We sat at the bar and got Zack, who was easily one of the best parts of the visit. He was chill, helpful, and gave honest food insight without trying to upsell. Ask for him if you go. My drinks? * Crushed Pineapple Martini - smooth, not syrupy, with an actually-fresh pineapple wedge * Heatwave - tequila, citrus, jalapeño, tajín rim. Bold but balanced. My dining partner had the Pomegranate followed by the Lychee Martini -- floral and light, with a soft dessert finish. Food-wise: * Bang Bang Shrimp leaned saucy (mayo-forward), but still came out hot and seasoned. Not my go-to texture, but my partner liked them. * Mussels Josephine were the real win -- buttery, garlicky white wine broth with fresh tomato, herbs, and tender mussels. I signed up for a 4-course wine-pairing dinner, which was held last night. For $60 it was a nice deal. I was allowed to sit at the bar since it was just me, and it was very relaxing. The bartender Jennifer has always been really sweet and professional in the past and last night was no different. Excellent service. I've added photos of last night's dinner. The wine selections were right to my liking, and the mini Key Lime Martini with dessert really hit the spot. Every course was a treat, and since it was so much food, I had the salmon entree boxed up to eat today. The star of the show was the Drunken Coconut Pie. It was one of the best desserts I've ever had. The rum sauce and fresh whipped cream were a delicious perk for the pie. read more

Went for our anniversary dinner. Made reservations since it was the weekend before Christmas- super easy to do online- but it was only about half full anyway (at 2pm.) Service was excellent, start to finish. The place is nice inside. From outside, seems sorta crammed into a strip mall by a smoothie place, etc., but inside is large and classy. We started with a seasonal special, shrimp Rangoon dip. So. Good. Crispy "chips" to dip, creamy cheesy sauce with plenty of shrimp, and a bit of sweet and sour around the edges. Definitely would get again. Kid K got mac and cheese, and broccoli. She liked the mac- you're always taking a chance on restaurant mac, especially fancy restaurant mac, because they might try to gussy it up. They shouldn't, not with a kid's meal. This was good, and slightly fancy due to the rotini, but otherwise simple cheesy goodness. The broccoli was steamed, and I guess she likes roasted better, but she wasn't into it for some reason. Oh, well, we made her eat some, and she'll eat the rest at home, maybe with cheese on it. Sweetie got the filet and crab cake combo. She liked both, and I tasted both, very good. She also got broccoli and very good mashed potatoes. I saw too many small things I liked so I got soup and a side. The crab corn chowder was very good, spicy and topped with cheese and bacon. The General Tso's Brussels sprouts were also great, but not particularly Tso's-flavored. Still, tasty, and gone in a flash. For dessert we split key lime cake and coconut pie. Both excellent, and large. There were so many other things on the menu that I wanted to try. And I'd have everything I had again. Nice kid menu variety, which always helps. We came foot the Angler's Catch on a Friday night and were not disappointed. Ample shrimp and good size portions of the cod. Batter on the cod was very good. I normally don't like seasoned fries, but these were pretty good. Cody took very cold care of us and everything arrived on time. We went early before the dinner crowd so the noise level was almost nonexistent. I did deduct 1 star for where we sat. We had a reservation and asked for a booth. We were pleasantly surprised. My husband's idea to check it out as admittedly, it had been more than a handful of years. We signed up for their rewards program which not only gets you $10 off for signing up, you can make your reservation in the app itself. THANK YOU for offering the chance for customers to book reservations online. It is super important to have that flexibility. We walked in a little before 8 pm and the bar was available as we snagged two spots. Checked in with he hostess stand to share we'll sit at the bar and our night began. Sangria and a white wine. Bang bang shrimp - it's a must. I had the scallop and shrimp skewer with risotto and broccoli. My husband had the filet also with risotto and broccoli. The price point for dinner was fantastic. The food was really good and the bartender was AWESOME. Super friendly super knowledgeable, on point and spaced out checking in with us so he was helpful but not overbearing. Just perfect. We really liked reviewing the calorie count not the menu. Sometimes it makes you super sorry (key lime pie - our FAV but passed until next time) and it does make a difference with behavior modification. Their rewards program is super good and fair with plenty of achievable rewards to use in a specific amount of time that's reasonable and attainable. We had another good meal at Bonefish and it's reliability is one of the reason we go regularly. I had the fontina pork chop and it was excellent. I am so glad they brought that back to the menu. The risotto I had with it was ok but a bit gummy. My daughter had the lobster tails and it was excellent and she and my wife both loved the pumpkin ravioli. My wife had the snapper seasonal dish which had a great sun dried tomato , olive, lime sauce that she really enjoyed. The bread and bang bang shrimp are always very good. Our service was exceptional. I ordered a carry-out at the Polaris Location, on 07/26/2026. The first gal who answered my call was confused. Held for 3 minutes or so. Another gal took my phone order. Waited 20 extra minutes for my carry out dinner upon arrival....it happens....no problem. When I opened up the carryout bag upon arrival at home, the "catch of the day" had been placed in the usual type of plastic container, but had not been closed properly. I had a horrible mess with the juices and the wonderful spinach at the bottom of the bag. Since I love spinach, this was very upsetting. Most of the grouper and potatoes were saved, along with a part of the Spinach. "Polaris" Bonefish needs to learn how to pack their "Catch of the Day" properly....making extra sure that the container is closed. Food was excellent, but some lost to improperly being sealed in the carryout container. Very inconvenient and unprofessional! Neighbors said that the Dublin location is far better. I certainly hope so! Would I give them another opportunity for my business? Maybe after I try the Dublin location. read more

As an update to my review, I was called by Eric, the manager at the Bonefish where we received poor service. Eric was great and allowed me to discuss the details of our visit. At the end of our conversation, Eric asked me if I wanted anything and I said, "No, just being able to discuss our poor service experience was enough and I hope it would help them improve." Eric insisted that he wanted to send me some passes for our next visit and everything would be much better. They would show us how it was supposed to be! Well, guess what??? We never received the passes! Ha! Thanks, Bonefish. I don't know when we'll be back at this point. Maybe when someone says they don't want something, just say, "thanks for letting us know about your visit," and leave it at that. Or don't offer to send anything if you're not going to send it. We came in on Veterans Day to receive the free Bang Bang shrimp but were blown away with the incredible friendly service. Kennedy is by far the most professional waiter we have ever experienced. All of our entrees were perfectly prepared. Our cocktails took a little longer than we expected but Kennedy had already prepared us at the beginning of our meals to expect a delay. They were extremely busy in the bar area. This is truly the BEST seafood restaurant in Columbus. It truly deserves a 5 star salute. Highly recommend the bang bang shrimp as an app. I got the wildflower martini which was amazing. On to the rest of the evening and entree. First off, I have to say the entire staff were some of the friendliest people I've ever met at a restaurant and very attentive and helpful. This is no fault to the team; however, I was really surprised by how the food was just...not good. Looked appetizing, just like the pictures on Yelp, but my fish was just over cooked and dry. My rice was undercooked and hard. I was just floored. Mashed potatoes honestly tasted like fast food mashed potatoes. Ordered online after work on a Friday. It was very easy to order was supposed to take 20 to 25 minutes. So I parked right in front and waited. About five minutes before it was supposed to be ready I called. They advised they would bring it out soon. So I proceeded to wait another 15 minutes or so. No one came out to my car, meanwhile several other people pulled up and received their orders. There was even at least one doordash or grubhub guy that got his order as well. So I attempted to call but after about 15 rings no one picked up. So I decided to go in and what did I find?? My food sitting on a table with 4 or 5 other bags. So I asked the hostess what was going on, why did no one bring it out and how long was it sitting there. She replied, 'Oh it must have just come out and been placed there'. This was a lie because it took me a couple minutes to even get to speak with the hostesses. So I complained about the poor service and potentially cold food, she went to get a manager. Well the manager came out and asked what happened. I explained and stated my frustration. He stated he would comp the meal, I asked if he needed my name or any info. He said no, he would refund it immediately via his iPad or screen thing. Half the meal was cold by the time I got home. We got the mussels for the appetizer. Very good flavor, but they were barely warm. I got the lobster and crab cake with broccoli and mashed potatoes. Again the lobster and broccoli were barely warm. My man got the shrimp and salmon with broccoli and rice. Both sides were barely warm. The flavor of everything was awesome even cold. That and due to the fact the meal was supposed to be comped is why I'm giving 3 stars. I waited a week and didn't receive any refund for the $70 meal. When I called back the manager stated they don't do refunds that way and asked who I spoke with. I told him the manager didn't provide a name and didn't ask me for any info in order to refund me. This manager advised he didn't want to take the time to refund me but would send a $50 gift card via email. I stated the meal cost $70 not $50. That was 6 days ago and I still haven't received any refund or gift card. I expected much better service from the Polaris (Westerville) location. Not a happy customer. read more

Good ambiance, service was fantastic, their bread with the olive oil and pesto was probably the best I have ever had, the bang bang shrimp was absolutely fantastic (it reminded me of Kitchen Social's, but better), the mashed potatoes were very good, the lemon butter was fantastic, the salmon was okay, and the asparagus was not anything special. This was by far one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. My wife came in for the crab legs but she may have miscommunicated and was given the soft shell crab entree. Our waiter was very professional and got her the crab legs and allowed her to try this magnificent dish while she waited. We dine out infrequently but.. WOW. Ask for Kennedy if you ever dine here. He is top notch. Everything from refolding my wife's napkin when she left for the restroom, delivering new silverware, great menu suggestions and even opening the door when we were leaving definitely gave us a 10 star dining experience. I always like to start with the positives--our meal began on a high note with the delicious Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer, and our server, Brody, was fantastic! Unfortunately, when it came to the entrees, two of us ordered the swordfish from the special menu, and both servings were less than a half-inch thick and severely overcooked. On top of that, the green beans on both plates were undercooked. On a brighter note, the shrimp scampi was excellent, and the coconut rum cake was a delightful way to end the meal. The Bonefish grill has always been a "we should go there sometime". We decided sometime had come and were treated to a delightful evening of food and fun. The restaurant has a classic vibe going for it. Bread at the table, water coming over with the server and a well trained staff were some of the elements that made the restaurant stand out from the pack. The meal started with a bowl of their chowder containing lump crab meat, bacon, potatoes and corn. Everything blended together well. Next moved on to a plank salmon with a forgettable sauce thankfully on the side. The whipped potatoes and broccoli complemented the fish well. Finally there was the Bang bang shrimp. Getting it as a main course instead of in taco form can help to cut back on carbs. The meal ended with the pumpkin lava cake so the saved carbs didn't last long. read more

We love this place. Bonefish Grill has excellent food, service, and ambiance! They have a large and varied menu full of great food and beverages. We came on Friday evening with a party of four. (The restaurant can get busy, so it's best to have reservations.). Our server, Zach, was attentive and did a very good job of coming back to our table at just the right time to check on us and bring whatever we needed. Our group started with the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer, and we all agreed it was delicious! Zach brought our drinks and some fresh baked bread and oil for dipping. For our entrees, my wife and I ordered from the "Dinner for Two" menu. I got the Maui Maui, and my wife got the Baja Scallop and Shrimp Scampi Pasta. With the Dinner for Two we each got our choice of salad ( we both chose Caesar salad) and one desert to share. We each enjoyed our dinners very much. My brother-in-law had the Blackened Baja Fish Tacos and my sister-in-law ordered the Cod Imperial. They both loved their selections. To finish our dinner for two, my wife and I shared a large slice of Key Lime cake. The slice was so large that we shared it between the four of us! I had a cup of coffee to go with the desert. We went last evening for a double 50th birthday celebration. Although our waitress was really good, super attentive and went above and beyond, the food was rather mediocre. The calamari was over breaded and crunchy, the actual calamari was very small, no tentacles at all. My husband and I both got fishing courses with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The mashed potatoes had a crust on them as if they'd been sitting under the warming lights for a while and both of our fish was unimpressive. Fish was rather dry and tasteless, my creamed spinach was very sweet. We have gone to this Bonefish Grill location for years. I have a group of girl friends and this is our perfect place for us to get together, laugh, and catch up. If you sit in the bar area for happy hour (4-6pm) you can get a great wine special. $5 a glass for their house wine. For $5 their house cab is perfect for us. We always find a high top community table, we order our wine and we have fun. On our most recent trip, last Wednesday, we had the privilege of having Jessa take care of us. She has to be the happiest server I have had since the pandemic. She was attentive, caring, kind, friendly, and on top of all our needs. I can not rave about her enough. Along with our wine, we all ordered a bite to eat. Most of us went with the Bang Bang shrimp. A must if you ask me. If you have not had it yet, make a change in your life now. Head to Bonefish and order it. I also go a cup of the Corn Chowder and Lump Crab soup. It was not as good as I remember it in the past and I will not order it again, but it did not ruin my experience. Between my friends we also enjoyed the new Crab Topped Bang Fries and Mussels Josephine, both very good. FINALLY got around to coming back to this restaurant. I attended an event here a few months back and really enjoyed all the food I got to try so I figured while I was in the area today I would stop in. I arrived at about noon on a Saturday and the place was pretty sparse so service was expectedly so spot on. I sat and the bar and Shelby took care of me. She was wonderful -- checked in on me several times and answered all my questions. On Saturdays and Sundays they serve brunch open to 2pm so I figured I should try something off that portion of the menu. I ordered a Peach Bellini which was good (and only $5 when paired with a brunch "meal") and their Creme Brûlée French Toast as well as an appetizer of Thai Coconut Shrimp (it's a seafood place... you gotta). The french toast was not bad by any means but it wasn't something I think I would crave. I liked the raspberries that came with it but thought it could have used more. They really complimented the "toast". The dish also came with bacon which helped to balance out a sugary plate. The shrimp was what I really enjoyed. I believe they pride themselves on their bang bang shrimp, but honestly I'm just not a big fan of spicy-- these are a GREAT alternative. They had a very mild kick but overall more sweet and tangy.
