I was first attracted by their lovely and cute bento box. It also come all the sizes that fit your need, which have small, regular, and the big one. Another highlight from Yes Sushi is that instant noodle cooker. They have an impressive lineup on the instant noodle package and nicely display by the cooker. You can either do it yourself or the lovely auntie is happily to help. After you select the option, hot water would be dispense and water will get boil very quickly. You just need to put the noodles and seasoning package to the bowl. Make sure to ask to add an egg to it [a must have for me on instant noodle] It will turn off once it done cooking and carry on to enjoy. Outside from the bento box and instant noodle, there is way more on their offering. Sushi, Onigiri, Inari [marinated tofu pouch stuff with rice and with topping.], Bubble Tea. Now you should understand why I ask you to be prepare yourself

I ordered this via uber eats and it did not disappoint! I wasn't super hungry but needed to eat & this was the perfect quick delivery. I ordered the special sushi combo #3. It was great and had 12 pieces of sushi so I was quite full at the end of it. I really enjoyed the sushi and it needed more sauce added. The box it came in was so perfect that my sushi came still standing. 10 out of 10

Eaten here a few times since this review- I want to add that I would say the bento/non sushi options here are tastier/better than Tensuke but the sushi at Tensuke is better. Perfect place to go if you have someone in your life (like me) who doesn't like/want sushi but you do! Also much easier to get to for me personally. Keep up the great service and still so happy that this place exists!

A great addition to the Discovery District. I feel like this pocket of town is somewhat lacking in food spots - just this very small, maybe 1-2 block stretch of Main Street; it could just be me though. There's plenty of free street parking, and I did see a few lots but didn't bother checking if they're also free since I was able to park right out front. Inside is small but efficient use of space. You can order at the counter and they also have a kiosk (I'm sure for their busy times); good thinking. We immediately went to the kiosk, no idea why as none was in line, and that was an excellent choice, as their menu board is smaller font and no pictures/descriptions. While we didn't order any ramen, a big shoutout for the board of all their ramen noodle wraps pinned up so customers can physically see/read what each contained and flavor profiles. Along with an order of pork potstickers, we got a few rolls to share: Buckeye roll, Spicy Tuna roll, and an Orange Dragon roll. The pork potstickers were decent; I thinking they're frozen numbers, but weren't bad, just nothing to write home about. Both the Buckeye and Orange Dragon I'd totally order you both again, no questions! Delicious! Both rolls were crammed full of their respected protein(s) and held together really well. I really liked the melding flavors of the Buckeye, with the mayo and (what I think was) sweet soy on top; also loved the crab salad on top with the crunchy corn flake coating. The Orange Dragon was equally delish. Loved the crab salad + spicy mayo, a great slightly sweet to salty combo; the salmon on top was bonus. Count me in for a return visit or two, as there's several things on the menu that sound intriguing (I'm looking at you poké, hibachi and bento boxes).

The sushi was incredible. Asked for "super fresh" and the fish just melted in my mouth! Best ever was the tuna belly and the salmon belly with caviar. I also loved the smoked salmon hand roll with a touch of eel sauce.

Literally so good 10/10!! The sauce on the chicken was perfect and it was so crispy. The service is great and it's very chill inside.

These meatballs were incredibly tender, sitting in a rich pomodoro sauce that brought a beautiful balance of brightness and depth. Finished with a sprinkle of pecorino Romano, each bite had that savory, slightly salty kick that elevates the entire dish. The toasted ciabatta crostinis were crisp and golden--perfect for soaking up every bit of that sauce. And that fresh basil leaf on top? A simple touch that added just the right amount of freshness to bring it all together. After a day of capturing powerful stories, it was refreshing to experience that same level of care and intention on the plate. This appetizer didn't just hit, it lingered

I remember when this place used to be Easy Street - I was a regular before I moved in…read more Then this place switched to South Village - felt weird and took a long while to get used to. It was definitely not the same place. However, this place warmed up to me pretty quickly. It looked a lot different when it first opened, has theough a few changes with one being a Hallway to the sushi restaurant next door - Great sushi by the way!! My friend and I were equally impressed. We got the giant meatballs from South Village and 3 different types of sushi from next door. Quite the spread but all of it was good!! I come a lot here - for months I used to come every Sunday night get the wings and hummus. Whatever the old wing sauce was - it was sooo good. They have now switched to buffalo and to be honest other places make it better. Still try the hummus. It's delicious. So is the incredible meatball. Drinks here have always been really good. Quality. Pizza really goood - get the Hot Honey pepperoni. They also used to have one of the best calamari plates in the city - and I have Italian parents who ALWAYS order Calamari. So if you ever see it - get it. Small tv in the corner by the bar - enough to be seen, small enough not to kill the vibe but definitely don't come if your goal is to watch a game. This past time I went I had the Braised short rib, with a Martini and the cookie with ice cream for dessert. I hardly ever get dessert but some broad yelled at me for getting stuck in the great snowmageddon snow on the way here so cookie it was!
