    Cabbage and yum yum sauce
    Hay S.

For only having one review, I was shocked on the quality of the food. The protein was greatly seasoned and was very moist and appetizing. Rice fully cooked but not overly cooked and soggy. Big egg yolk portion and the yum yum sauce was a little runny but still good. The lady checking me out showed me my food to ensure correctness before walking out the door. . Which hell yeah. Especially for being first time customer, I was impressed. The establishments parking lot is definelty sketchy at night but it's well lit inside. Not much dining area but when I get hibachi, it's always to go anyways. I am surely Anticipating my next visit!

Dinner Detour…read more Arrived at the Le Vique Hotel and my work wife had ONE thing on her mind: those famous hotel lamb chops. Naturally, the universe had other plans. The restaurant's range hood decided to call it a night, so we grabbed hotel umbrellas and made our way through the rain to Butcher & Rose. Sunday night? Packed. So we snagged seats at the bar--and honestly, it was the best possible plot twist. Enter Adam, our bartender extraordinaire. I mentioned I like my Cosmos sweet, and this man understood the assignment. Those were hands-down the best Cosmos I've had all year! The filet was tender and seriously delicious, and the mashed potatoes? Ohhh yeah. Rainy dinner adventure: 10/10. Adam: absolute MVP. Cosmos: dangerously good. Sometimes the best dinners are the ones that don't go according to plan!

They moved our reservation to a private room which we really appreciated! Our waiter was also a Level 1 sommelier so he was able to help us get a great bottle of wine. I tried The Rose cocktail. It was so pretty and actually tasted great! Everyone in our party enjoyed their food. The Potato Anna and Lobster Mac & Cheese (it was an off-menu special) were our favorites. We loved everything from the Parker rolls, the steaks, and the chocolate cake as well. This was the perfect location for our celebration since the decor and vibes are so romantic and pretty.

REVIEW BY: Avila.Eats on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube…read more Service: staff were friendly and very talkative. A little pushy and dismissive of boundaries. Concerns of food were not taken seriously. Ambiance/Atmosphere: dimly lit, fairly quite setting. A little darker than you'd want. Food: 1. Pretzel bread is soft and has a strong pretzel flavor. Well salted. 6.5 2. Steak tressel was well cooked medium. The garlic added a beautiful back end flavor and the mushrooms were soft and well salted. The crusting on the steak was well done. Steak was tender and well seasoned. 7 3. Gruyere gratin is soft and had a subtle but tasteable seasoning. The cheese sauce was watered and tasted mostly like butter. The flavor was very weak. 3.5. I asked for extra cheese sauce to help and although it brings it up to a 4. It was still quite weak in flavor. 4. HP burger is nicely charred and well seasoned. Tender. The HP sauce is fatty and smooth with a nice flavor. Bun is slightly sweet and airy. 7.25 5. Deconstructed smore is warm, rich, and smooth. All elements blend beautifully into a molten rich brownie lava cake. The marshmallow fluff is smooth and creamy. Graham crackers add a nice crunch. 7.25 6. Banana foster butter cake was warm, soft and buttery. Bananas add a great flavor and the warm butter cake pairs beautifully with the vanilla ice cream. Cold and warm combo is delicious. The alcohol didn't fully burn off and you get a subtle taste with the slight burn. Honestly not mad at it. 6

I wish they had more steaks to choose from though and they had sides that you had to pay extra for. I got the 3 course meal for the Special - I got the lobster bisque, and the small tenderloin which came with shrimp, and then the Bundt cake for the dessert. Overall it was a good meal! It was a little bit slow because of the holiday so I understood that. But will have to come back soon!

It definitely sets the tone for a nice night out. Also this location is very different from Polaris. The service was okay...not terrible, but not as attentive or memorable as I expected for a steakhouse of this reputation. As for the food... this is where it fell short for me. I've been wanting to try it for a while because I've heard so many good things, so I came in with high expectations. Unfortunately, the steak wasn't cooked the way I prefer, the brussel sprouts weren't enjoyable, and the mashed potatoes tasted like they may have been instant, which was disappointing for a place known for steak. The one standout for me was the meatballs, they were actually really good and had great flavor. Overall, for a birthday dinner and for the reputation it has, our party left a bit disappointed. It wasn't a horrible experience, but it just didn't match the expectations we had going in.

Every single plate was hitting. The steak was cooked exactly how I asked, seasoned well, and actually had flavor all the way through. The lobster ravioli was rich but not heavy, and the salmon was flaky and done right, not dry at all. What really made it though was the service. They were attentive without hovering, kept the drinks coming, and made it feel like a special night without being extra about it. For a birthday dinner, that matters. If you're going, don't go playing small. Order what you actually want. It's one of those places where you lean into the experience and enjoy it. Solid food, great service, and a good spot for something worth celebrating.

My take on the restaurant…read more Brussels Sprouts: 10/10 - as good as it gets! I couldn't imagine better brussels sprouts it was crispy but also soft in the center so you didn't have to fight your way through eating them even good restaurants. I have good flavor and good sauce for brussels sprouts aren't as soft as these ones. This was great. Lamb chops: 6.5/10 - very sweet small lamb chops! Cooked well and had good flavor I just wasn't personally blown away. The Clover Club: 9/10 - knew exactly what I wanted. Had Monkey 47 which is the BEST gin for this drink. Wasn't the best one I've had but pretty close for it not being on the menu. Filet: 7/10 - a little Gamey but it was cooked well as it should be. Didnt have anything unique about it just was don't like a filet should be done. The carrot was cooked to perfection which brought her review up. The fried potato was also amazing best part of the whole dish, especially with whatever spread they put on it. The fillet was not the highlight the carrot and the potato were. Sea Bass: 1/10 - genuinely did not taste good very gamey very fishy took two bites didn't eat it. The soup it came in was a little sour not a good flavor would not recommend. Hamachi Crudo: 3/10 - we are sushi snobs so take this with a grain of salt. It could totally be something that you love, but I hate when somebody brings out a piece of Nigiri or sashimi and it's warm. This dish has potential the flavors around it were very fresh but the hamachi was room temperature when it should be ice cold and the flavors felt like an after thought. Menu: 4/10 - nothing to write home about when it comes to the options. A very corporate get what you expect type restaurant. They aren't doing anything revolutionary here Atmosphere: 7/10 - definitely a nice spot. It's very clean bathrooms are intimate and also very clean again. Nothing revolutionary here the demographic when we went was very old and corporate. Price: 5/10 - $340 plus idk... I feel like this was worth $180-$220 personally for the price I never complain about price anywhere I go out to eat, especially fine dining, but this place was overcharging for what they're actually giving for sure. Overall: 6.5/10 - I would recommend this place to someone who doesn't really care about Food that much and is wowed by like an STK or a more chain like "fancy restaurant" I was hoping to get more of a small boutique very intentional experience at this restaurant just based on the outside by the field, but it definitely feels like they've cut a few corners when it comes to building a really unique food experience I would love to come back and give it another try because maybe I just came at an off time. Majority of people will give us an eight out of 10 rating. My girlfriends take on the restaurant Brussels Sprouts: 9/10 Lamb chops: 8/10 The Clover Club: 8/10 Filet: 6.5/10 Sea Bass: 1/10 Hamachi Crudo: 2/10 Menu: 4/10 Atmosphere: 6/10 Price: 3/10
