Had a great night with friends here. Apparently it had been a food truck for a couple of years and now it is a brick and mortar. So glad that we gave it a try! They have perfected the smash burger. They make the Hokkaido milk buns in house & they are delicious. They also start with full meat cuts and make their own ground mixture with a little bit of bacon thrown in. They are grilled to that amazing crisp edges but moist hamburger center. I don't know how I didn't get a good picture. We also had the blood orange salad. Some places you go have ooddles of lettuce and not enough oranges, beets, feta or pistachios- not here. They are in abundance. And the dressing is light and accents the flavors very well. We had the Cazookie for dessert, and it was delicious. They make their own toffee to go in it. The cazookie is warm and crisp on the outside and gooey in the middle. My advice is get your own- don't share. Next time we will come on a Friday or Saturday night. They have live music, which would be lovely since the place is set up like a Jazz club with booths with drapery behind them. It was low lit and cozy. read more

Oh! My! Goodness! I am in awe. I've gone to culinary school and eaten a lot of burgers in my life. Plus, I'm a complete foodie (and I almost never leave reviews online, but I had to on this one). This was THE BEST burger I've EVER had and I've traveled the world. I'd pay triple the price for this experience (but please don't ). Their service was impeccable and the food was BEYOND elite. Some of the burgers are a little more expensive, but some are a good price. I got a double classic burger and rosemary fries. I was not disappointed at all with either. Rarely do I eat an entire burger, but that burger was great. The fries were exactly what I like too. The service was quick, though we were one of only two tables that were occupied. Both the Fancy Bacon and Breakfast Burgers off the regular menu are fantastic (the sausage on the breakfast is the best sausage link I've ever had). It's a family owned and run place. Where the atmosphere is unique and charming, the food falls flat. The smashburgers were overcooked and super crispy on the edges. The fries didn't have much flavor to them. And while the 'Fancy' idea is kind of fun in theory, they don't have nearly enough burger options on the menu 2-3 basic burgers, plus a $38 dollar burger with steak. And if you're trying to commit to being fancy, I think you've got to have your staff commit too -- one was in workout leggings and an open back gym hoodie. Fancy is right. These burgers are unlike anything you've ever had before. Fancy Burger offers a set menu of delicious burgers (highly recommend the caprese one), but the real showstopper is the monthly burger they have. In the past, we had a beef Wellington burger--which they should definitely bring back because it was unreal--and their most recent one that we tried is a bacon and bourbon burger with a bourbon maple fig chutney, thick Canadian bacon, patty, and burrata. Not to mention edible gold foil on the top of the bun. Needless to say, we were wowed. I'd also recommend the rosemary fries. For the dessert, I'm used to a richer/darker chocolate for the molten chocolate lava cake, so it wasn't my favorite, but still tasty. Service was quick and the ambiance is upscale to fit the name with beautiful paintings and a piano. We plan on coming back on one of the nights they have a piano player there. Fancy Burger has been ringing in my head for a while because it's the one burger place I always wanted to try in Utah. So instead of going to work I came here! I had no idea what to expect! I ordered "The Classic (double)" and I instantly felt a bond that is typically only felt by a homemade meal. I you know you know, if not, you've never had a good meal in your life. It was juicy not dry, the tomatoes were "real", and the sauces deepened my conversion with this food truck! The Rosemary Fries really added to this event, especially the fry sauce! The absolute best burger in the Orem/Provo area. I had the classic double: crispy smash-burger style patty, homemade pickles, grilled onions and the softest bun. It made my mouth happy! The rosemary fries are cooked in beef tallow which gives them a delicious flavor and just a little crispy. We topped off the meal with the chocolate cookie and ice cream. Sounds basic, but when cooked on the flattop the cookie becomes soft and gooey while the edges have just a little crunch. Food: SO salty, I've never had a burger that was too salty. It tasted like they doubled or tripled the usual salt amount. The Hokkaido bun flavour was good, but came soggy in the bottom. They also forgot our tomatoes. The server went back to ask the chef for tomatoes, and the chef asked the server how many he was supposed to put. That was odd. How do you forget tomatoes on a burger? Plus, there were only two little pieces of lettuce. Also, I wouldn't have the plain luxury as it's literally just bun, meat and cheese. It seems to be more fitting on a kids menu. Presentation: The plate was too big for the burger, and showed all the oil stains. Service: Our server didn't know what was on the burger even though there were only 3 burgers. Price: The fancy burger was about $35 which is crazy. The other two burgers were around $5-$8 so the price difference is crazy. There's no in between pricing. Setting: Looks like a high class restaurant when you walk in. It's very dark in here, I think I would prefer if they opened more curtains.
