Sweet and Sour Chicken
Justine B.

I got the sweet and sour chicken which was super tiny dry chewy chicken deep fried and canned pineapple. Gross. The philly roll was good though. I'm a little upset I spend it $17 on this small meal.

Hibachi beef

The first thing I noticed about Ginza Go is that they offer much more than hibachi and at a much better price than their similarly named competition. I had okay shumai and pretty good beef hibachi. A large reason for the four star is how it compares to other hibachi style options. Normally I'm not that big a fan of Japanese steak houses because, unless you're interested in paying for the show, they're way overpriced for simple stir fry you could do at home. That other similarly named chain took a few products from their full service restaurant while keeping high prices. Ginza Go's prices are in line with what the product should cost.

Hibachi Shrimp, Fried Rice and extra Veggies.
Lauren K.

I visited this restaurant on a Thursday afternoon. We called our order in over the phone. I ordered the Hibachi Shrimp, White Rice and Extra Vegetables. My coworker order the Hibachi Chicken. We were told our order would be ready in 15 minutes. We arrived about 20 later. Our order was not ready, and the cashier then told me that there would be another 30 minute wait for white rice, and offered me fried rice instead. Which didn't make sense, because you use white rice to make fried rice (right?). I agreed to the fried rice only because I was in the middle of a work day. We then waited another 25 minutes for our order to be finished. The cashier apologized, and stated that they were behind because they were closed the previous day for Halloween. Nevertheless, the Hibachi Shrimp was delicious, the veggies were a tad salty but still good. I didn't eat much of the fried rice. I will say that Ginza Go is NOT stingy with the amount of food you receive. My box of food was very heavy! I typically enjoy Hibachi Express off of Main Street, but if I'm not up for the drive all the way to the east side I'll will back to Ginza Go again soon!

Beef Deluxe Bento...Yummy

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Columbus. I always ordered Hibachi chicken and shrimp w fried rice and crab Rangoon. Always good...And today I just tried Beef Deluxe Bento,Yumm......Y......The whole restaurant is clean and service is very good. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Uncleaned shrimp

Upon arrival the women working the front counter was rude. As I was eating I noticed my shrimp www unclean. So I check the rest of them and guesss what uncleaned. I was just going to ask for my food to be made over and the women was so rude I just wanted my money back. The words out of this lady's mouth was "I know you want your money back because you can't afford it" not the case at all but I will never give them a dime of my money again not when there's way better Hibachi. This is the case of you get what you paid for.

I was disappointed with my dinner from Ginza Go. Very dry and tough. Chicken too tough to eat.

For my birthday, I was happy to try this place out since this location was close to home. Columbus is slowly becoming the place for all things foodie and geeky and I love that for us! This place is located on the 1280 W 5th Street and Northwest Blvd. There is parking in the front, and the restaurant is small and cozy. The seating is for parties of 4 to 5 but arrangements can be made so talk to a server. The menu offered everything from drinks, small place to ramen and I wanted to try more. We got the salt and pepper shrimp, the Kyushu Karaage (Japanese fried chicken), Hot tea and Takoyaki for a group of 5. Everything was piping hot and delicious and lightly seasoned to bring out the flavors of the overall dish. The servers were sweet and extremely helpful for explaining what things were and me, being a ramen nerd, could sit back and relax. I got the Kyushu Black Garlic Tonkotsu. It was so GOOD!! I love the taste of black garlic and the umami in the dish was so pleasant. The noodles were chewy, and the pork slices were so tender. The Tendernism! IYKYK. 5 stars for a great birthday meal that did not break the bank. Well, my friend covered my bill. :)

From the parking lot, The Blue Sushi does not look like much, but once you step inside, the décor is refined and elegant. We were seated immediately, and our server David was excellent with his recommendations and patience as we looked through the menu. We ended up ordering the Crispy Tuna roll, the Angry Lobster roll, the American Dream roll, and a steak Hibachi. The Hibachi comes with a side of salad and fried rice and was delicious. All the rolls were beautifully made and plated, and they tasted even better. We left full and satisfied and we will be back soon!

Now my life has changed, and I can take advantage of lunch at these places. Completely empty at noon on a weekday, a little disturbing. But, better than not being able to get in. Classy inside, nice seating options, quiet and pleasant atmosphere. Excellent service throughout. Large sushi menu, plus hot entrees, many apps, etc. A lot I wanted to try. But I had to start with the crab Rangoon tarts. Never seen it this way. Three fairly small tartlets, nice crust, with a dollop of "Rangoon" filling. Could have used more in each tart, but tasty enough. The sauce is a little zippier than most for crab Rangoon. Good, different, not amazing. And that pretty much describes the rest of the meal. Were my expectations too high? Nothing was bad, everything was pretty good, but not amazing. I had the Red Scorpion roll next. Mid-sized, a nice roll of kani, tuna, avocado, and more, topped with several sauces. Barely fit each piece in my mouth. Tasty, but again not amazing. Not what I expected from a place like this with reviews this high. A little heat, far from the spicy suggested by the name and reviews. Also had unagi and toro nigiri. Again, good, not great. Neither was as tender as I'd hoped, though decent all in all. Flavors were good on the unagi, and the toro was somewhat buttery/creamy but not on par with others I've had. Hmph. Cost was not bad, considering the decor of the place and that it's sushi. I left full but not overstuffed. I'd come back, maybe for a date night. But it's not incredible, and I guess I fell for the buzz.
