We learned that you can pick your own caterer and provide your own booze which can go along way in both cost and allowing you to truly customize your special event. This was one of the top contenders for our wedding day. What ended up keeping us from booking is that we wanted to have a November wedding and this venue is perfect for outdoor weddings so it just was too much of a gamble with the crazy Ohio weather. The staff was excellent -- always checking in to see if we needed anything. According to Charlotte, one of the venue coordinators, they can seat about 150 max. The wedding I attended had a little under 100 guests, with plenty of room to move about with the dance floor set up in the front of the venue. For the ceremony: There is a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking a pond w/ a fountain. Plenty of seating with a small aisle for the bridal party to walk down. For the reception: There is plenty of room! Tons of natural lighting. A concession stand type window bar area and an alcove to set up the food and cake tables. I was very impressed with this venue. Saturday my dad and I arrived around 10:30 and found ample parking in the lot right across from the course. Entering the tournament was fairly painless. Security waved a wand over everyone and that was basically it. From security the fifth hole was right by the entrance , so that was neat seeing a tee box right by the entrance. Dad and I walked the entire course over the two days following the leaders and getting up close to a lot of the golfers. What a beautiful course Muirfield is, someday I hope to play it. Food was good, we had a turkey cheddar sandwich both days for lunch and a few waters. I highly recommend checking out the memorial tournament, in fact next year I'm going to volunteer.

I love fish fry's, especially when the proceeds go to a great cause. According to the website all proceeds will benefit the Ohio Special Olympics and Westerville Special Olympics. I think it's great that all Law Enforcement officers eat free. This is is the 3rd annual fish fry, but it was my first time here. Menu: $10/person, kids under 5 are free.
