot on. One minor heads-up: at the sushi bar, staff sometimes walk behind you to talk to the chefs, which can be a bit distracting. For starters, we grabbed the gyoza and asked for a standout small plate. They pointed us to the beef tongue. It arrived hot with shredded onions and spicy mustard, delivering a buttery, melt-in-your-mouth tenderness with a deep, beefy richness. The gyoza was equally flawless. Instead of the overly chewy or burnt wrappers you find at most spots, these had a delicate, golden-brown sear with an intensely savory, garlicky umami filling. We paired this with Sayuri sake, a creamy, unfiltered pour that perfectly balanced sweetness with a dry, clean finish. Since we love nigiri, we ordered a spread: tuna, salmon, smoked salmon, sweet shrimp, and Japanese scallop, plus a salmon/avocado roll. The cuts were impeccably sourced and practically dissolved on the tongue. You rarely find this level of consistency. Just a heads up--they prepare it the traditional way, meaning there is a dab of wasabi tucked directly under the fish. We also tried the Wagyu A-5 roll. It's about as "meat and potatoes" as a roll can get: steak, carrots, asparagus, and rice. The seared Wagyu fat melted instantly, creating a decadent, buttery glaze over the crisp vegetables. It's one of those rare foods that genuinely forces you to pause after each bite. At $40, it was 100% worth it. I can't say enough about this experience. Next time, we're leveling up to the fatty tuna and Wagyu experience on their special menu. That's the exact culinary peak we've been looking for, and incredibly, it's tucked inside a suburban strip mall. Absolutely brilliant.
