The Lobster (I can't remember exact name of the dish) was delicious. The mix with the mushrooms was flavorful and rich. The service was top notch! I also had a Caesar salad which was a good starting point.

I had a great meal and experience here. I was solo and so I just sat at the bar and had dinner. The wedge salad was excellent. I asked them to prepare the sea bass with the ahi tuna rice, veggie, and sauce pairing instead of the standard preparation. Took a minute but they figured it out and it was excellent. I also tried the Eddie's potatoes and they were also excellent. Great wine by the glass choices and prompt service. I will be back again.

Boyfriend took me to Eddie's to celebrate my birthday, our anniversary, and Valentine's Day. Our waiter, Nick was welcoming, knowledgeable and accommodating to our table. We started our evening with drinks. BF had Burnt Orange Manhattan and I had Angels Envy, both on the rocks. We each had a Shrimp Cocktail. Each of the shrimps were huge! I had a Caesar Salad, which was very fresh. I had a regular Filet Mignon and BF had Wagyu Filet Mignon. It was sooooo tender and melted in your mouth. We shared Garlic Butter Mashed Potatoes and Wild Mushrooms. Since we were celebrating, we shared a Vanilla Cognac Brownie. They pour flaming cognac over the whole thing and drizzle with Hot Fudge. Was so rich and good! We will be back! *Only con to the trip was they need to repave their parking lot. Lots of potholes.

Service was really good..... I expected the food to be really good. After hearing so many people say the food was amazing... it was just blah..... the restaurant was nice. Very nice. The bathrooms were really nice inside. But overall the food just wasn't that great. The best part of the meal was the pot stickers... The burger was super dry and just didn't taste that good, my other guest said their food was just okay....

We had a great experience here, from the best dinner bread I have ever had to the steaks to the dessert everything was fantastic!!

Pretty underwhelming anniversary dinner held here. Maybe my expectations were too high as this had been on my list to try for a while. The pros: Server was pleasant enough (Sorry, don't recall his name.) Ambiance was decent, although maybe a bit outdated. My husband's ribeye was well-cooked and flavorful. This was probably the only part of the meal that really hit the mark, so they can at least do steaks right! The cons: Cocktail was terrible. I had the prickly pear margarita. It tasted medicinal, not a good balance of flavor at all. For my meal I tried the ahi tuna. The rice that it came with was incredibly hard and inedible. They did include a complimentary crème brûlée dessert for our anniversary which was nice, and the peanut butter cup was pretty good as well, although I would have enjoyed a thicker crust/a little more texture. All in all, not the worst, but I'd be hard pressed to find the desire to return, especially given the price point.

Eddie Merlot is one of many excellent high end places for steak and seafood in the greater Columbus area. I love the ambience if this restaurant. It is a great place for a party or a romantic night out. The service is also generally very good from the hostess to the servers. Our last visit was excellent. The appetizers (bbq shrimp and crab cakes) were both delicious. The only nit was that the crab cakes were quite small. My wife and I shared the bourbon ribeye, which was perfectly cooked, and surprisingly plenty of food. The onion straws were good as well. Overall an excellent experience.

We went here to check out their happy hour deal. There is a parking lot with plenty of parking. It was busy so I would definitely recommend making a reservation ahead of time! I was kind of bummed we didn't get to sit in the main room as that was where the aesthetics of the restaurant was. We were seated right away and service was top notch. The happy hour deal is $8 apps and $8 cocktails. I got the spicy pineapple margarita and was actually not a fan. There were what seemed like chopped up chunks of jalapenos in the drink and it would get stuck in the straw. Was not a pleasant experience. We enjoyed the G&T though! My friend and I split the filet mignon potstickers, filet mignon sliders with a side of truffle fries, and prime french dip sliders with a side of their house made potato chips. We ended the meal with the New York cheesecake. Everything was so good, especially the potstickers. I would definitely also recommend getting a side of truffle fries for an additional $2! I also loved that they have an extensive wine menu. If I lived closer to Eddie Merlot's I would come back for their happy hour deals!

I haven't been to Eddie merlots in several years and I remember why after my Father's Day lunch. The servers were awesome. The cocktail I ordered was excellent but the food was just average. Yet it's priced like a competitor to Hyde park and others. The grilled romaine salad was something I knew Id crave after I left. The three medallion meal was lacking. I found the bearnaise and Oscar sauces to be lacking. I know that's what they are known for but it wasn't good. My kids both had medallions while one had fries and one had mashed potatoes. They loved the steak and mashed potatoes. The fries are not good. They blanch the fries, dry them, fry them, let them rest and double fry them. It's a lot of work going into making a fry intentionally inedible. I know it's Father's Day but I also wasn't appreciative that they placed all the families in a section away from the main dining room Overall It's not worth the price.

Menu has so many options to choose from, it caters to many types of palettes. My bevy, the Blackberry Cooler, was refreshing. My friend got the non alcoholic version and said it was too tart. Only disappointment of the night was they ran out of the brown butter cake. The banana caramel cake was still a good substitution. Plenty of parking but do recommend to make a reservation to avoid long wait times. Cant wait to come back and enjoy a happy hour.

So I wanted to wait a bit before I left this review because I was annoyed!…read more So I seen this spot on TikTok and was intrigued so bae and I came by! Our waiter was pregnant and super nice and explained the menu and the layout of the bar!! I ordered deep fried pepperonis to try as an experience because I've never had that and I was curious. NASTY SHOULDN'T HAVE GOT IT SENT BACK! They have a doggie ice cream vending machine which is really cool and patio u can chill with your puppy dog on with and they have like game room where there are pool tables, darts etc things u will see in a bar! I walked in like aw a bar let's see what it's hitting for! I was excited to try the flaming hot Cheetos wings and the Grippo wings! So bae and I placed a very large order of wings! I asked if they will charge $1 per 6 wings for flats she said no they will charge just a $1 for the whole order of wings cool (or so we thought). Bae got 12 wings: 6 lemon pepper, and 6 flaming hot wings; I got 24 wings: 12 flaming hot, 6 grippo, and 6 something that starts with an F. Me and Babè tried the flaming hot Chito wings, and they were disgusting. It did not taste like the chip at all so we had them returned, which was a total of 16 wings. Yes, I know that is a lot but it was disgusting and I shouldn't have ordered 12 of the flaming hot for myself, but I could not allow myself to take something home that I wasn't going to eat Now the Grippo's and I do apologize but the other flavor of wings you can see in the picture. They were really delicious. Babè loved his lemon pepper wings as well and then we also got a basket of fries. On the menu, there was some pretzel twist that I wanted to try but when they brought it out, it was a Bavarian pretzel and I was a little confused, but I didn't mind it. I ate a little bit of it, broke it down and took it home also on the menu there was a doggy burger. You can either choose a chicken patty or a beef burger I think so I decided to get my dogs a little little treat; the beef burgers they were five dollars apiece. So in the picture, you will see two containers that has some chopped up meat in it. That is what they are calling the doggy hamburger or chicken patty. There was barely any meat I could have went to McDonald's and bought 10 cheeseburgers and had more meat than what I received for $10 in these two containers I didn't even bother to give them to my dogs. I have big dogs I have mastiffs so I decided to give that meat to the geese that live in my neighborhood. I was so over it that I spent $10 on that and who said that I wanted the meat chopped up like I have over 100 pound dogs why would you give me ground beef versus a whole patty? Just my train thought if it's for a dog! So when it was time for us to check out, they had comped the deep fry pepperonis cause I didn't like them, and then the manager came to us and said that he will give us 50% off for the flaming hot wings so when I got my bill. I was a little taken back by the price. We were originally quoted that they were only gonna just charge us a dollar per all the wings but no, they still charge me a dollar per six wings so in total we ate a total of 16 wings out of 34/35 wings so we got three $1 dollar charges. Then I tipped $40 because I like the waitress she did do a really good job and the owner was nice But if I was already gonna pay 50% for the wings, I might have just kept the wings and just rinse them and did what I wanted to do with them in my own house for my bill to be $105 when I left No, the owner did have us try. His flavor of wings with the white barbecue sauce and it's another flavor of wings with it as well but they were nasty. We didn't like them. Will me and Babè come back of course we will probably come back and just purchase the lemon pepper and the grip of wings but I guess that's just part of learning a new place figuring out what it is that you do and don't like is the ambience something that I like no, I will probably just order for takeout. They do have over 26 different sauces that you can try and blend to make your own wings the way that you like them to be and then on certain days is Dollar wing night she did let me know, but I can't remember what day it was so I do apologize. You guys parking was a little hard as it is a very small parking lot. But you go check them out post your pictures. Tell me about your experience and we'll see you on the next one.

During our recent visit up on Polaris Parkway in Columbus, we decided to sit on the heated patio (which is clutch in Ohio). The vibe inside? Rustic wood, stone accents, mounted TVs everywhere -- classy lodge energy with a side of game day chaos. The staff rock the signature red-and-black checkered flannels, jean shorts, and Ugg boots -- think "sexy lumberjack chic." It's playful, but the atmosphere itself feels more polished ski retreat than dive bar. Our server, Sydney, was friendly and efficient. She stayed on top of refills and check-ins even though the place was buzzing. Now... small rant. We unfortunately sat under a speaker, and it felt like I was eating dinner at a rock concert. I'll never understand the volume war: music plays to drown out conversations, people talk louder, then the music gets turned up again. Next thing you know, I'm basically yelling my sandwich order to my wife. Sorry -- rant over. Speaking of that sandwich... I ordered the Turkey Smashed Avocado Sandwich -- basically an upscale club. Turkey breast, Swiss, smashed avocado, bacon, tomato, red onion, arugula (nice touch instead of basic lettuce), and spicy mayo on potato bread. It came with waffle fries and one of their famous 29-degree beers in a frosted mug. And let me tell you -- that ice-cold beer absolutely hit the spot. The sandwich was fresh, stacked high, and packed with flavor. My wife ordered the Smashed Avocado Burger with fries and said she'd happily get it again. Twin Peaks sometimes gets labeled as "upscale Hooters," but don't believe everything you hear. Yes, the uniforms are on the sexy side, but the decor is classy, the food is scratch-made, and the menu goes way beyond burgers -- steaks, meatloaf, skillet green beans, loaded chips... it's more elevated than people expect. So if you're near a Twin Peaks, stop in, grab an ice-cold 29-degree beer, order a burger or sandwich, and prepare to be pleasantly surprised. Just maybe ask not to sit under the speaker
