This place is implemented in the name. FIRE This hibachi is nicely seasoned, greatly portioned, reasonable pricing and speedy service. THIS IS WHAT HIBACHI SHOULD LOOK & TASTE LIKE! Oh and they also provided different vegetables without an extra charge. Whew. I cannot wait to go back to HIBACHI FIRE ‍

Enjoyed a hibachi fried rice with steak, and it was very good. I'm used to my veggies being in the fried rice as well as a little bit of egg, but it's no big deal. Food was delicious, service was friendly. I had take out, but the restaurant seemed to be clean and tidy. If you're looking for some hibachi, you'll enjoy what they have here

Remember that one day at work when you were hungry and daydreaming about a generous amount of bite-size pieces of juicy, delicious steak mixed with vegetables, rice, and yum yum sauce? Well call me a genie because your dreams have come true! The place is Hibachi Fire and they have best hibachi in Columbus in my opinion. Trust me, you won't regret this life decision!

It is truly amazing how much food you get here. We got the New York Steak with vegetables and white rice, replacing the zucchini for bean sprouts...the Lo Mein chicken and shrimp with vegetables, the gyoza and egg roll. There is plenty of food for a two day meal. We have never ordered it without vegetables, I'm pretty sure there wouldn't be enough for two meals that way. The rice and noodles are always fresh, so are the meat and vegetables. I hope this place stays open a very long time, it's nice to have food done right

I got steak and shrimp hibachi and added all the veggies. It was really good! They give you tons of meat plus the yum yum and egg yolk sauces are both delicious.

    Supposedly Steak and Shrimp Hibachi.

Hibachi Fire has quick service and huge portions. We just got takeout. The restaurant itself is not well lit.

The rice was dry and over cooked, the onions were burnt and bean sprouts were mushy. Only thing good was the meat and shrimp.

I took my friend here to try their katsu and I was not disappointed. I decided to get their Ton Katsu Teishoku Set so I could try everything they had. This meal took me back to my trip to Japan. I like how they gave you sesame seeds to grind for your sauce. The pork katsu was crispy and juicy. I also thought the rice was perfectly cooked. When I came here, the server accidentally spilled some of the soup on me and was very apologetic. They offered me complimentary soup to make up for the accdient. Overall, I would definitely come back to try their other items like the curry!

We chose this place because we were in the mood for something that wasn't straight american food…read moresince that's the majority of places here in the downtown area in Columbus, and this place absolutely exceeded our expectations! Experience - walking in, this is more of fast casual restaurant where you order at the counter and pick a seat. We ordered the Osaka ton katsu don (chicken) and the ton kotsu teishoku. It took a bit of time to make (we understand now because that day just happened to be understaffed) but it was completely worth it for the amazing taste. Food - For context, we're from new york, and as religious foodies, sowe're used to eating some of the best food in the world. We've had a few ok-ish restaurants here in the downtown area but nothing to write home about so we didn't have much expectations. However, we were pleasantly surprised that this restaurant exceeded even our highest expectations of food and service even by new york standards. The chicken is so crispy on the outside but so juicy on the inside - the PERFECT katsu texture and the sauce is amazing! When we went, it took a bit longer to get our food but they explained that they were understaffed and adjusting for demand. They seem pretty locally run and they were doing the best they can. I really appreciated the warm, personal touch in the end and would definitely say the food is 110% worth the wait. all in all 100/10! Definitely worth going out of our way for.

I heard they have some of the best crab Rangoon in the city, so you know I'd get over here…read moreeventually. (Actually, they are on the awesome crab Rangoon database, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QSQhg2_bTPApajJmPVewjtMe0A3QmIWnms3-CccL7vM/edit?gid=0#gid=0.) And my review is partly skewed toward that crab Rangoon, though I had a really good experience all in all. In a strip out front of Meijer, easy access and parking. Opens at 11 but they were open a bit before that today, which was nice. Super friendly and efficient service the whole way through. Dark inside but not gloomy; cozy. Lots on the menu, and I had a hard time deciding. Went with the Rangoon, of course, and a lunch special: 3 sushi rolls. That comes with soup or salad, and I had the miso soup, pretty darn good and with more tofu and seaweed than most. The crab Rangoon came out next and: oh my. Perfectly wrapped little packages of goodness. Beautifully plated, nicely made, and filled with cheese and a good amount of crab. Tasty, nice texture contrast between the filling and the thin crunchy shell, and served with a slightly-spicy homemade (I am guessing) sauce. Then the sushi trio. Again beautifully plated. I got eel and avocado, spicy tuna, and kani. The kani was my favorite, then the eel, then tuna. Best sushi around? Nah. But pretty good, and a really good deal. Fair sized rolls. Nicely made. The eel was tender and flavorful. The kani was good. Spicy tuna was just okay. I'll be back, for Rangoon and probably entrees. Out of my way, but glad I came today. Enjoyed the whole visit.
