I've always appreciated In-N-Out for keeping things simple and consistent, which made this experience especially disappointing. I ordered 11 cheeseburgers with grilled onions through the drive-thru. After driving 20 minutes home, we opened the bags to discover every single burger was missing the meat patties. Apparently, the order had been entered as "grilled cheese" burgers. I understand mistakes happen, but when I drove 20 minutes back to the restaurant, the manager's response was essentially that the cashier entered it that way, so there was nothing they were willing to do to make it right. Respectfully -- who orders 11 grilled cheese sandwiches at In-N-Out? The issue wasn't just the mistake; it was the complete lack of customer service afterward. I love In N Out. This is the closest location to my house approximately 3 1/2 to 4 hours away lol. So whenever I leave my state, I always try to visit one. This location was busy, but even though it was busy, they had plenty of happy employees that were smiling, chatty, and dancing while they worked. Third time visiting and I think it's just a no for me. The menu options feel super limiting, and unclear to newer visitors. We got two double doubles, and they tasted like greasy beef burgers with little flavor other than the cheese and iceberg lettuce added. :/ The fries are sooo small and stringy, and have no umph with texture or perfect crisp. Think wilted - pretty rare in which a case limp/wilted is appealing! Very little salt on the fries as well which isn't my husbands favorite. It's been 10 years since my last review and I figured I'd try them out again. Big mistake. Fries taste like potatoes without flavor, which to me tastes like dirt because that's what potatoes are grown in. They charged me $2 more for cheese fries and simply threw a piece of the cheapest wax cheese they could find on it while the fries weren't fresh so it didn't even melt. The burger tasted as basic as ever. The chocolate shake tasted like someone came up with a fake chocolate flavor using butterscotch and it was so gross. Yet this place has daily long lines for drive thru and is crowded inside so you have to fight for a seat. Why? I'll leave that opinion to myself. Will not be going back. read more

Is there anyone in this universe who could dislike In N Out? I know I can't. It doesn't matter where or when I stop they are always on point. No matter what state, weather...I've always left happy. Today was busy. It's near the college and a mall. The drive thru line was insane. We opted to go inside to give us all time to eat and chat. The employee that took my order was amazing . As someone who lives in WA state where we have a grand total of 0 In-N-Out Burgers, i was very excited to get to stop at one while in Utah! In-N-Out is just iconic. I texted friends back home while in the drive thru and they were jealous! (Seriously though- can someone please bring In-N-Out to WA?! We ordered a little bit of everything- a regular cheeseburger, an animal style hamburger and a double double protein animal style. We also ordered regular fries and animal style fries and chocolate and vanilla shakes. I have had the animal style fries before and they are delish- like why would you even order the regular plain ones?! My only complaint on the animal fries is they looked/tasted like they had been sitting a bit? Theyre super busy so i dont doubt that they have some popular items packed up already to speed it up. They were still pretty good and will definitely order again- oh, i also wish i could order a large fry- it sounds better than ordering 2 orders of the fries lol. The protein style is the lettuce wrap (no bun) for those who dont know. I was feeling the need for something fresh and crunchy with my unhealthy dinner! It was delish- be prepared. This is not a first date burger! Unlike a bun, lettuce doesnt absorb any of the liquid so it was messy!! (But oh so delicious!!) My kiddo and mom enjoyed their food and shakes as well. The line for the drive thru was long- but always expected at an In-N-Out. It moved pretty quickly. I very much appreciated the order accuracy. They read us back our order twice correctly and all the food came as ordered. (Not throwing shade at any other fast food places...) I loved that they have windows along the drive thru so you can see them working inside. Everyone had masks on. There were plexiglass shields between us and the cashiers, every other table was blocked off, they stopped people from entering if it would exceed maximum capacity, and you had to ask for condiments and straws and things rather than get them yourself! I felt very safe here in regards to COVID precautions. The food was delicious- greasy burgers and fries are sure to be found there. What really impressed me were the shakes!! Simple. Great. Inexplicably. There are 4 entrees. But if you appreciate quality burgers then this is the right place. The juicy burgers are perfectly paired with a tangy sauce. I like the onions sauteed, which is called animal style there. I can barely fit my mouth around it. The chocolate shakes are full of creamy goodness. The staff is friendly and helpful even though they are SO busy every single time we go. They have a very clean cut 50's type style. They have plenty of staff to fill orders quickly. This was my first time in the west and my first time at an in-n-out. I was a little hesitant because I do not eat meat, but really wanted to finally eat at in-n-out! I found a vegan guide online, so I ordered the "veggie burger" which is really just lettuce, onions, and tomato on a bun. I got it "protein style" so it was wrapped in lettuce instead of on a bun.
