    Sushi and Sashimi Combo

I'd say it's a good & decent sushi place. Cozy ambience and interior. We made a reservation for a Saturday but the place was almost empty. Service was swift and the server was attentive. We tried the flight of sake with our sushi/sahimi boat for two. The sakes were okay. We still ended up getting a bottle of Kim Crawford Sauvignon instead. For app, we had the Age tofu. That was good. I always order this wherever I may be. :) Everything tasted fresh and decent portions. What was really good was their dessert! I'm glad I didn't skip. It looked like this trending fruit pastry that has a crunchy outside shell and gooey inside. It was an orange fruit and I gave it 2 thumbs up! Very enjoyable! Happy tummy!

This is the former Matt the Millers space and it is very pretty, with lighting and comfortable seating. I had a glass of wine from the happy hour menu, and the shrimp dumpling appetizer called Shumai. It was fantastic. I also ordered two rolls from the HH menu: Sweet Potato Roll and Spicy Salmon. Both very good. One from the regular dinner menu intrigued me, so I ordered it as well. The Coconut Shrimp Roll was great. Coconut Shrimp is a favorite of mine. I had plenty to take home and finish off later. I'll definitely come back for more. Our server was very attentive.

This place is an absolute gem! It's a charming little restaurant with a warm, welcoming vibe and super friendly staff. Whether you're planning a relaxed date night or a casual get-together with friends and family, it's a great pick. When we visited, it wasn't busy, so we were seated right away. Our server was incredibly sweet and helpful, offering spot-on recommendations since it was our first time there. We tried the Spicy Tuna Roll, Angry Lobster Roll, and the Hibachi with beef fried rice. Everything was good, but the Angry Lobster Roll definitely stole the show for me! I'm already looking forward to going back and exploring more of the menu--especially the sashimi.

This restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside! It's very cozy, warm, and romantic. There's plenty of parking outside and plenty of seating inside. We got a few rolls to try and they were all made well and the ingredients tasted fresh. It is a bit pricey per roll but we knew that going in. I would say the flavors were good and the rolls that we got were delicious. The menu has a lot of offerings and many choices of rolls and drinks. I recommend the Lychee Martini if you like sweet drinks! It comes with a little lychee as well. I made a reservation and we were seated quickly but unfortunately, we waited close to 2 hours to get our order. They weren't busy at the start but towards the end of the night, they became busy. For our table, we ordered 7 rolls total and it took a little too long for us to get our food. It looked like there were 4 sushi chefs working to make the rolls. If you order other foods, it looked like they were coming out from the kitchen and was a bit faster. Staff was very nice and checked on us frequently. Our server was kind and came around often and updated us as much as they could. I would recommend for quality sushi and drinks! We were pretty hungry and the wait was very long, so maybe try coming a little earlier or later than dinner time. Staff was great overall and our service was great. It's a beautiful spot for a casual date, small groups, and good sushi!

If you're going to come here, get the sashimi! I wasn't too impressed by any of the appetizers that I tried, but really enjoyed the sashimi. I also recommend the Tiger Roll, White Dragon Roll, and Fantastic Roll. We came on the day before Mother's Day, and it was not busy, so we were seated immediately. Our server was personable and kept us updated on the status of our orders. It's very cute inside--perfect for a date or group outing. ,

Another very solid entry in the ever growing field of new sushi restaurants in Columbus. Just in Polaris alone, there are at least six sushi spots now. I hope Blue Sushi finds a strong following and does really well. They told us it is owned by the same folks that own Song Lam in Dublin and 698 in Short North. The service was incredible (thanks Ashton!) and the cocktails are unique. The menu is long and diverse. If you don't like sushi, they do offer some familiar Asian dishes like hibachi, kung pao, etc. Do not miss the spicy tuna with crispy rice. This is always one of my favorites and they do it extra spicy here! We tried several of the specialty rolls and they were all fresh and delicious. I really liked the veggie specialty roll which had some crunchy and tempura veg in it for texture. We were hoping to try the white chocolate mousse "magical mushroom" cake dessert (google it), but they were sold out. Next time.

I was so happy I decided to make a reservation. I didn't think I'd need one that early but I was happy I decided to when the party in front of me got turned away. I loved my bubbly waitress. She was great and really knew her stuff. She made some great recommendations on rolls to order. I had the "sunshine roll", "the Manhattan", and the "Surf and turf" all were good but the sunshine roll was the best in my opinion. All the flavors messed well. I thought the surf and turf would've been my number one but for some reason the flavors just was there. Really good idea for a roll. It sounded better than in tasted. All in all this was a really cool spot. Very clean and modern look with a almost upscale feel. No first date. Maybe 2nd or 3rd lol. Worthy of a nice date night. I like the vibes. They have all the fresh ingredients on ice display. You can view the Itamae creating your rolls. Shout outs to my fellow yelpers for directing me here! #FoodieRunner approved

Sake Nigiri, Toro Tartar Roll, Hamachi Jalapeño Roll

I had an amazing dinner experience at the Blue Sushi! Moving from Miami/NYC to Ohio, I have yet to find a sushi restaurant on par with some of my favorites, but I think I have finally found one in The Blue Sushi! I ordered the salmon sake and toro tartare roll, which both just absolutely melted in my mouth. The hamachi jalapeño roll was a recommendation by our waiter (who was the best, may I add) and it was also so fresh and delicious! They have a wide range of sushi to choose from, from classic and simple nigiri and maki rolls, to unique specialty rolls. I went with simple flavors, but my friend's specialty rolls were also to die for. Their fish is flown fresh from Japan every 72 hours which explains why every dish was so flavorful and fresh. The prices are also incredibly affordable, and for the quality of the fish it cannot be beat! I can't wait to come back!

The Blue Sushi Restaurant is a wonderful addition to the Polaris area! Serving up super tasty sushi, hibachi, and traditional Asian dishes such as Kung Pao Chicken, Beef Bulgogi and much, much more. Not only do they have a large selection of dishes to choose from but the quality of the food is absolutely amazing! This beautiful restaurant is located in the space formerly occupied by Matt the Miller's Tavern. We tried a few of their dishes and loved every one of them. Hot Emerald.... 4 pieces of Tuna sashimi wrapped around spicy kani and avocado. Topped with seaweed salad, siracha, yuzu vinaigrette, and truffle oil. Angry Lobster Roll (Cooked).... Shrimp tempura, spicy kani, avocado, with tempura flakes inside. Topped with a whole steamed lobster tail, eel sauce, and sweet chili sauce. Red Scorpion Roll.... Spicy kani and cucumber inside. Topped with peppered tuna, avocado, scallion, spicy mayo, and wasabi mayo. Hibachi Dinner..... Your choice of Steak, Chicken, Shrimp or vegetables served with mixed vegetables stir-fried in a savory sauce. Comes with your choice of Miso Soup or Green Salad and either white or fried rice. The Blue Sushi Restaurant is a sister franchise of Song Lan Restaurant in Dublin and 698 Restaurant on N. High street. Between the cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and great service I can't wait to visit this place again.

    Cucumber Lime Hibiscus Mocktail

Seaweed salad...not fishy at all...very delicious and tiny bit crunchy Age tofu...fabulous smoky beef broth...silky tofu Cucumber lime Hibiscus mocktail...lightly sweet and fresh. Yaki udon with chicken...chicken was a bit crispy which was a nice change from usual silkened chicken you find in most Asian restaurants. The whole dish had a delicious smoky flavor from the wok. Sweet potato roll...unlike most sushi places I could actually taste the sweet potato and feel it's texture. The eel sauce on both was slightly sweet which worked really well with the savory rolls and soy sauce. Shrimp tempura roll...so good. Huge roll with lots of different flavors coming through. Great service and loved the vibe.

White tuna, hamachi nigiri, sake, kampachi

I think if you like rolls you'd be happy here. For someone who eats sushi weekly and has lived in Japan for a couple of years, my expectations are pretty high. I'm generally a sashimi gal, or sushi. Occasionally I'll sprinkle in a roll. For my first visit, I tried one of each. (Spicy yellowtail roll, kampachi, sake and white tuna for my sashimi. Then hamachi nigiri followed by a spicy yellowtail hand roll). The quality was good but not great in my opinion. I didn't eat the second piece of kampachi. I did have to make sure they removed the crunchies from my hand roll and roll. For me, I prefer the taste of the fish and not buttery tempura pieces. But this is a preference so everyone likes their thing. Overall the rest was pretty good. Japanese beer options were a little limited. I had a Sapporo on tap. Sake seemed to have a solid variety from sweet to dry. Interesting layout and vibe. No sushi bar but a bar that you can eat at. Service was attentive and a nice group. It's not necessarily for me but do think those who like rolls would be pretty happy with a number of options on their menu. Otherwise, after 15 years, I'm personally better served to drive to Muirfield Dr for the best place in town. This place does have a great location for ease of parking just off 71 on Gemini.

David our server was excellent. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Softshell Crab app was delish asked for tempura sauce on the side a really good addition. Sashimi was fresh and really nice size pcs. If doing hot entrees the truffle Udon with Shrimp was terrific, light and very flavorful. Only downside was salmon Skin Salad they forgot the masago and it need a bit more flavor but it was still good. Emma the mgr came to check on us and was very interested in our experience and passing on our comments to the kitchen. A MUST TRY.

    Vegetarian Sushi platter
    Samantha K.

We had a nice time here. The decor was really cute and a little quirky (one of the walls had 10 of the same swan picture?) our waitress was very sweet and attentive. We went during what would normally would be happy hour, but we were told they didn't have it set up. I had the Kung Pao Chicken, which was a enough for 2 meals and my husband had the vegetarian sushi tray which he said was "excellent " and no, he didn't offer to share and yes, he ate every bite. We ordered tofu & rice for my daughter but we did end up getting the tofu taken off. It was the silken vs the firm, and for many tofu eating friends you know that even lightly fried, silken is not the best to just eat. I think they have it as an appetizer and fix it up normally, so maybe just don't order that on the side. I think this was a good find and I'm excited to go back.

During our recent visit up on Polaris Parkway in Columbus, we decided to sit on the heated patio (which is clutch in Ohio). The vibe inside? Rustic wood, stone accents, mounted TVs everywhere -- classy lodge energy with a side of game day chaos. The staff rock the signature red-and-black checkered flannels, jean shorts, and Ugg boots -- think "sexy lumberjack chic." It's playful, but the atmosphere itself feels more polished ski retreat than dive bar. Our server, Sydney, was friendly and efficient. She stayed on top of refills and check-ins even though the place was buzzing. Now... small rant. We unfortunately sat under a speaker, and it felt like I was eating dinner at a rock concert. I'll never understand the volume war: music plays to drown out conversations, people talk louder, then the music gets turned up again. Next thing you know, I'm basically yelling my sandwich order to my wife. Sorry -- rant over. Speaking of that sandwich... I ordered the Turkey Smashed Avocado Sandwich -- basically an upscale club. Turkey breast, Swiss, smashed avocado, bacon, tomato, red onion, arugula (nice touch instead of basic lettuce), and spicy mayo on potato bread. It came with waffle fries and one of their famous 29-degree beers in a frosted mug. And let me tell you -- that ice-cold beer absolutely hit the spot. The sandwich was fresh, stacked high, and packed with flavor. My wife ordered the Smashed Avocado Burger with fries and said she'd happily get it again. Twin Peaks sometimes gets labeled as "upscale Hooters," but don't believe everything you hear. Yes, the uniforms are on the sexy side, but the decor is classy, the food is scratch-made, and the menu goes way beyond burgers -- steaks, meatloaf, skillet green beans, loaded chips... it's more elevated than people expect. So if you're near a Twin Peaks, stop in, grab an ice-cold 29-degree beer, order a burger or sandwich, and prepare to be pleasantly surprised. Just maybe ask not to sit under the speaker

My sisters and I get together every year to do something after Christmas. This year, we went to see…read morea movie and went to dinner. We chose the Worthington Tavern for dinner. Parking was easy since there is a free lot out back and there is a decent amount of street parking nearby. We got there during the hour between lunch and dinner where they are flipping the restaurant for the next meal. The server asked us if we would still like to come in and get some drinks and hang out until food was ready. We decided it was worth the wait. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive. She even brought me a bag of ice for the milk I had to pump during the meal. We ordered some drinks and talked for a little while and she came back promptly at four to take our food orders. I ordered the seasonal salad, which had an incredible house made peppercorn vinaigrette, Delicata, squash, mixed greens, blueberries, walnuts, and a few other things. I also got a side of beer battered fries with Housemade ranch. Everything I got was five stars. I will honestly be dreaming about that salad and wish they sold the salad dressing by the bottle. I kind of regret not asking for something to go. My sisters enjoyed spinach artichoke dip, a burger, a pizza, the salmon dish, the hot honey brussels sprouts, the nonalcoholic wine, a strawberry lemonade, and a cocktail. The prices were pretty good, especially given the quality of food. The restaurant got pretty busy throughout the night, so it seems as though it is a fan favorite in the area. However, it never got too loud and there seemed to be enough seating that people didn't have to wait. It was a decent size dining room and they had a covered patio out back. I would definitely return and would recommend this place to a friend.

Parking was a bit hard to find on a Sunny Saturday lunch hour. I parked on a side street two blocks…read moreaway after circling the free parking area behind the place a few times. The place was dim and loud with music and people talking. They had to talk a bit louder to hear each other over the music. The ambience was trendy with cute moody decor blending the masculine dark walls with a touch of fake plants in the bank. We sat towards the back. The tables were very close together but we were comfortable. I ordered a Mimosa and added the Ketel One Cucumber Mint. It was very refreshing. I had the 3/$12 oysters and the Seasonal salad add grilled chicken. It was all delicious and our waitress was great! She informed us that she was new but did such a great job. The only qualms I had was the loudness. It was hard to hear my friends talking. It was a great little brunch spot and we went on the perfect beautiful day.
