My family and I ate at Bonefish on Christmas Eve. As we sat down, we were greeted with a friendly smile and a warm hello from our server, Dominick. He proceeded to ask how our day was going followed by asking if we wanted anything to drink or if we wanted any appetizers. We received both drinks and appetizers very promptly! I tried the french 75 cocktail and they did not skimp out on the alcohol--just wish it wasn't overly sweet but good overall. Waiter was nice and attentive. So, we like Bonefish. They have a fantastic gluten free menu. They are attentive to their guests; however, we had a really less than stellar experience this evening. Our server was in a rush...I get that they may have been short staffed, but he interrupted me several times, assuming he knew what I was going to say. Another problem was their follow through on gluten free guests. If an establishment has a gluten free menu, generally their staff is good about gluten free protocols. I always feel as though it is my job as a person with food allergies to follow up and clarify to make sure I feel safe. I believed everything was going to fine. About halfway through my spinach, I got the texture of what I thought was garlic was actually a breadcrumb of some sort, so I ask the server and he was like-oh no, that's panko. Not gluten free. Yeah, that's not good. Dessert came out in 3 different shifts, due to the fact the kitchen was short staffed. Ice cream on shift one was melted before it arrived at the table. The whipped cream on shift 3 was so runny from being at room temp for so long, they put it in a cup on the side because they knew not to put it on the dessert. If you are in the mood for Bonefish, I'd suggest visiting the Dublin location where we never had any of these problems. read more

Home for Thanksgiving, my extended family went out for a brunch after church. We had a reservation just in case, but there was plenty of room. Bonefish Grill has has great service and a nice variety of meals to choose from; whether you're a seafood lover or not. In my opinion the steak was undercooked and the portions were small. So if you're really hungry I would suggest getting an appetizer. Their Imperial dip, which consists of cheese, crab meat and shrimp served with fresh tortilla chips is to die for! Food, Service, and Ambiance were perfect!! My husband and I decided to celebrate a dinner out for our 20th anniversary here for our first visit. Our server Kennedy was top notch and probably one of the best servers we have ever had. We started with the recommended bang bang shrimp appetizer, highly recommend!!! This seems to be the place everyone buys me gift cards for. So I hold onto them until I come across them in a drawer and see three or four of them then remember I have them. I'd like to give this place 3.5/5 if I could. The food is tasty, I always get the same thing: Bang Bang Shrimp, Ahi Tuna App and cocktails with a scallop entree. The reason I didn't give it 4/5 is because the service leave something to be desired. They either seem to have their mind elsewhere, don't seem to want to be at work, or they aren't authentic (when you hear the same tone and script said to every person...sort of makes you feel like 'womp womp'). Their price point is good at happy hour but worth it full price as long as your server delivers on their end. I went in for lunch with a seafood craving. I was a bit disappointed to find their lunch menu to contain very little options that weren't breakfast dishes with eggs and things. I don't think eggs and fish sound good together myself... I ordered the scallops and shrimp, (pictured) the scallops are under the shrimp. The scallops were a bit over cooked. I found the portion size to be very small. I know it's lunch but seriously I was hungry 2 hours after eating this. I saw another table get bread but none was brought to mine. I came for my first time after work on Friday with a friend. Yes, they do have happy hour specials. I took advantage of $4 glasses of red wine. We were seated right away at 5pm on a Friday (it seemed to start getting really busy around 6:30pm) Yes, they do take reservations ahead of time but they will let you know if they are busy as sometimes reservations aren't needed if not busy. They have a full bar and a full dining room. Since I am on the keto diet (that includes gluten free, paleo and a no sugar and less than 20g of carbs a day). So for my fellow dieters- YES, they do have gluten free menu. I ordered the appetizer of bang bang shrimp with no breading so it came out as grilled shrimp with the sauce (the sauce is GREAT!). Very filling and easily shareable with 2 people. Menu offers wide variety of seafood selections, a few pasta and meat options. I wanted to try out their Chilean Sea Bass since I haven't had that since my first time trying in 2017 at Baltimore, Maryland and its low carb fish. They allow you to either grill in one of their 5 sauces or opt to have sauces on side. I had all Sauces on the side (I like to dip Each piece and not be restricted to one). I absolutely loved their mango salsa and the bang bang sauce we had left over from appetizer made for a great sauce as well. The Chilean sea bass was grilled perfectly and didn't even need sauce , it tasted great on its own!! I ordered green beans and coleslaw as sides. Coleslaw was good. Didn't taste too sugary and they use a vinegarette on it. Green beans were great as well! With a few drinks. Appetizer and main dish I left Out of there spending about $50. If You get a few drinks, appetizer and 2 main dishes you are looking at around $100+ Service was excellent. Left overs tasted great the next day. I feel like this is my new favorite sea food spot! We were seated at a table and our server greeted us promptly. She brought out water and gave us a moment to look over the menu. An order of bread and oil was delivered to our table during this time. Order: Appetizer Imperial Dip - delicious blend of tender shrimp, bay scallops, lump crab, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, served with seasoned house-made tortilla chips $9.9 Meal Pecan Parmesan Crusted Rainbow Trout - artichoke hearts, fresh basil and lemon butter $21.4 Crab Crusted Cod - garlic and crab crumb dusted, topped with lump crab, white wine lemon butter sauce $21.9 The imperial dip was fabulous and very delicious. I loved the chip & dip idea. The meals were fresh and delicious. Each meal was great on its own level and cannot be compared as being better than the other. The crab crusted cod was delicious! The cod had a lovely white wine lemon butter sauce that brought the whole meal together. I loved the crab looking dip on top. The pecan crusted rainbow trout was cooked hot off the grill, fresh and cooked perfectly. Sides- Green beans - they weren't any good. No flavor and cooked very al dente. They were super crunchy. Garlic whipped potatoes - heavenly! Very smooth and creamy. Potatoes au gratin- cheesy and tasty! I liked how the potatoes were soft and cooked just right. Even with seating restrictions, Bonefish continues to be a family favorite. We visited this week , sat at the bar and enjoyed the usual favorites. they did a great job spacing tables and people while permitting reservations and walk ins. Bang Bang Shrimp & Ahi Tuna. Then grilled Sea Bass and the Chef's special walleye. Another great night. Hopefully they will bring back their happy hour soon and we will visit more. read more

The imperial dip appetizer is fantastic. Next time I'll skip the entrees! I knew I wanted to order the imperial dip appetizer. I'd tried it before and knew it was fantastic. I was feeling a little lackluster about the rest of the menu, though. I finally settled on the pecan Parmesan crusted rainbow trout. It had a artichoke, basil and lemon butter topping that I didn't care for. The entrees come with two sides. With only 5 choices of classic sides available without an upcharge, only the whipped potatoes and au gratin potatoes sounded good. But I didn't want to order all potatoes so I went with au gratin and the seasonal vegetable. The green beans weren't good: crunchy and no flavor. I wouldn't try that again. The potatoes were fantastic and I tried the whipped potatoes from my husband's order, too. The options we didn't choose were cole slaw and jasmine rice, neither of which appeals to me. Maybe they are trying to push people to the premium sides, but for the price of these meals, I expected better sides. read more

I live in Dublin, so I typically visit that location, but after attending 2 Yelp Elite events that were catered by or hosted by this location, I decided to give the Polaris location a try. The service was excellent, which seems to be typical of Bonefish Grill. I feel like this company is very particular about who they hire as well as their training. The staff truly is top-notch every time that I've been to any location. The food was excellent as well. Lily's Chicken is my go to dish and tonight I ordered coleslaw and green beans for my sides, both were great. In my opinion, their coleslaw is exceptional. My husband and I also ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer to share. I had sampled this at an Elite event and fell in love, so he got to try it tonight as well. Everything about our Polaris visit was excellent. Bonefish Grill holds a spot as one of my favorite restaurants. Continue being awesome, BFG Polaris! read more

I'm a little bit disappointed since the last event here as I came here on my birthday to celebrate and none of my guests thoroughly "enjoyed" their meals. I liked the customer service don't get me wrong, but the food could have been prepared differently I guess that day to impress my guests. My guests said the vegetables were off and not cooked very well and fish was very bland. My husband couldn't finish the bang bang shrimp which is their popular dish but I think he liked it. He said the picatta trout could have been better, just not into that meaty flavor to the fish. My pecan crusted trout was alright lacked some flavor which could be adjusted in the future. Overall, I had to do 3 stars as the experience of the food was not up to par with the prices. Plus we had to ask many times for them to bring something out as well. This is a pretty solid chain seafood restaurant. I really enjoyed the appetizers I've had here like the Bang Bang Shrimp and the sliders. A few of them were a bit to rich and creamy for my taste. Don't get me wrong. I love that, but it was almost too much on some of the dips. As far as entrees go, the walleye and Chilean sea bass I've had here were good, but I'm not sure if the sea bass warranted the price point that matched that of Lindey's and a few other spots in town where I've had better versions of the dish. My last visit here I actually had the ribeye, since I wasn't really feeling seafood at the time. The steak was cooked a perfect medium rare with the bone in, but much of the outside was fattier than your average ribeye and a bit tougher. The bone was kind of scattered through out the edges of the meat. It was decent but not the prettiest nor the tastiest ribeye I've ever had. Overall, this is a solid restaurant if you're coming out to Polaris to eat. Many of the dishes were done well while a few others were lacking. I'm not opposed to coming here again, but I don't think I'll go out of my way for it. read more

Surf-n-Turf: 18oz Ribeye with Shrimp. 10 ounces were fat and bone. Ordered medium-rare, came to table medium-well. Shrimp were rubbery. Server recommended two "signature sauces" for the shrimp. Neither improved the dish. Dinner companions meals were equally disappointing. Dessert: I wanted creme brulee, but they only had pumpkin creme brulee, so I opted for brownie bc with ice cream. I always see Bonefish pop up on the list when I search for restaurant to go and this time decide to give it a try. Their menu is limited to mostly seafood items, which is kind of make sense, as this is a seafood restaurant. Portion size is leaning toward the smaller side, and food presentation do have room for improvement. On top of that, the overall flavor is to the salty side and the seafood is a bit on the over cooked side. As for the services, the server is not attentive and I waited for quite some time to get my check. I may not consider coming back, as there are other options that is available around town. read more

I've been here a few times and I love this specific location. The staff here is really nice and they are so helpful. I came in to use a certificate, that was expired, hoping that they would accept it and they did! Staff was really kind about my certificate, I appreciated it. The dining area is very nice, clean, and chill. Their bar area is also nice, with TVs available. When I come, I usually get the calamari here, but their Bang Bang shrimp is incredible! I would recommend those two alone. I like the Imperial dip as well! Their appetizers are really good and I usually don't come for their entrees. I haven't tried their cocktails, but my friends say they're pretty good. They also have happy hour specials for drinks and small plates. Their usual dishes are pretty expensive. I spent about $24 on Bang Bang shrimp and calamari alone and those are appetizers. This is a great place for a more than casual date, family get-together, or just for dinner! They have plenty of parking, plenty of seating, free WiFi, and complimentary bread while you wait for your meal. read more

I used to work at a bonefish. The one on frantz rd. Worked at others too. It's where I cut my teeth so to speak. Since moved to the Bay area, worked at Michelin star restaurants, became a chef. Now I'm back in cbus and can only speak highly of the Polaris bonefish. Went there to eat with my friend who had never been, and he was wowed. Had a seafood craving so I ordered delivery through DoorDash. Decided to try the Calamari appetizer, Corn and Crab chowder and the Kung Pao Shrimp. Unfortunately encountered several food issues: Calamari was more salad (as in lettuce) than actual calamari. Also did not receive the sauce to accompany it. Corn and Crab chowder had great flavor and the crab was melt-in-your-mouth tender. Problem was the pieces of shell that were in the soup as well, making it almost impossible to eat. Kung Pao Shrimp - fried shrimp placed UNDER rice, veggies, and sauce = soggy, limp, unappetizing experience. Which was unfortunate since the flavor was good, although I did miss the Macadamia nuts that were missing from my entree. I'm sure it's different dining there rather than ordering delivery. That being said, for the menu prices I expect MUCH better quality control. Very disappointing and costly experience. read more

Stopped though here after work a couple weeks ago. I had been wanting some Bang Bang Shrimp for weeks. Initially I did not have a good experience. I waited about 12 minutes after being seated to be acknowledged by our waitress. She was apologetic for the wait which I appreciated, alp though they were not really busy. Other than that, her service was amazing. The wine I ordered was great. I wasn't impressed by the Bang Bang Shrimp that I was so excited for. It did not taste as I remembered or craved it to be. It tasted rushed. There was too little sauce, but you could tell that it was prepared fresh so I didn't complain about it. My mashed potatoes were tasty . I usually enjoy my visits here because I rarely get to go and it's like a welcomed treat. Hopefully the next visit will make up for this one, because I'm sure I'll be back :) Grade: C+ read more

Bonefish grill is somewhere I've always wanted to go. I've heard a lot about them from some people who have been there. And they all agreed that I is pretty good. So on my B bay I decided that I would try this out for my B Day dinner Let me start off by saying that you have to get the Bang Bang Shrimp here. I think it's probably their signature thing. It's really really good. The sauce they use on it makes it. It came out hot right out of the fryer which made it taste even better. I ended up getting the Chilean Sea Bass as my main course. They let me get it stuffed with shrimp, scallops, crabmeat, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses and lemon caper butter. It was really good. I've never had Sea bass before, and it didn't disappoint. It was cooked nice and wasn't over or undercooked at all. I got a side of Bacon Mac and Cheese and Potatoes Au Gratin. The Mac was pretty decent. Nothing spectacular but good. The Potatoes the same. Everyone at the table got something different. I know that everyone was really satisfied with their meals. The Drinks were also well made. They weren't something you could get at a regular bar or anything like that. They had that luxurious taste and flavors that you will find at the very classy places. I'm a Whiskey guy so of course I got the Woodford Reserve. It was really nice. The service was good. Waiters made sure that we got what we needed in a timely manner. I don't think anything was forgotten or anything like that. The food took kind of long. But we had about 8 people so I know that had something to do with it. So it wasn't a big deal at all. The place is really dim. So for all the picture takers, beware lol. But I liked it. We got a window seat so we had natural lighting filling in. The place is also very open so you can basically see wall to wall. So it's not that private really. But its not like you are crammed so don't worry. I would recommend this anyone. Especially seafood lovers. Everyone should try the shrimp. It's a good place for special occasions. It's a very nice place. Just be prepared to spend a little bit. It's decently pricey. Some of the appetizers are great, if not expensive. But the entree's I feel are overpriced. It was about 30 dollars for the grilled seabass, which although tasty, was extremely small. The sides included a cup of spinach. I very much enjoy vegetables, but this was spinach that anybody could cook at home in a pan. The service is great, and the food tastes fine, but I can't recommend this place given the value. I've paid half to a third of the price for meals with bigger portions that were much more complicated to prepare at restaurants serving korean, chinese, senegalese, and nigerian food, etc. read more
